You've got to actually have some steps to what you say you want to do in your life. You say you want things to be better, but you've got to start thinking. You've got to start doing. You've got to put some steps to your action.
You can't just stay where you are. You've actually got to get up and do something. Thank you so much for joining us here on Your Harvest Now. This is Pastor Jeff Coleman, and I am so honored and blessed that you're here today.
You know, one thing we've got to get in our life in order to change our life and where we're going, we've got to get our thoughts right. So today I want to talk to you about the subject of getting your thinking out of that place called stinking. Thank you for joining us right here on Your Harvest Now. Thank you so much for being with us here on Your Harvest Now.
This is Pastor Jeff Coleman, and I'm telling you what, this revelation knowledge that's going to be released today on this program is going to be life-changing for someone. I'm telling you, I believe this is one of the greatest revelations that God has given me to walk in in all my 20-something years of ministry, walking with the Lord, and just ministering. This is the greatest revelation I believe you can get. It involves not just your thought process, but your speaking.
But once you get your thinking and your speaking lined up with the Word of God, I'm going to tell you something. Your life will change forever. You've got to get both those things working though. You know, Proverbs 23-7, the Bible says, for as he thinketh in his heart, so is he.
I've said this for almost four years now, God give me this phrase. He said, you've got to change your thoughts, change your words, and change your life. Proverbs 13 verse 20 says, for he that walketh with wise men shall be wise. But the companion of fools shall be destroyed.
I looked up the definition in the strongs for the word companion. That actually means it comes from the word, grace, Hebrew word, grace. What you eat and where you eat and with who you eat is very important. One thing some of you need to realize today, look, you've been eating at the wrong place.
You've been at the wrong trough. You've been flopping with the wrong hogs and you've been listening to the wrong message and your mouth has been saying the wrong thing. Come on, we're still in Tennessee, part of Georgia. Come on, I can talk like that.
Some of you don't belly it up to the wrong place and you need to change where you eat, where you graze. The company, the company that you personally keep can put limitations on you as long as you are around them. Let me say that one more time. The company that you keep can put limits on you as long as you are around them.
You must be willing to separate yourself. That's why I read that scripture. He that walks with wise men, come on, becomes wise. Who you surround yourself with and where you surround yourself and what you surround yourself around.
All those things are very, very, very important to life change and operation in your life and getting things better. You hang around people who are doing better and seeing better and going places. Your life starts changing but as long as you stay where you are, come on, things are not going to change. Sometimes being in step with God means that you're out of step with certain people.
Some people, the Bible said that broad is the path that leads to destruction but narrow is the path that leads to life everlasting. John 1010 said the thief comes to steal, kill and destroy. But he said, I've come that you might have life and have life more abundantly. Come on, somebody.
I want you to know today your life can be better but you're going to have to step out away from some people. Some people, whether we want to say it or not, some people are just toxic. Some people are just, you know, they're just going to be the way they are and they're not going to change. I mean, God can change anybody but some people in your life, you're obviously not helping them because you know, you've ever been around somebody thought, you know, they thought, well, you know, that's a pretty good God.
I thought I could marry him and change him. Look, he didn't change when you married him. Marriage don't change somebody. God changes somebody.
I don't care if you marry them, sleep with them, stand the same bed with them, feed them three meals a day and treat them right all your life. That's not what's going to change them. They may use you and abuse you but that's not going to change them. Only God can truly change someone.
Some people are not necessarily just bad people. They're just not good for you. We're the product in our lives. We are right now the product of what we think and who we hang around.
I know that some people want to kind of control our lives and some people want to try to keep you in certain situations but I'm telling you right now, your life would get better if you'd removed some things out of your life. If you would change your thinking, if you would run with eagles instead of turkeys, everything would start shifting in your life as soon as you make a decision that you wanted to change. Genesis chapter number 11, verse number 4. They said this, let us go build a city, a tower whose taught may reach unto heaven and let us make us a name lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.
And the Lord came down in verse 5 to see the city and the tower which children have been built. The Lord said, behold the people are one. They all have one language. This that they begin to do, now nothing will be restrained from them which they have imagined.
You better get that in your spirit today. In Genesis 11, there was still enough DNA resting upon the people that were walking this planet from the breath of God, the spirit of God, the breath that gave man life. In Genesis 11, there was still enough divine DNA and operation in their life in their mentality. They was not so far removed from the garden that they still could not function with that creative capability and that creative capability operated from what they imagined in their imagination.
That word imagine means they fixed their thoughts upon. Some of you today need to begin to start imagining yourself coming out of your situation. You need to imagine that you don't have to be where you are. You've got to start casting down imaginations and high things that exhaust themselves against the knowledge of God.
