We can be quick to notice our own shortcomings while forgetting how lovingly God sees us. Before today comes to a close, let’s pause together and remember that His heart towards His children is full of love, delight and compassion. Scripture (NIV) “The LORD your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.” — Zephaniah 3:17 Heavenly Father, thank You that Your love for us does not depend on whether today has been easy or difficult. Thank You that You remain close, faithful and full of compassion. When we are tempted to measure ourselves by our mistakes, remind us instead of Your grace and Your unfailing love. Let Your peace settle deeply within our hearts this evening. Teach us to rest, not in our own efforts, but in the confidence that we are loved, known and safely held by You. Fear will not win, because the Lord rejoices over His people with faithful love. May the Lord fill your evening with His peace, quiet your heart and remind you that you are deeply loved by Him.
