How to Stay Consistent When Life Gets Hard
Life is going to throw things at you and when it does, most people abandon themselves entirely. In this episode, I'm talking about the simple question I come back to every single day with my clients and in my own life: How can I?How can I show up for myself today, not yesterday's version of showing up, not the perfect version but today, with what I have and what's on my plate?I share what this looked like when my dad was sick and I couldn't get to the gym the way I wanted to, and what it looks like right now as I recover from surgery with a baseline of a thousand steps a day. Showing up doesn't have to be all or nothing. It has to be intentional. We also talk about the victim mentality that keeps so many women stuck. The "I can't right now" story that feels true but is really just an excuse and how planning ahead the night before is one of the simplest tools to break that cycle. You always have control over something. Your water. Your steps. Your food choices. The goal is to find that thing and build from there, every single day.Visit www.cupofdri.com to learn more about working together.

I Sat On This For Years: My Surgery, My Decision & Why I'm Finally Sharing It
I've been sitting on this for a long time and today I'm finally sharing it.In this episode I'm talking about my decision to have surgery. Not just the medical side of it, but the years of internal back and forth, the fear of what people would think as a fitness coach, and the moment I finally gave myself permission to say yes.I share the full story - three kids, almost 12 years of diastasis recti that no amount of physio or core work could fix, an umbilical hernia that became the real catalyst, and the honest truth about the cosmetic piece too. Because both things can be true at the same time: I earned every bit of this body, and I don't like parts of it. And I've decided that's enough of a reason.I also take you into my recovery two weeks post-op, walking with a walker, missing the gym, and leaning on my "How Can I" mindset to show up for myself in a completely different way than I'm used to.This one is personal. But I'm sharing it because I know there are women quietly sitting on a decision of their own and I want you to know that you don't owe anyone an explanation for what you choose for your body. The goal is always peace. Not perfection. Peace.

The Mental Load of Eating Healthy (And How to Deal With It)
In this episode, I'm getting into something that comes up with almost every single one of my clients, that moment when you just want to eat the burger, skip the workout, and stop thinking about all of it. And honestly? I get it. There's a real mental load that comes with being consistent, tracking your food, and being "the healthy one" in your social circle. Your nervous system is just asking for a break, and that's not a flaw, it's information.I talk about why eating freely is so tied to belonging and connection, and why removing that can feel isolating at first. My answer when a client says she wants the burger isn't "stay strong", it's "then have it." One meal doesn't undo your progress. One rest day doesn't erase your discipline. What matters is what you do after, and that reflection piece is where real transformation actually lives.I also get into something I don't think enough people talk about: the grief. The grief for the version of you who didn't know what you know now, who ate without thinking and moved without intention. That loss is real. But you can't unknow what you know, and the goal is to build something better, even when it's uncomfortable.I break down the spectrum between freedom and precision, two ends that aren't opposites, and why the goal isn't to live at one end forever, but to move intentionally within that range depending on your season of life. True food freedom isn't restriction dressed up. It's doing the thing, reflecting without guilt, and returning to your intention without spiraling. If this episode hit home, DM me "reawaken" on Instagram at @cupofdri or visit cupofdri.com to learn more about how we can work together.

Your Mindset Is the Missing Piece and Here's Why
I was listening to someone on Instagram this morning talking about mindset, and her trainer had told her that 90% of body composition comes down to what you eat. I agree, but I also believe mindset is even more important than that. Because no amount of macros or workouts I give you will work if you don't believe you can do it. If you think you can't, you won't. It really is that simple. In this episode, I'm talking about the stories we tell ourselves, the desk job, the busy schedule, the love of chocolate and how those stories are what keep us stuck, not our circumstances. I also want to call something out directly: life is never going to slow down and give you the perfect moment to start. If you've been waiting for things to calm down before you commit to yourself, you're going to be waiting forever. The magic happens in the middle of the chaos.I share some of my own go-to strategies for eating well when life is hectic, think Costco chicken packets, canned organic soup, Sunday prep that takes maybe an hour because eating well doesn't have to be complicated. It just requires a shift in how you're thinking about it.If you're tired of feeling exhausted, tired of your clothes feeling tight, and tired of putting yourself last, this one's for you. And if you're ready to take that next step, my six-week Reawaken group coaching experience is open. DM me the word reawaken on Instagram at @cupofdri or click the link in my bio to apply.

