Today we talk about the 11th hour adjournment of the case brought by AL-HAQ against Richard Marles for documents pertaining to defence exports to Israel in the Federal Court. And we look at some of the lesser known Australian companies that are sole-source suppliers to the global F-35 program... including Israel. And yes, that picture is one of them.... Defence has announced increased private investment to bolster the multi billion dollar defence budget. We look into the Advanced Capabilities Investment Fund and some of the companies poised and ready to take up the cash cow. It becomes blindingly obvious that defence decisions are all about the money, and not for "national security" as they would have you believe.

A couple of hours of spin to say not a whole lot, but we did it so you don't have to. $53 billion more bucks for defence companies and $53 billion less for the public.

We talk about the arrest of Ben Roberts Smith on allegations of war crimes, the government seeming to care more about maintaining the authority in the conduct of atrocities rather than the atrocity themselves. And how war is the theft of childhood.

Jumping off of our conversation about the war economy last week, we have a bit of a rave about the tech industry and how war and defence contracts are the only thing propping it up... making more billionaires by the minute and training systems to kill.

This week we discuss the business as usual that is the US empire; regardless of who's at the healm, it commits the same atrocities but change how they spin it. And the Australian Government goes hand over fist to please them. This is what the war economy is.We also look at what will be the final Defence Major Projects Audit, cos when you're 57 collective years and tens of billions of dollars in the red on delivering your promises on more efficient ways of killing people... just stop the audits so no one can keep track.
