Knowing God's will begins with knowing God's heart. When we trust Him completely and walk with Him daily, He faithfully leads us one step at a time.

Words are powerful. And sometimes it seems like we can't control them. But one of the goals of Proverbs, is to help us know and understand the power of our words. and how we use our words when talking to one another.

Jesus rose early—before daylight—after what was likely one of the busiest days of His ministry. He woke up early to meet with the Father, Simon and the others slept in. When they finally woke up, they weren’t looking for intimacy with Jesus; they were looking for Him so they could keep the crowds happy. Simon wanted to ride the momentum of public excitement more than he wanted the presence of Christ.

Authority and authority figures can stir up all kinds of feelings and emotions. But when it comes to Jesus and His authority, we should find comfort. And in one day we see Jesus' authority on display in 3 different ways.

This scene of Jesus being baptized is here for us…to learn something from Him. Jesus wants to show us something, not with His words, but with His actions. Jesus is showing us who He is and how we are to follow Him.

Mark is a fast-paced book of the Bible that takes us by the hand to show us how Jesus changed the world!

We are busier than we ever have been before. There are all these things calling for our attention. But in the busyness of our lives, we can forget what is most important.

Empty is usually something negative. We don't like the feeling of emptiness in our lives. And for some, we spend our lives trying to fill that emptiness. But an empty tomb is good news! Because Jesus will satisfy every desire of our lives!

Palm Sunday reminds us that the greatest danger to the human soul is not what’s happening around us, but what’s happening inside us. The crowd shouted “Hosanna — save us now!” But by Friday they shouted “Crucify Him.”

Forgiveness seems like a great idea until we have to forgive. And just as we daily depend on God for what we need, physically and spiritually, we need to depend on God daily for forgiveness.

Give us this day our daily bread, can feel like a prayer that we pray before a meal, or even pointless because we have such abundance in our lives. But this part of the Lord's prayer will challenge how we live, and our belief about who is in control.

Jesus continues His teaching on the components of prayer to help guide us in our own prayers to our Heavenly Father.

Praying is one of the most transformative practices in the life of a Christian, but all too often it feels intimidating for many reasons. But Jesus in Matthew 6, gives us some gaurdrails to help us when we pray!

Anything that God creates, the enemy corrupts. God created work and rest, but the enemy would love to corrupt them. We need to have the right perspective when it comes to our work and our rest.

Praise isn’t just a side note in the life of a believer; it is central to the life of a believer. The Bible talks a lot about prasie making it clear that responding to God with worship is NOT optional but foundational. Praise is the most natural and necessary response to a God who is still speaking.

Paul tells the church in Corinth that generosity comes from grace. And he uses the churches in Macedonia as an example. Our generosity should never be based on circumstances but always on God's grace!

The Bible is not just informative; it is transformative. We know that the Bible isn't just a book full of history or stories; the Bible changes lives! But for the Word to change us, we need to be slow to speak, quick to listen, slow to anger, and be humble to receive it!

Things can change over time. Technology, our bodies, and even language. But one thing that hasn't changed is what following Jesus looks like.

The gift of Myrrh points us to Christ’s suffering and victory and calls us to trust Him when we feel crushed.

The second gift brought by the wise men was Frankincense. Why? For what purpose? And how can I apply this in my life today?

Gifts are a big part of Christmas! And even though, as Christians, we know that it's not about the gifts, we see gifts being given to Jesus at the first Christmas. While the gifts are odd at first glance, they show us that Jesus is a King like no other.

God has uniquely equipped you to make an impact in the church, in your home, and in the world around you. You don’t have to have it all figured out or feel qualified; just be available. God created you for more. Discover the gift He’s placed inside you and live out your purpose.

There is a war going on inside you between your flesh and the Spirit. Your flesh will lead you to be legalistic and lead you to sin, while the Spirit will lead you to produce fruit, give you freedom, and live a life that reflects God.

The Holy Spirit meets you where you are.

Life can be hard at times. Living in this world can be difficult. But God never intended us to be alone. That's why He gave us the Holy Spirit.

There is a lot of mystery surrounding the Holy Spirit. Is the Holy Spirit a force, a dove, fire, or wind? Or is the Holy Spirit a Divine person who is part of the Trinity?

God is a faithful God, and as we launch into a new season, we will continue to see Him be faithful!

Conflict is inevitable. But as followers of Christ, we are to handle conflict with the mindset of Christ. We will look at the story of reconciliation between Peter and Jesus as an example of how were are to navigate conflict.

Parenting is hard work, but as Christian parents, we are called to be intentional in passing on our faith. Parenting isn't just about raising kids; it's about raising disciples. And we see this played out in the life of Timothy.

For generations the people of God have been drifting from God. And here in Chapter 9, we read the longest prayer in all of the Bible. It’s a prayer of grief over sin that has piled up over time. But no matter how much has piled up in their lives God was gracious to them. And the same is true for us today!
