(The Late Evangelist Billy Mitchell) Freedom Is Not Free

The late Evangelist Billy Mitchell, formerly of Jamestown, TN, preaches during a Revival Meeting, some years ago.  The song following the message, is from the late Pastor and Mrs. Buck Ledford, formerly of Maryville, TN.John 8:28-36 KJB: 28   Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.29   And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.30   As he spake these words, many believed on him.31   Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;32   And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.33   They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?34   Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.35   And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.36   If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

The Judgment Seat Of Christ (Pastor Johnny Jones)

Pastor Johnny Jones, of the Turkey Ridge Independent Baptist Church, Oceana, WV, preaches during the 2022 Winter Jubilee, held at the Old Paths Baptist Church, Weyers Cave, VA.Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 KJB: 13   Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.14   For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.2 Corinthians 5:6-11 KJB: 6   Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:7   (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)8   We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.9   Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.10   For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.11   Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.1 Corinthians 3:10-15 KJB: 10   According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.11   For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.12   Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;13   Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.14   If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.15   If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

The Secret, Of Spiritual Stability (Pastor Dale Massengale)

Pastor Dale Massengale, of the Pleasant View Baptist Church, McQuady, KY, sings and preaches during the 2022 Winter Jubilee, held at the Old Paths Baptist Church, Weyers Cave, VA.1 Corinthians 15:58 KJB: 58   Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.Acts 20:17-27 KJB: 17   And from Miletus he sent to Ephesus, and called the elders of the church.18   And when they were come to him, he said unto them, Ye know, from the first day that I came into Asia, after what manner I have been with you at all seasons,19   Serving the LORD with all humility of mind, and with many tears, and temptations, which befell me by the lying in wait of the Jews:20   And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publickly, and from house to house,21   Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.22   And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there:23   Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me.24   But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.25   And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, shall see my face no more.26   Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men.27   For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.

GoingWrong, From The Right Place (Evangelist David Wells)

Evangelist David Wells, out of the Pleasant View Baptist Church, McQuady, KY, preaches during the 2022 Winter Jubilee, held at the Old Paths Baptist Church, Weyers Cave, VA.Proverbs 5:1-14 KJB: 1   My son, attend unto my wisdom, and bow thine ear to my understanding:2   That thou mayest regard discretion, and that thy lips may keep knowledge.3   For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil:4   But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword.5   Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on hell.6   Lest thou shouldest ponder the path of life, her ways are moveable, that thou canst not know them.7   Hear me now therefore, O ye children, and depart not from the words of my mouth.8   Remove thy way far from her, and come not nigh the door of her house:9   Lest thou give thine honour unto others, and thy years unto the cruel:10   Lest strangers be filled with thy wealth; and thy labours be in the house of a stranger;11   And thou mourn at the last, when thy flesh and thy body are consumed,12   And say, How have I hated instruction, and my heart despised reproof;13   And have not obeyed the voice of my teachers, nor inclined mine ear to them that instructed me!14   I was almost in all evil in the midst of the congregation and assembly.

The Kind Of Preacher, Jesus Is (Evangelist Jimmy Moize)

Evangelist Jimmy Moize, out of the Old Paths Bible Baptist Church, Lyles, TN, preaches during the 2022 Winter Jubilee, held at the Old Paths Baptist Church, Weyers Cave, VA.Luke 12:13-21 KJB: 13   And one of the company said unto him, Master, speak to my brother, that he divide the inheritance with me.14   And he said unto him, Man, who made me a judge or a divider over you?15   And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.16   And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully:17   And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits?18   And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods.19   And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.20   But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?21   So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.

