Duryodhan is able to pressurize his father into agreeing to invite the Paandav brothers for gambling. Dhrutraashtr orders his minister Vidur to go to Indraprasth for inviting Yuddhishthir and brothers. Vidur protests but finally agrees to go. Yuddhishthir is surprised to receive the invitation because he sees the evil in gambling. He is not inclined to play but he is bound by his commitment to never refuse an invitation whether for war or gambling. Paandav brothers depart for Hastinapur. On the way, Vidur briefs Yuddhishthir about the dirty game planned by Shakuni and Duryodhan.