Reawaken: The Group Coaching Experience That Will Change Everything
In this episode, I'm sharing something really close to my heart, my brand new Reawaken group coaching experience. The word "reawaken" means so much to me personally. Around the time I turned 40, I felt completely lost in the shuffle of motherhood, work, and all the roles we play as women. I didn't know who I was anymore. So I started pouring into my physical health, and in doing that, I reawakened a confidence and a version of myself that had been sleeping for years and I've watched that same transformation happen for so many of my clients. This six-week group coaching experience is designed to lower the barrier to entry for women who are curious about coaching but scared to commit. Together, we cover macros and how to track them, strength training and progressive overload, mindset work, breathwork, and what it really means to fuel your body for long-term results. You'll get weekly group calls, a group chat for support and accountability, and a kickoff call the week before so you hit the ground running from day one. This is not a crash diet. This is the beginning of a sustainable transformation. My last group lost over 40 pounds and 15–20 inches combined and they're still going. If this sounds like what you've been waiting for, DM me the word reawaken on Instagram at @cupofdri or visit www.cupofdri.com to learn more.

The "End Date" Mentality That's Keeping You Stuck in Diet Cycles
In this episode, I'm sharing something a client said to me that stopped me in my tracks. She realized there's no end date to the lifestyle we've been building together. And that shift? That's everything. So many of us have been stuck in diet culture without even realizing it. We white-knuckle through restriction telling ourselves just two more weeks, counting down to the moment we can "go back to normal." But here's the problem, normal wasn't working before, and it won't work when you go back to it. Every traditional diet is just a loop: restrict, quit, repeat, suffer again.I talk about why the real shift isn't finding a better diet, it's stopping the cycle entirely. The habits we build together aren't temporary. They're not a program with a start and end date. This is a lifestyle, and the goal is to build something so sustainable that there's nothing to go back to.I also get into the identity piece because this isn't just about macros or workouts. It's about reprogramming how you've existed for most of your life. When my client told me she no longer thinks about things she wants to go back to because it's all at her fingertips now, that's the win.So I want to leave you with this: What are you waiting to go back to? What if you were already there? If this resonated, DM me "reawaken" on Instagram at @cupofdri or head to cupofdri.com to learn more about working together.

Be Where Your Feet Are (And Still Make Progress)
Lately, life hasn’t looked the way I’m used to and that’s exactly what inspired this episode. Between stress, unpredictable schedules, and missing workouts, I’ve had to rethink what it actually means to “stay on track.” And here’s the truth: progress doesn’t come from perfect days, it comes from how you show up in the imperfect ones.In this episode, I talk about:Why not eating enough during stressful times can actually make things worseHow simple preparation (not perfection) keeps you consistentWhat “be where your feet are” really means in your fitness journeyLetting go of the pressure to outperform yourself every single dayHow to keep moving forward, even when your routine is offIf you’ve ever felt like missing a workout or having an off day means you’re failing… this episode will shift your perspective.Because the goal isn’t perfection, it’s showing up with what you’ve got, every single day.

Slow Down to Speed Up: Why the Basics Matter Most in Stressful Seasons
In this episode, I’m sharing a very real season of life and the reminder it’s giving me about self-care and fitness. When stress is high, the instinct is often to push harder, do more, and keep chasing perfection. But what I’m learning is that the opposite is usually what our bodies actually need.I talk about why slowing down and focusing on the basics - movement, hydration, nourishment, and simple habits, can support both your body and your nervous system when life feels overwhelming.Sometimes that means lifting lighter, walking instead of training hard, or simply making sure you’re still taking care of yourself in small ways.Because when life gets stressful, it’s not about doing more. It’s about doubling down on the habits that keep you grounded. And most importantly: the basics still work.

