Indonesian entrepreneur, Zhafira Loebis, started Babyloania with her husband Arlo Erdaka Temenggung in 2014 when they were pregnant with their first child. She was making a list of baby items and equipment she wanted to buy for her firstborn with her husband when they realized how expensive everything was.  This problem prompted them to look into starting Babyloania which began as a baby equipment rental business serving other parents in areas such as Jakarta, Depok, Tangerang dan Bekasi. Babyloania has been quite the success story in Indonesia; Zhafira has been featured on CNN and CNBC Indonesia for not just her inventiveness but also her openness to share what she knows with other parents and businesses. Interestingly, Zhafira and her husband have also started collaborating with their competitors - some 126 of them. She has since started two other businesses as a result of starting Babyloania and she shares some of her best marketing and hiring strategies in this power-packed episode!
