近日发表在《自然·衰老》上的一项研究表明，移植年轻小鼠的肠道菌群给老年小鼠，能抵消小鼠大脑中与衰老相关的特定改变。来自爱尔兰科克大学APC微生物组研究所的研究人员通过粪菌移植的方式将年轻小鼠的肠道菌群移植给老年小鼠，发现老年小鼠的部分大脑和免疫系统功能得到了恢复。研究人员认为，来自年轻个体的微生物群落可能对老龄宿主产生有益的影响。