Protein Bars and Shakes Might Be Making You Hungrier
In this episode, I talk about something I see all the time with clients in a fat loss phase: relying too heavily on protein bars and shakes. While they’re convenient, they digest quickly and often leave you feeling hungrier sooner than whole food protein sources like chicken, steak, fish, or yogurt. I explain why whole foods tend to keep you fuller longer and share simple, practical alternatives you can use when you’re on the go. If you’re constantly hungry while dieting, this small shift in how you get your protein can make a big difference.

Why You Eat “Clean” All Day But Overeat at Night (Fat Loss for Women)
In this episode, I break down one of the most common struggles I see in women trying to lose weight: eating clean all day… then overeating or picking at night. If you’ve ever said:“I’m good all day but lose control at night.”“I’m eating healthy but not losing weight.”“I don’t know why I sabotage myself.”This episode is for you.I walk through a real client example and explain:Why protein timing matters for fat loss and muscle buildingHow uneven protein intake affects hunger and cravingsWhy relying on protein shakes may not keep you fullHow water intake and daily steps impact appetite regulationWhy eating 1200–1600 calories without structure can backfireThe real reason nighttime cravings happenThis isn’t about willpower. It’s about macros, structure, metabolism, and setting up your day so you don’t feel out of control at night. If you’re a midlife woman trying to lose fat, build muscle, and stop emotional eating in the evenings, this episode will give you practical strategy, not diet culture advice. You’re not broken.Your setup just needs to change.

When You Want the Chocolate (But You’re Not Hungry)
In this episode, I take you with me in real time as I sit in a parking lot staring at a bag of chocolate-covered almonds… wanting them badly, but knowing I’m not actually hungry.Dinner was done. Protein was hit. My night was already planned. So what was really going on?I break down what cravings actually are, why that urgent “I need this right now” feeling has nothing to do with hunger, and how learning to regulate your nervous system can completely change your fat loss journey. This isn’t about willpower. It’s about awareness. It’s about pausing. It’s about choosing the woman you’re becoming over the impulse of the moment. If you’ve ever stood in your kitchen wanting something you didn’t need, this episode will hit home.

The 5-Minute Rule That Changes Everything
This morning I tried to talk myself out of leg day.Walk instead. Do something easier. Maybe just rest.Sound familiar? In this episode, I break down what I call The 5 Minute Rule - the simple shift that helps me move through resistance, stop negotiating with myself, and build real consistency. Because discipline isn’t about feeling motivated… it’s about showing up anyway. If you’ve ever struggled to get started, this one will hit home.

Why Your Workouts Aren’t Changing Your Body (And What To Do Instead)
In this episode of A Cup of Dri, I’m breaking down what progressive overload actually means and why it’s the key to building muscle, strength, and changing your body. It’s not just about lifting heavier weights. It’s about intention. It’s about tracking your effort. It’s about using tools like fractional plates, tempo, reps, and RPE to push yourself just enough without sacrificing form.If you’re doing the same workouts week after week with the same weight and wondering why nothing is changing, this episode is for you.I’ll explain:What RPE really means and how to use itWhy eight-week blocks workHow to know when to increase weight (and when not to)Why consistency beats constantly switching exercisesIf you want body recomposition, strength, and confidence in how you look and feel, you need a plan, not random workouts.Let’s talk about how to train smarter.

