Your Mindset Is the Missing Piece and Here's Why

from A Cup of Dri: Fitness Thoughts from My Car to Yours · host Adriana Mastronardi

I was listening to someone on Instagram this morning talking about mindset, and her trainer had told her that 90% of body composition comes down to what you eat. I agree, but I also believe mindset is even more important than that. Because no amount of macros or workouts I give you will work if you don't believe you can do it. If you think you can't, you won't. It really is that simple. In this episode, I'm talking about the stories we tell ourselves, the desk job, the busy schedule, the love of chocolate and how those stories are what keep us stuck, not our circumstances. I also want to call something out directly: life is never going to slow down and give you the perfect moment to start. If you've been waiting for things to calm down before you commit to yourself, you're going to be waiting forever. The magic happens in the middle of the chaos.I share some of my own go-to strategies for eating well when life is hectic, think Costco chicken packets, canned organic soup, Sunday prep that takes maybe an hour because eating well doesn't have to be complicated. It just requires a shift in how you're thinking about it.If you're tired of feeling exhausted, tired of your clothes feeling tight, and tired of putting yourself last, this one's for you. And if you're ready to take that next step, my six-week Reawaken group coaching experience is open. DM me the word reawaken on Instagram at @cupofdri or click the link in my bio to apply.