The Spirit Of God (Brother Josh Calloway)

Brother Josh Calloway, out of the Pleasant View Baptist Church, McQuady, KY, preaches during the 2022 Winter Jubilee, held at the Old Paths Baptist Church, Weyers Cave, VA.Romans 8:1-14 KJB: 1   There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.2   For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.3   For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:4   That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.5   For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.6   For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.7   Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.8   So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.9   But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.10   And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.11   But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.12   Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.13   For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.14   For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

The Power Of Unity (Pastor Dale Massengale)

Pastor Dale Massengale, of the Pleasant View Baptist Church, McQuady, KY, preaches during the 2022 Winter Jubilee, held at the Old Paths Baptist Church, Weyers Cave, VA.Genesis 11:1-9 KJB: 1   And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech.2   And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there.3   And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them thoroughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter.4   And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.5   And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded.6   And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.7   Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.8   So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city.9   Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.

While He Was Yet Young (Brother Josh Calloway)

Brother Josh Calloway, out of the Pleasant View Baptist Church, McQuady, KY, preaches during the 2022 Winter Jubilee, held at the Old Paths Baptist Church, Weyers Cave, VA.2 Chronicles 34:1-8 KJB: 1   Josiah was eight years old when he began to reign, and he reigned in Jerusalem one and thirty years.2   And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, and walked in the ways of David his father, and declined neither to the right hand, nor to the left.3   For in the eighth year of his reign, while he was yet young, he began to seek after the God of David his father: and in the twelfth year he began to purge Judah and Jerusalem from the high places, and the groves, and the carved images, and the molten images.4   And they brake down the altars of Baalim in his presence; and the images, that were on high above them, he cut down; and the groves, and the carved images, and the molten images, he brake in pieces, and made dust of them, and strowed it upon the graves of them that had sacrificed unto them.5   And he burnt the bones of the priests upon their altars, and cleansed Judah and Jerusalem.6   And so did he in the cities of Manasseh, and Ephraim, and Simeon, even unto Naphtali, with their mattocks round about.7   And when he had broken down the altars and the groves, and had beaten the graven images into powder, and cut down all the idols throughout all the land of Israel, he returned to Jerusalem.8   Now in the eighteenth year of his reign, when he had purged the land, and the house, he sent Shaphan the son of Azaliah, and Maaseiah the governor of the city, and Joah the son of Joahaz the recorder, to repair the house of the LORD his God.

A Christmas, To Remember (Evangelist David Wells)

Evangelist David Wells, out of the Pleasant View Baptist Church, McQuady, KY, preaches during the 2022 Winter Jubilee, held at the Old Paths Baptist Church, Weyers Cave, VA.Luke 1:5-47 KJB: 5   THERE was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth.6   And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.7   And they had no child, because that Elisabeth was barren, and they both were now well stricken in years.8   And it came to pass, that while he executed the priest's office before God in the order of his course,9   According to the custom of the priest's office, his lot was to burn incense when he went into the temple of the Lord.10   And the whole multitude of the people were praying without at the time of incense.11   And there appeared unto him an angel of the Lord standing on the right side of the altar of incense.12   And when Zacharias saw him, he was troubled, and fear fell upon him.13   But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John.14   And thou shalt have joy and gladness; and many shall rejoice at his birth.15   For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb.16   And many of the children of Israel shall he turn to the Lord their God.17   And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.18   And Zacharias said unto the angel, Whereby shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife well stricken in years.19   And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to shew thee these glad tidings.20   And, behold, thou shalt be dumb, and not able to speak, until the day that these things shall be performed, because thou believest not my words, which shall be fulfilled in their season.21   And the people waited for Zacharias, and marvelled that he tarried so long in the temple.22   And when he came out, he could not speak unto them: and they perceived that he had seen a vision in the temple: for he beckoned unto them, and remained speechless.23   And it came to pass, that, as soon as the days of his ministration were accomplished, he departed to his own house.24   And after those days his wife Elisabeth conceived, and hid herself five months, saying,25   Thus hath the Lord dealt with me in the days wherein he looked on me, to take away my reproach among men.26   And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,27   To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary.28   And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.29   And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.30   And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.31   And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.32   He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:33   And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.34   Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?35   And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.36   And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren.37   For with God nothing shall be impossible.38   And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.39   And Mary arose in those days, and went into the hill country with haste, into a city of Juda;40   And entered into the house of Zacharias, and saluted Elisabeth.41   And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost:42   And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.43   And whence is this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?44   For, lo, as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy.45   And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.46   And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord,47   And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.

