After Church Coffee

After Church Coffee is back, this month exploring the fifth Unitarian Universalist principle: the right of conscience and the use of the democratic process within our congregations and in society at large.

Dorothy Runnicles has lived a lot in her 93 years. In this episode, we hear about her childhood in London in the Depression era, where men physically fought for work and where she learned about the indignity of poverty. We also hear how her wartime experiences shaped her later peace activism.
