You Have to Stop Your Pretention

from Sunday Homilies with the Redemptorists · host Novena Church

We all struggle to live in the truth of the Lord. There's a lot of pretention in all of us because we're not yet fully in harmony with God. We have to stop pretending that we're all ok: It means we acknowledge our struggles, we don't commit the sin of blaming others, accusing others, gossiping about others and especially condemning others. It's realizing there's a wood or beam in our own eyes, and the need to change. When we are conscious of that, we will have to work hard to change, to be more Christ-like...to transform.- Sunday Homily by Fr. Peter Wee, C.Ss.R. (2 March 2025)