Why Macro Tracking Isn't Restrictive - It's Freedom
In this episode, I break down why I track macros and why it’s not about restriction or perfection. I talk about awareness, muscle-building in midlife, food freedom, and how tracking helps you support your workouts, your health, and your long-term goals without feeling overwhelmed

What Maintenance Really Means (and What It’s Not)
For years, I believed that if I couldn’t maintain my photoshoot weight, I was failing as a woman and as a coach. In this episode, I share the moment that finally clicked for me: maintenance isn’t a number you force, it’s the weight you can live at without struggle. I talk about releasing scale shame, buying clothes for the body you actually have, and why thriving matters more than staying lean.

From A to B: Why the Path Matters More Than the Goal
Today’s episode was inspired by a message I heard in hot yoga about goals, progress, and the space between where you are and where you want to be. I talk about why obsessing over the end goal can actually hold you back, why there’s no “perfect” way to do this, and why sustainability is the real secret to lasting change. This is a reminder that showing up imperfectly is still progress and that your path has to work for you if you want results that stick.

104
The Excuses Keeping You Stuck
In this episode, I break down the most common excuses I hear from women who feel stuck in their fat loss journey. From “tracking takes too much time” to “I don’t get enough steps” and “I don’t know what to do at the gym.”I explain why awareness around food matters, how small daily movement adds up, and why consistency (not perfection) is what actually drives results. If you’re tired of spinning your wheels and telling yourself the same story without seeing change, this episode will help you see where you’re getting in your own way, and what to do about it.

Why New Year’s Resolutions Fail and What Actually Works Instead
Every January I see the same thing: motivation is high, the gym is packed, and people go all-in… only to burn out a few weeks later. In this episode, I talk about why New Year’s resolutions so often fail, not because of laziness or lack of willpower, but because we try to change everything at once. I break down how habits are actually formed, why your brain resists change, and how starting small (like gradually increasing daily movement) creates lasting results. If you’re already feeling overwhelmed or like you’re losing steam this month, this episode is your permission to slow down, focus on one habit, and build momentum that actually sticks.

Why Fasting and Detox Teas Backfire After the Holidays
I’m sharing a real client conversation that highlights what not to do when the scale jumps and your body feels off. We talk about water retention, stress, cortisol, and why fasting or using detox teas after overeating only makes things worse. This episode is about stepping out of the panic cycle, letting your body do what it’s designed to do, and rebuilding trust instead of trying to undo or punish yourself. If you’re stuck in an all-or-nothing mindset right now, this one’s for you.

Either You’re In or You’re Out: A New Year Reality Check
On the last day of the year, I’m sharing a real conversation about decisions, follow-through, and why staying “on the fence” is often more exhausting than choosing a direction. I talk about the power of looking 30–90 days ahead, acting like the version of yourself you want to become, and why goals without a plan rarely stick. This episode is a reminder that time will pass anyway, the question is how you’re going to show up for it.

The Real Reason You’re Stuck (It’s Not Motivation)
I fully resisted my lower body workout today. Even wore the wrong shoes to convince myself to skip it.This episode isn’t about leg day though, it’s about the stories we tell ourselves to avoid discomfort. Our minds are wired to keep us safe, not to help us grow. So when something feels hard, we resist it… and that’s where progress stalls.Today I talk about why I run toward the things I resist, how doing things anyway builds a powerful mindset muscle, and why this applies to fitness, nutrition, business, and life.If you’ve been stuck or spinning your wheels, this one’s for you.🎧 Do it anyway.

Stop Waiting for January: How Small Habits Create Big Change
With January around the corner, there’s a lot of pressure to “start fresh” and be perfect with health and fitness. In this episode of A Cup of Dri, I talk about why that all-or-nothing mindset is exactly what keeps so many women stuck.I share why I don’t restart in January, how small daily habits create real, sustainable change, and why awareness, not perfection, is the true first step. We’ll break down simple examples like daily steps, protein at breakfast, and easy routines you can start now without overwhelming your life.If you’re tired of starting over every year and want a realistic, sustainable approach to feeling stronger, fitter, and more confident, this episode is for you. I also share details about my 6-Week Kickstart starting in January for anyone who wants structure and support.

