Young people remain a powerful force in elections. - IEC

The IEC says as we commemorate Youth Month, it encourages the youth to become active citizens and participate in democratic processes. The Independent Electoral Commission says young citizens can engage in participatory democracy through various means, including assemblies, demonstrations, petitions, and through direct consultations and elections.
