The day after America's 250th birthday, we turn to Psalm 72 to ask a bigger question: what would it look like to live under a truly perfect King? This message traces the ache behind every patriotic song to the one Kingdom that can actually satisfy it — pointing us away from cynicism and idolatry, and toward prayer, worship, and allegiance to Jesus, the King every earthly kingdom was pointing to all along.

Weakness is hard to admit — especially when the world around you runs on credentials and performance. But Psalm 41 doesn't let us hide.
