    Aldershroud (Original Mix) [lc95 6]

I wondered what an ambient-ish soundscape would soundlike with some percussion. I think it sounds pretty good! Name and sound inspired somewhat by a region in the novel I'm writing at the moment: the Aldershroud.

    Evolution of Patterns [lc88 500]

Originally I was going to write an ambient track. I failed 🙃

    Periheilon [la64 6]

A really belting progressive trance tune that I'm really proud of. Enjoy!

A tune written for driving. Inspired by the road through Glen Dionard.

    Sruthanna [lc43 3]

Given the current crackdown on unlicensed music use by Twitch Streamers, I thought I'd start writing some tunes that can be used for streams. Here's the first. The song name is Irish, meaning 'Streams', and is pronounced 'Sru-hanna'. Streamers! This song is released under a Creative Commons Attribution license - You can freely use this song in your streams as long as you provide attribution. An on-screen tracklist listing the artist and track title is fine. You should only use a bot listing the track name and artist if your chat is also displayed on your VoD, as chat will eventually be deleted and viewers will no longer be able to find this song. You can shout out each time the song is played too, if you like, but that is probably infeasible for most.

    Isometric [la40 7]

I started writing this song a few years ago, just using the sounds on the blank canvas of silence. I had a draft up here a long time, but recently had the flash of inspiration I needed to put together a finished piece from the palette I'd built up. I quite like it!

    Asteconn - Colony [lb23 3 600]

So I wrote a theme song for a particularly awesome Elite Dangerous streamer: http://www.twitch.tv/helloitskolo. Tried to match the general vibe of Elite's soundtrack with the mixture of orchestral and electronic instruments.

  13. 8

    Low Earth Orbit [la93 3]

This is the one I'm working on at the moment - this draft starts and stops on a repeat as I'm listening to it endlessly at the moment. Download to come once I've created a more progressive mix, Enjoy for now!

  14. 7

    Asteconn - Paragram [la90]

So I have been listening to a lot of ambient and chill out stuff at work recently. Seeing how well the genre translates to my atmo pad and suspended chords that just seem to happen. Not really pushing the envelope too much with the instruments, but it's nice to attempt something different. I think my next track will be even more progressive and ambient - something that sounds more stellar. Watch this space!

  15. 6

    Cement [la52 2]

There's not really much of a story behind this song: Every so often I'm goofing about in the studio and things just fall into place quite well! I'm particularly happy with the TB-303 acid inspired synth I threw together in Wasp XT that pretty much forms the backing for most of the song. The name is mega-inspired though. I'm just waiting for someone to drop it into their set and realize the pun :3

  16. 5

    Untitled la47

A track born very much of perseverance, I've been playing about with basslines and melodies for a few weeks now but nothing has really clicked until I started work on this song. It still needs a name, no doubt I'll find some inspiration soon - or I might be lazy and autogenerate something that sounds cool. In any case, I've experimented with some new patches and created a few myself for this song, I hope you all enjoy!

  17. 4

    Untitled la36

So recently I've been listening to some ambient stuff whilst playing Elite: Dangerous. I thought I'd write something that also fits into that box.

  18. 3

    Drammen [la28 2]

I was in Norway for a while during March and April, and I was working on a music whilst I was there. Here is that music! Enjoy. Drammen is the town I was staying in - apparently quite large for Norwegian standards, and this song is as much about the journey to get there as well as the town itself.

  19. 2

    Dawn Light [la22 4]

So I had a session with my good chum @Phalanx1 a couple of days ago, bashing out some beats and fiddling with levels. I decided that I would throw some pads on a backing off some sort and see where it went, and here we are. Pretty chuffed with how this sounds actually.

  20. 1

    Untitled la10 6

Just messing about with sounds and samples. This song is kinda similar to my last (Elan, which you should listen to and download if you haven't already) as it uses a lot of very similar sounds. Not that that worries me too much though, it sounds nice enough. This is still a draft, as I'm not totally happy with the mastering and melody yet.

    One More Whisper [L918]

A nice chilled out track I wrote around a long sample of some rain

  22. -1

    Elan [l998 10]

Sometimes just messing around will yield some awesome results. This is the 6th attempt I made with some percussion and a bassline that I created, coming together over the last few days. We can blame the Serum VST for how this sounds, and I am very happy with how it's turned out.

  23. -2

    An Taistealaí [L980 8]

I've had the nucleus for this song in my mind for a few weeks now. Finally managed to nail it down in a form that I'm very happy with. This one is a ballaeric inspired piece, especially with the supersaw-y arpeggio. Enjoy!