Look, what you don't know about God can stop you. So you've got to start believing God can bring you out. You've got to start saying, God wants better for my life. You've got to start saying, God paid the price through his son, Jesus, for my healing, my salvation, my peace, my joy, my hope, my happiness, God paid the price for all that.
You've got to start imagining yourself. You've got to start today thinking up. You've got to fix that stinking thinking. One great lesson that we can pull from that text in Genesis 11 is that organized thoughts can change the environment around us.
Chaotic thoughts don't lead us anywhere. You've got to get organized thinking. I'm trying to teach some people out here today that are watching. I'm trying to get you to start thinking down and start thinking up instead of thinking down, start thinking forward instead of backward.
You've got to start thinking up instead of down. You've got to get your thinking. You've got to get some organized thought processes. I remember many years ago, I was just a young man, my very first time to ever look at camera in the lens and talk to it.
My very first time to ever hear the roll in for another studio that we were in that day. I listened to that music. I realized it's like I woke up and I realized we're setting in the studio and I felt the color flash out of my face. Before that day, I was setting my side of great man of God, Dr.
Tel Auryn. I was talking about the piano. I said, man, I'd really like to know how to play the piano. He said, oh, yeah, that's good.
You ever took a lesson? I said, no, sir. I never took a lesson. No, no, sir.
I can't read music. He said, well, have you ever sat down at the piano? I said, well, can't Cherokee, when I was a boy, once a week, I'd sat down and played chopsticks. I said, that's about all I've ever done.
He said, you don't want to play the piano? You just say you want to play the piano. You've got to actually have some steps to what you say you want to do in your life. You say you want things to be better, but you've got to start thinking.
You've got to start doing. You've got to put some steps to your actions. You can't just stay where you are. You've actually got to get up and do something.
Here these folks gathered together, they had organized their thoughts. They organize their thoughts. Great, great way to organize your thoughts is that you've got to open up some gateways for shaping your life. There are some things that you can start doing today to shift you.
One thing you can do is you can open up your hearing gate, your hearing. You can open up your ears and Romans 10, 14 says this, how shall they call on Him whom they have not believed and how shall they believe in Him whom they've not heard and how shall they hear without a preacher? Marriages are formed by word commitments. Business contracts are concluded in similar ways.
Many times people used to years ago while we still did business and we had morals in America. Contracts were not nearly as important. Most people would just have a verbal contract. They would just shake hands.
They would agree and they would do business contracts. Multi-million dollar business deals were made on contracts of words and imaginations and thoughts. They were handshakes and decisions. Christians we believe that the world was framed by the Word of God.
We've got to be willing today to believe that the Word of God is good. It's what some man's word ever operated in this earth. Some man's word says, hey yes, we'll do that deal. They shook and went there separate ways.
Never signed a piece of paper. But their word stood for something. Your word, you've got to believe today that the Word of God can change your life. You've got to start listening.
You've got to find a preacher. You've got to find a church. I don't know where you're from. I don't know where you're from.
You may be on the internet. I don't know. It could be on another nation. I don't know where you're from today.
But I do know this. You need to find a preacher. You need to find somebody who's preaching the truth and you need to set down and you need to learn and you need to take that word and let that word start changing your thoughts. Let your imagination start shifting.
You know, I think about Abraham when Abraham had a promise that he was going to have a nation birthed out of his loins and he didn't even have a child. God took him outside of his tent. He said, look up. He said, tell me what you see.
He said, there are the stars, the multitude, the sands like sand of the sea. He said, it's multitude of number. You couldn't even count. He said, that is your promise.
God took Abraham out to the first vision board. He showed him something that he could visually analyze. He could see it. Not only is your hearing gate important, but you're seeing gates important.
I encourage some of you to start exposing your life to greater. I think about housing projects. I've been around housing projects. I actually lived temporarily some point in my life.
I lived for a few years just in a housing project when I was younger. One thing that they say about housing projects is that really those things don't work. They had mixed income housing, which they would have someone on this side of the street who made $25,000 a year. They would have someone on this side that made $60,000 or $70,000 a year.
This guy would be heading out of his driveway making $24,000 a year and he would be pulling out and he would look across and this guy over here would be fixing his boat on Saturday. This guy is still going to work. What they found through scientific study was that mixed income housing work better because people in an environment that if they can look across the street and they can see up, they have a better tendency to go up. In a project housing, everybody in there was one income.
It said everybody just kind of stayed like they were. They just stayed in that system for years and years and years. Why? Because nobody was drawing them into something greater.
That's what God was trying to draw Abraham into that day, into a greater vision. What I'm trying to draw you into today is the power of exposure. Once you see something, once you see something, once your eyes are open to greater, once you see in a change of environment, sometimes if you change your environment, then you're going to change your environment, you can begin to change your thinking. Sometimes if you start seeing people being around other people who are doing things and entrepreneurs, people that are building, not only like if you have a business that you're wanting to expand your business, it's good to go around somebody who has a business like that who's already operating in that business so you can see what they're doing.
