יג אלול

יג אלול Hayom Yom R. Hendel said that at a chassid’s first yechidus, the orla of the heart the thick layer covering it was removed ✨ Not every struggle disappeared, and the person didn’t suddenly become perfect. But something softened. That's what real growth is Not becoming a different person, but removing the fear, ego, hurt, and defenses covering the heart. Sometimes we don’t need to add more to ourselveswe need the courage to remove a layer and make more room for Hashem, for others, and for who we truly are.
