You're Not a Rose, You're a Daisy. The Thorn of Comparison.

from Planted on Purpose: Conversations for today’s Busy, Christian Mom where holistic health replaces burnout and joy reclaimed by planting faith, growing purpose, & cultivating an intentional life. · host Aurie Riley

Hey Friends! If you missed the last free workshop on 5 powerful mindset shifts necessary for growth, my next workshop is THIS Saturday at 1PM CST. You can sign up to join us right on my homepage. www.sonshinepaperie.com Bring your Bible! Today's episode is one I think we all need to hear. On repeat. We have a terrible habit of comparing ourselves to the women around us and when we do that, we never measure up. It highlights what we think are flaws or shortcomings and it blinds us to the uniqueness of our own strengths and capabilities. Lady friend, you may not be a rose- the popular girl in the garden- you may be a daisy- the sweet and subtle but always dependable bloomer. 1 Corinthians has a lot to say about this and that's what we're reading today. Go out and use your own unique gifting to serve others! The variety of flowers in a garden is what enriches its beauty and interest. It makes it sustainable and healthy. So the body of Christ works the same way.