(Brother Keith Voyles) The Trouble With Time

Assistant Pastor Keith Voyles, of the Pleasant View Baptist Church, McQuady, KY, preaches on Wednesday evening, December 28, 2022.Psalm 90:1-12 KJB: 1   Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations.2   Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.3   Thou turnest man to destruction; and sayest, Return, ye children of men.4   For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.5   Thou carriest them away as with a flood; they are as a sleep: in the morning they are like grass which groweth up.6   In the morning it flourisheth, and groweth up; in the evening it is cut down, and withereth.7   For we are consumed by thine anger, and by thy wrath are we troubled.8   Thou hast set our iniquities before thee, our secret sins in the light of thy countenance.9   For all our days are passed away in thy wrath: we spend our years as a tale that is told.10   The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.11   Who knoweth the power of thine anger? even according to thy fear, so is thy wrath.12   So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.

And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God.5   And now send men to Joppa, and call for one Simon, whose surname is Peter:6   He lodgeth with one Simon a tanner, whose house is by the sea side: he shall tell thee what thou oughtest to do.

(Brother Caleb Ogburn) The Firey Furnace Boys

Brother Caleb Ogburn, exhorts on Tuesday evening, March 22, 2022, at the Pleasant View Baptist Church, McQuady, KY.Daniel 3 KJB: 1   Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof six cubits: he set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon.2   Then Nebuchadnezzar the king sent to gather together the princes, the governors, and the captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, to come to the dedication of the image which Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.3   Then the princes, the governors, and captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, were gathered together unto the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up.4   Then an herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded, O people, nations, and languages,5   That at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up:6   And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.7   Therefore at that time, when all the people heard the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and all kinds of musick, all the people, the nations, and the languages, fell down and worshipped the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.8   Wherefore at that time certain Chaldeans came near, and accused the Jews.9   They spake and said to the king Nebuchadnezzar, O king, live for ever.10   Thou, O king, hast made a decree, that every man that shall hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, shall fall down and worship the golden image:11   And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth, that he should be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.12   There are certain Jews whom thou hast set over the affairs of the province of Babylon, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego; these men, O king, have not regarded thee: they serve not thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.13   Then Nebuchadnezzar in his rage and fury commanded to bring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Then they brought these men before the king.14   Nebuchadnezzar spake and said unto them, Is it true, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, do not ye serve my gods, nor worship the golden image which I have set up?15   Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made; well: but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that God that shall deliver you out of my hands?16   Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter.17   If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.18   But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.19   Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated.20   And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace.21   Then these men were bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.22   Therefore because the king's commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flames of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.23   And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.24   Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king.25   He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.26   Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, came forth of the midst of the fire.27   And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king's counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.28   Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king's word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.29   Therefore I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort.30   Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, in the province of Babylon.

(Pastor Dale Massengale) A Will That Is Good Toward Men

Pastor Dale Massengale, of the Pleasant View Baptist Church, McQuady, KY, preaches on Sunday morning, December 24 (Christmas Eve), 2017.  Before and after the message, we'll enjoy some good singing.Luke 2:1-20 KJB: 1   And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be taxed.2   (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.)3   And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city.4   And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:)5   To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.6   And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.7   And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.8   And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.9   And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.10   And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.11   For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.12   And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.13   And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,14   Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.15   And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us.16   And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger.17   And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child.18   And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds.19   But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart.20   And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them.

