Artists and Emotions: Reflecting on 2024

It has been a little while since the Artists and Emotions podcast was around. The last episode aired in August of this past year and then we went on a four-month hiatus. 2025 is going to be a big year not just for me (Cody Alexander Curtis) but also for the Artists and Emotions podcast as a whole. In this episode, I discuss some of the revelations I have had over the past few months, the toxicity of hustle and burnout within the entertainment industry, and my plan to combat it in the new year. I want to say a big thank you to everyone who has been on board with this show from the beginning and to those who love spreading the message of mental health and rest in such an emotionally and physically exhausting world. Welcome to the Artists and Emotions Podcast. Let's make the new year right. Day Jobs, The American Educational System in Georgia and Working Together on The Salt and Pepper - Victoria Doctor

This week I have actor, teacher and overall creative @victoriandoctor as my guest. This weeks episode is rather special because Victoria and I at the end of February were cast in the film @saltandpeppershortfilm and it was truly one of the best on set experiences we have ever had. We dive into that, our experiences as actors with side jobs, what we want to get out of this career & we also dive a little bit into the world of academia and talk about our nations current educational system and how Victoria operates in that. This episode was very eye opening for me and I hope it holds true for everyone who listens as well.
