NOTE:- There are a lot of rules regarding what qualifying wealth zakat has to be calculated on & to who, how & how much has to be donated, the intricacies of which were not possible for me to get into in a brief 5-6 min episode. I would request everyone to do their own research before calculating & paying their zakat & to who & where they donate, so that we can be true to our zakat obligations to the best of our ability.
