The day after America's 250th birthday, we turn to Psalm 72 to ask a bigger question: what would it look like to live under a truly perfect King? This message traces the ache behind every patriotic song to the one Kingdom that can actually satisfy it — pointing us away from cynicism and idolatry, and toward prayer, worship, and allegiance to Jesus, the King every earthly kingdom was pointing to all along.

Weakness is hard to admit — especially when the world around you runs on credentials and performance. But Psalm 41 doesn't let us hide. It invites us into honest, even ugly prayer, and walks us from lament all the way to victory.In this week's sermon, we dig into what it means to lay hold of God's goodness when you're at your weakest — whether that's poverty, sickness, betrayal, or being quietly pushed to the margins.