That's what you have to do, the power of seeing, the power of seeing. As long as you can't see, you'll never be able to go forward. Here's what I want you to do, Romans 12, 1, 3, listen to this, it's pretty cool. Here's what I want you to do.
God helping you take your everyday ordinary life. You're sleeping, you're eating, you're going to work, you're walking around life. Place it on the altar before God is an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for Him.
Don't become so well adjusted to the culture that you fit into it without even thinking. See what he's saying? He said, look, sometimes if you don't watch it, watch your around, you'll begin to fit into this mold without even thinking about it. That's what I'm trying to get you to understand.
If you don't start exposing yourself to greater, God wants you to open your ear gate, your eye gate, your mind is a reflection of your heart. Your mind is your spirit, your soul in your body, your mind is a reflection of your heart. Out of the treasure, the good treasure of the mouth speak, organized thoughts, organized thinking is not accidental or coincidental. Thoughts don't come randomly.
That's why I say all the time, people don't fall into sin. Actually sin, you have to conceive sin, you think about it, you think about it. Then it becomes sin, you tear on something long enough and eventually it becomes formation and you start doing it in your life. Some of you got to understand, if you don't change your thinking, if you don't start getting new thoughts, you got to have goals, you got to have target, you got to have a vision.
This may sound crazy to some of you, but if you would actually go get you a whiteboard from Walmart and you would go get the series, when I was a boy we had series and robot catalogs, probably don't have any of them in your house anymore, but we had series and robot catalogs and I was smart enough to know that if I got some of that stuff out of that catalog and I put that stuff on the board, I would cut it out of the catalog and I would put it on the board and I would set it out and expose it to my mama. I knew who Santa Claus was, it wasn't, once some guy in a red white suit, it was my mama and I would set that thing out to my mama and she would see it. She saw the vision, it would come to fruition in my life up under a tree on Christmas morning because of the exposure. When I set that thing out, when I cut that thing, I took that Elmer's glue and I put that thing on that poster board and I set that thing out and I said, look, mom, this is what I'm believing for on Christmas morning.
You got to know today that your heavenly father loves you so much that if you would start setting your vision out, if you would start writing it down on post notes, if you would start declaring it before the Lord look, watch you begin to set out in your life, going to start showing up in your life. You got to get that in your spirit today. I feel the Holy Ghost. So strong.
What have you been allowing into your heart? What have you been exposing yourself to? What are you watching? What are you listening to?
What are you accepting? What are you doing in your life today that's bringing something to you? It's up to you. Listen to me.
It's up to you to create what you want to see out of your life. Today, I came on here with one purpose for this whole program. This whole program was this. Get your mind changed.
Change your mind. Change your words. Change your life. Today's your day.
If you will set it in your heart and set it in your mind and you begin to write down. You may not have a serious robot catalog. You may not have a printer, but I tell you what you do have. Find your pen, find your pencil, find your piece of paper and write your vision down.
Put your vision before your eyes. You may not have anybody else in your life to agree with you, but I won't agree with you today. I want you to get a pen and paper out right now. Hurry.
Come on. I'm running out of time. Get a pen and a piece of paper out right now and write down what your vision is. Write down.
I'm believing God for it. I'm believing God for it. Write those things down right now. I want to pray for you.
You may not get them all wrote down before we pray. I'm about to run out of time, but I want you to write them down. I want you to expose your eyes, expose your environment. Then after you write it down, say it out of your mouth.
I'm going to see this come to pass in my life. I'm going to see this come to pass in my life. I'm going to see this come to in my life. I'm going to see it.
Once you start saying it, you're going to start seeing it. I'm telling you right now, I believe the Word of God is absolutely true. I believe if you start imagining and if you start speaking, you'll start seeing. So Father, I pray for every person watching today.
I pray that they will get a vision, that they will get a plan, they will get a purpose, and they will move forward in their own life that they'll say, you know what God, thank you. For giving me a mind. Thank you for giving me the creative capability. We were born with creative capability in ourself.
God made us to produce. God called us to fruitfulness. Receive that word. God's called you to fruitfulness.
God calls you to greater. Right now today, you're going to start exposing your own self. It's going to start with you. It's going to start with you.
It's going to start with you. You've got to start exposing your own self to the purpose and plans of God for your life. You say, pastor, I don't know what I'm called to do. I don't know what my purpose is.
Look, I want to pray with you. I want to give you some direction. I want to help you find a place where you can grow. You may never come to New Harvard Church, but I can tell you this.