Why You Say You Want Change… But Don’t Take Action
In this episode, I dive into something I know so many women struggle with: wanting change but not actually taking the uncomfortable steps required to make it happen.I talk about why habit change feels so hard, why quick fixes never last, and how the patterns you repeat every day are either moving you forward… or keeping you stuck in the same place you were three months ago (or even a year ago).I share a real client example of a habit she didn’t even realize was holding her back, and how bringing awareness to our behaviours is often the key to breaking the cycle. We also get into the truth about food tracking, why you don’t have to do it forever, but why giving yourself a solid year of practice can transform your awareness, your portion control, and your long-term sustainability. I explain how tracking builds the skill of eating intentionally so you can later be flexible without backsliding. If you’ve been relying on quick fixes, feeling frustrated because you're “doing all the things,” or waiting until the new year to start changing your habits… this episode will give you the push and the clarity you need. Training with Intention: One Rep at a Time
In this episode of A Cup of Dri, I reflect on how my approach to training has evolved, from chasing ego lifts and personal records to truly training with intention. These days, my goals go far beyond aesthetics. I’m focused on longevity, strength, bone health, and building a body that can carry me well into midlife and beyond.I talk about the mindset shift that comes with maturity in the gym, understanding that progress isn’t always about lifting heavier, but about lifting better. I share how I’ve learned to slow down, focus on form, honor tempo, and connect my mind to the muscle I’m actually trying to work. Because growth doesn’t come from doing more, it comes from doing things well. You’ll hear how I’ve redefined success in my training, the rules I now follow to keep myself accountable, and why I’m exploring impact and mobility work to support long-term bone density and movement health. If this resonates with you, or if you’re craving structure and support in your own training, connect with me on Instagram @cup.of.dri or visit cupofdri.com to learn about one-on-one coaching that focuses on strength, sustainability, and self-trust.

Do the Boring Work: The Parallel Between Fitness and Building a Business
In this episode of A Cup of Dri, I share a real and raw moment that hit me like a ton of bricks. I was venting to a friend about how frustrating business growth can feel, doing all the right things, showing up daily, and not seeing instant results. And then it clicked… I sounded exactly like my clients. That same doubt, that same impatience, that same little voice saying, “It’s not working.” The truth? Whether it’s your fitness journey or your business journey, there’s no quick fix, just consistent, sometimes boring work that eventually compounds into results.I talk about what it really means to trust the process, to stay in the discomfort of not yet seeing the payoff, and to recognize when you’re the one standing in your own way. Because if you stop now, you stay stuck, but if you keep going, everything can change. If you feel like you’re spinning your wheels, grab my free habit audit at www.cupofdri.com/freehabitaudit and let’s pinpoint what’s keeping you stuck so you can take the right action forward.

You’re Not the Exception: Why the Basics Still Work
In this episode of A Cup of Dri, I share a conversation that stuck with me. One with an adult student who said, “Nothing works for me.” It’s something I hear often, especially from women in midlife who feel like they’ve tried everything and their bodies just don’t respond anymore. But here’s the truth: if you’re not consistently doing the basics, moving your body, eating enough protein, managing stress, sleeping well, and staying in a true calorie deficit, it’s not that “nothing works.” It’s that you haven’t given what does work enough time, consistency, or honesty.I unpack why the fundamentals of fat loss still apply, no matter your age or hormone status, and why sometimes the real growth comes from being open to feedback and willing to see where you might be standing in your own way.If this resonates, let’s talk. You can connect with me on Instagram @cup.of.dri or at cupofdri.com to learn more about one-on-one coaching and how to rebuild a lifestyle that actually works for good.

