ZAKES BANTWINI – MUSICIAN

Zakes Bantwini (born Zakhele Madida) is a South African musician, record producer and record executive whose work include producing L’vovo Derrango‘s debut album. He founded an independent record company, Mayonie Produktions and is credited with discovering Durban Kwaito star, L’vovo Derrango. Zakes Bantwini gained further acclaim for his collaboration with DJ Black Coffee in the hit song “Juju” and with the release of his album, The Fake Book and Real Book: My Music Bible.
