from Santhosam Podcast: Guiding Light of Spiritual Wisdom · host Santhosam

Summer is a season that brings about remarkable changes. The intense heat of summer causes noticeable effects on human skin and body. It also generates internal heat, which can lead to issues like poor digestion and water retention in the lungs. These days, many people over the age of 45 tend to face one or another form of heart-related problems. Any change that occurs on the surface of our body can often be detected easily, even if it’s on our back—an area we cannot directly see. However, when it comes to our internal organs, we cannot easily observe or detect any defects on our own. Therefore, it is essential to have a full body check-up by a doctor or physician—just as we clean our homes and vehicles at least once a year.Today, medical science has made significant advancements through various research and innovations. In the past, detecting blood sugar levels was difficult. But now, people with diabetes can easily monitor their condition with available tools, without even needing to travel anywhere. However, it is extremely important to test our internal organs, especially the liver and kidneys, as these cannot be assessed without proper medical examination.Even for those who have mastered Kundalini Yoga or attained great spiritual heights, regular medical check-ups remain essential. Spiritual advancement does not exempt one from the responsibilities of caring for the physical body.Medicine is an art that reveals how our internal organs function, enabling us to carry out our duties effectively. Even something as simple as a watch is a tool that helps us keep track of time in our daily lives—we can no longer rely on observing the stars, as people did in ancient times. Science, in essence, is the refinement of knowledge put to practical use in everyday life. Yoga, once considered purely an art in ancient times, later evolved into a science. Today, it has further progressed into a sophisticated discipline—an integration of art, science, and technology.Send us Fan MailLet Wisdom Flourish!Let Peace Prevail!