Your All Looks Different Every Day
In this episode of A Cup of Dri, I dive into a powerful mindset shift that came out of a conversation with one of my clients, the idea that “your all” doesn’t have to look the same every single day.So often we get caught in that all-or-nothing mentality, thinking that if we’re not hitting 100% like we did on our best day, we’ve somehow failed. But the truth is, your 100% today might look completely different from your 100% tomorrow and that’s okay.I share what it means to honor your energy, your effort, and your circumstances, instead of constantly feeling like you’re not doing enough. Because showing up for yourself, even imperfectly, is progress.Whether it’s in the gym, in your nutrition, or just getting through the day, I want you to remember that your best effort counts, even when it doesn’t look perfect. If this message resonates, come hang out with me on Instagram @cup.of.dri or head to cupofdri.com/breakthroughcall to book your free 20-minute Big Rocks Breakthrough call so we can uncover what “your all” looks like for you.

Stop Disconnecting From Yourself
In this episode of A Cup of Dri, I share one of the biggest lessons I took away from a recent retreat: stop disconnecting from yourself. For me, that means quieting the noise, trusting my gut, and refusing to play small in my business and goals. For the women I coach, it often shows up as chasing quick fixes, following the crowd, or abandoning the very habits that build lasting change. I talk about why quick results don’t stick, how to embody the version of yourself who already has what you want, and why believing you’re worthy is the first step. If you’ve been paralyzed by inaction or waiting for the “right” path, this is your reminder to connect back to what you already know works, and start showing up as her.

BMR, Calories, and Why More Isn’t Always Better
In this episode of A Cup of Dri, I share a mix of thoughts sparked by a conversation with my son about walking, cardio, and calories. I explain the basics of BMR (basal metabolic rate), what maintenance and deficit really mean, and why eating too little can actually work against you. I also dive into the “more is better” mindset, whether it’s piling on cardio, lifting too heavy with poor form, or overtraining and why intentional, quality work will always beat doing more just for the sake of it. If you’ve ever been confused by calories, deficits, or whether walking counts as cardio, this one’s for you.

Why Rest Can Be the Most Productive Thing You Do
In this episode of A Cup of Dri, I share how I’ve flipped the script on what progress really looks like. Old me believed missing a workout meant losing results. But now I know better: when my body is fighting something, the best thing I can do is reduce stress, prioritize sleep, hydrate, move gently, and fuel with protein. I talk about why “more isn’t better, but better is better,” and how focusing on the Big Rocks (movement, water, protein, sleep, stress management) keeps me progressing even when I’m not in the gym. This is your reminder that sometimes slowing down is the fastest way forward.

Stop Chasing Quick Fixes and Build Your Foundation
In this episode of A Cup of Dri, I dive into why so many of us waste time on small, insignificant things like cutting carbs, fasting, and supplements, thinking they’ll finally be “the answer.” The truth? Those are just band-aids. Real, lasting results come from building a foundation: protein, movement, sleep, hydration, stress management, and consistency. I share my own journey of stepping off the hamster wheel of quick fixes and how choosing sustainability changed everything. If you’re ready to stop spinning your wheels and finally create a lifestyle that lasts, this episode is for you.

Facing the Fear of Something New
In this episode of A Cup of Dri, I share a story about being asked to lead a group fitness class, something totally outside of my comfort zone. Even as a coach and trainer, I felt the fear of trying something new, the same fear many women feel when starting their fitness journey. I talk about why our minds crave safety, how to move through discomfort instead of running from it, and why being “the buffalo” who faces the storm head-on is the only way to grow. If you’ve been waiting to feel ready, this episode is your reminder that the only way out is through.

There's No Perfect Time to Start
In this episode of A Cup of Dri, I reflect on a powerful reminder I got from a friend, that you don’t have to wait for January 1st, Monday morning, or “when life slows down” to begin. Whether it’s journaling, fitness, or building healthier habits, the truth is there’s never going to be a perfect moment. The real transformation happens in the messy middle, when life is busy and imperfect. I share why waiting only holds you back, how to reframe “control,” and some simple ways you can start showing up differently today.

