Before we drift into sleep, before tomorrow begins to fill our thoughts, we can rest in the certainty that we are deeply loved by God. Let’s spend these few quiet moments together, opening His Word and placing ourselves safely into His faithful care. Zephaniah 3:17 (NIV) “The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.” What a wonderful picture of God’s heart. He is not watching over us reluctantly. He delights in His people. His love is constant, His mercy is abundant and His care never grows weary. Even while we sleep, His faithful presence surrounds us, holding tomorrow securely in His hands. Father, thank You for every blessing You have quietly poured into this day. Thank You for Your patience, Your kindness and Your unfailing love that has carried us through every moment. Lord Jesus, tonight we place our homes, our families and our future into Your loving hands. Bring healing to those who are unwell, comfort to every lonely heart, peace to those whose minds are restless and gentle sleep to everyone who is weary. Help us to wake tomorrow with renewed hope and fresh confidence in Your goodness. Holy Spirit, fill every home with Your peace, calm every anxious thought and remind us that nothing can separate us from the loving care of our heavenly Father. Across the world, from Hobart to Tauranga, from Singapore to Nashville and Lima, may every listener rest peacefully, knowing they are loved, protected and held securely in the presence of Christ.
