When I entered this forest in 1992 my heart wasn't focused on the present. The calling was to put myself in 2040. How often do we put ourselves in a position of exploration and never take the time to see what the invisible visionaries put into play decades before your arrival? Can you spot the fingerprint of one who foresaw longevity?

Nice and bad. No need to pop in any Biblical characters. The heart is seeking something tangible. To touch, smell, taste, talk with and ghost. We forget that nature is tangible. Dreams and ambitions are tangible. Connection, belief, hope, forgiveness, faith and exploration. We are craving something tangible and will make a choice to be nice or bad about getting our hands on it.

So many of us base our everything on the seasons pounded into the face of a calendar. That is the furthest from your truth. Seasonal changes are every day! Call them what you want. Reinvent a season. Just know you are going to change today and every day that which follows.

Does God show up every morning with a fresh cup of hot coffee? How is it prepared? Black and white or all danced up like a true expression from Starbucks? Looking at us trying to humanize God! Are we one of Gods or is the Great Creator one of us? The preacher people claim it's a personal relationship. Does that make it ok to bling up your coffee? Always stronger than the scent of morning Joe.

Rarely do you hear anyone talking about having hope unless they're hoping for a good seat at Taylor Swifts wedding.  That's called selfish hope.  Take the time to ask the silver haired people about hope and you'll learn things your parents kept from you.  Hope... we lack it in it's truest shape and foundation of outreach.

No matter what day it is, we've been gifted with another twenty-four hours to sit right here. Each of us bring different stories, have different favorite songs and ambitions and in reality, none of us have anything in common. I can still hear my parents saying, "I don't care what you do! Just go outside and play!" Sitting right here. Human trust at a low point. But somehow, we know we are loved, forgiven and shown newer ways to outreach.

God doesn't share instant answers. It makes sense. It's more meaningful if we're part of the process, journey and experience. A tough cookie to bite into. We are the generation of digital replies within seconds. What kind of world would it be if God did instantly supply our demands? It would become an addiction. Knowing this, does that mean Chat GPT, Alexa and Seri are modern day Greek like Gods? We are witnessing a new age of mythology.

In radio, we save our airchecks. It's the best way to measure personal growth and outreach. Why don't other businesses do the same for their employees? People everywhere talk out of tune, they 've made bad behavior the new cool and bosses won't hold anyone accountable because it would mean going through the process of hiring again. Aircheck your staff and win!

Trust, faith and hope... None of which can be purchased from Amazon. It aint coming via a big van and a person sporting a blue and black vest with a candy-coated plastic bathroom mirror smile within its embroidery. Happiness isn't sitting in a box at the front door. It's an Easter egg from even a bigger taker caught up in a wave of fad and culture. I do believe that maybe one day following God will become cool again. The paths we walk. The trails we carve. It's not the best of the best but it's better than what we had yesterday.

Separated at the generations. A captain going down with its ship isn't going to happen with today's younger workforce. It's not in their DNA. So, businesses are flooded with middle aged and older adults consumed with the idea that a captain doesn't quit. No matter how poorly you're treated a work, a captain goes down with his or her ship.
