From the outside perspective, you have got it all together. If you’d ask anyone around you, people will tell you how impressed they are about the way you rock your everyday life, with everything you have got on your plate. But what they don’t see, is the pack of unleashed Minions inside of you racing and babbling, creating chaos while trying to being on time, remembering all the things that needed to be done, and your kids’ appointments too, worrying about stuff at work and your mom’s wellbeing lately…And the fact is, you are not alone – but the mental load that you are carrying is something no one else seems to be able to help you with. Because you are always the one in control. Of course your partner and you work together, but he does not see all the things that need to be done, the kitchen that needs cleaning, the parent-teacher conference, the car that’s due for inspection – yes you can tell him to do things too, but it’s not like he is going to think of these things himself. And so your brain is constantly spiraling and starting to overheat. If you loosen the belt for only 1 inch, everything will fall apart. Am I right? My friend, you need to listen to this right now! First, you are going to take a deep breath, and as impossible as it may seem, you are going to pause right here, right now, because your sanity, your heart and your soul desperately need this. And if you can’t handle the stillness for now, go outside and use it as a Walking Meditation. Don’t postpone it, don’t leave it for later in the day.