What It’s Really Like to Work With Me as Your Coach
In this episode of A Cup of Dri, I break down exactly what working with me looks like. From our first conversations to the onboarding process, food tracking, weekly check-ins, personalized workouts, and accountability, I walk you through the whole experience. I also share what I expect from you, what you can expect from me, and why coaching is about partnership, not perfection. Choose Your Hard: Why Sustainable Results Require More Than a Workout Plan
The other day, someone looked me up and down, motioned with their hand, and asked me, “How do I get this? Is this hard?”I laughed at first, but the truth is… yes, it requires work. Not the miserable kind of work where you drag yourself through something you hate, but the intentional choices that add up over time:✅ Prioritizing protein✅ Hitting my steps✅ Staying hydrated✅ Sleeping well✅ Managing stress✅ Strength training consistentlyIt’s not about quick fixes, fad diets, or miracle programs. It’s about coming back to these “big rocks” again and again, even after vacations, busy seasons, or setbacks. The easy way out might feel tempting in the moment, but it’s really just a hamster wheel that keeps you stuck. The real path forward? Choosing the kind of “hard” that sets you up to feel strong, healthy, and confident for the long haul.In this episode, I’m breaking down what sustainable health actually looks like, why shortcuts won’t get you where you want to go, and how accountability can help you finally get off that hamster wheel.Tune in and let’s talk about building a lifestyle that lasts.

Building Consistency: How Early Wake-Ups Become Non-Negotiable
It’s my first day back to work after summer break, and let me tell you… that 5 a.m. alarm hit hard. The house was quiet, it was still pitch black outside, and I tossed and turned all night before finally dragging myself out of bed. Here’s the truth: I don’t wake up excited. I don’t jump out of bed saying, “This is so much fun.” I wake up because I’ve built a habit, and honoring that commitment to myself matters. It’s never easy, but over time, consistency turns into automatic. Getting dressed, getting in the car, showing up at the gym… it’s become a non-negotiable part of who I am.In this episode, I’m sharing what it really looks like to get back to routine after summer, why accountability was so key for me when I first started, and how you can make those uncomfortable habits stick. If you’re starting something new this fall, whether it’s fitness, nutrition, or just getting up a little earlier, this is your reminder that it won’t always feel easy, but it will get easier if you keep showing up.Tune in, and let’s talk about turning hard things into habits that last.

Vacation Without the Guilt: How to Enjoy Yourself and Still Stay on Track
I just got back from a two-week vacation, cruise, Florida beaches, all the food, all the fun. And you know what? I came home only a pound up from when I left. No crash diets. No “undoing.” Just living in alignment with the habits that make me feel my best. For years, I would diet hard before a trip, overindulge while I was away, and then spiral when I got back. This time, I leaned into my lifestyle, movement, sleep, hydration, protein, and allowed myself to enjoy desserts, snacks, and slow mornings without guilt. The result? I came back rested, happy, and confident… not starting over.In this episode, I’m sharing exactly how I’ve redefined what “fun” means on vacation, how I approach food and fitness while I’m away, and why you don’t have to fear the scale when you get back.If you’ve ever worried about losing progress when you travel, this episode is for you.Tune in, and let me show you how to make vacation work with your lifestyle instead of against it.

Is it Hunger? Or Just a Habit?
In today’s episode, I unpack a real moment from my own life coming home from a family event, not hungry, but still reaching for food out of habit. It got me thinking about how often we eat or behave a certain way not because we need to, but because it’s what we’ve always done.I share how awareness is the first step to breaking these patterns and why building a new habit—like going for a walk after events, isn’t about punishment but about replacing what no longer serves me. I also touch on the importance of accountability, and how asking for support (from a partner, a kid, or a coach) is part of the work, not a weakness. If you’ve ever found yourself on autopilot with food or routines that leave you feeling “off,” this one’s for you.