(Brother Keith Voyles) The Attack On Marriage

Assistant Pastor Keith Voyles, of the Pleasant View Baptist Church, McQuady, KY, teaches Sunday School on December 18, 2022.1 Corinthians 5:1,7:1-9 KJB: 1   It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife.1   Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman.2   Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.3   Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband.4   The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife.5   Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency.6   But I speak this by permission, and not of commandment.7   For I would that all men were even as I myself. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that.8   I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, It is good for them if they abide even as I.9   But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn.

(Pastor Dale Massengale) Adding Brotherly Kindness To Godliness, Part Six

Pastor Dale Massengale, of the Pleasant View Baptist Church, McQuady, KY, preaches on Sunday evening, December 11, 2022.2 Peter 1:1-14 KJB: 1   Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:2   Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,3   According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:4   Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.5   And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;6   And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;7   And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.8   For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.9   But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.10   Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:11   For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.12   Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth.13   Yea, I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting you in remembrance;14   Knowing that shortly I must put off this my tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ hath shewed me.

(Pastor Buster Mullins) A Favorite Psalm, For A Fainting Soul

Pastor Buster Mullins, of the Little Rock Baptist Church, Glade Spring, VA, preaches during the December, 2022 Revival Meeting, held at the Pleasant View Baptist Church, McQuady, KY.Psalm 27 KJB: 1   The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?2   When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.3   Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.4   One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.5   For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.6   And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.7   Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and answer me.8   When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek.9   Hide not thy face far from me; put not thy servant away in anger: thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation.10   When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up.11   Teach me thy way, O LORD, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies.12   Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty.13   I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.14   Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

Pastor Dale Massengale, of the Pleasant View Baptist Church, McQuady, KY, preaches on Sunday evening, November 20, 2022.Daniel 1:8-16 KJB: 8   But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.9   Now God had brought Daniel into favour and tender love with the prince of the eunuchs.10   And the prince of the eunuchs said unto Daniel, I fear my lord the king, who hath appointed your meat and your drink: for why should he see your faces worse liking than the children which are of your sort? then shall ye make me endanger my head to the king.11   Then said Daniel to Melzar, whom the prince of the eunuchs had set over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah,12   Prove thy servants, I beseech thee, ten days; and let them give us pulse to eat, and water to drink.13   Then let our countenances be looked upon before thee, and the countenance of the children that eat of the portion of the king's meat: and as thou seest, deal with thy servants.14   So he consented to them in this matter, and proved them ten days.15   And at the end of ten days their countenances appeared fairer and fatter in flesh than all the children which did eat the portion of the king's meat.16   Thus Melzar took away the portion of their meat, and the wine that they should drink; and gave them pulse.

(Brother Keith Voyles) I Am The Door

Assistant Pastor Keith Voyles, of the Pleasant View Baptist Church, McQuady, KY, teaches Sunday School on November 20, 2022.John 10:1-14 KJB: 1   Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.2   But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.3   To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.4   And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.5   And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.6   This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them.7   Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.8   All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.9   I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.10   The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.11   I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.12   But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.13   The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.14   I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.

(Brother Mike Dunn) Why We Need Revival

Brother Mike Dunn, out of the Mineral Park Baptist Church, McDonald, TN, preaches there on Wednesday evening, April 8, 2026.Nehemiah 1:2-4,2:1-16 KJB: 2   That Hanani, one of my brethren, came, he and certain men of Judah; and I asked them concerning the Jews that had escaped, which were left of the captivity, and concerning Jerusalem.3   And they said unto me, The remnant that are left of the captivity there in the province are in great affliction and reproach: the wall of Jerusalem also is broken down, and the gates thereof are burned with fire.4   And it came to pass, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned certain days, and fasted, and prayed before the God of heaven,1   And it came to pass in the month Nisan, in the twentieth year of Artaxerxes the king, that wine was before him: and I took up the wine, and gave it unto the king. Now I had not been beforetime sad in his presence.2   Wherefore the king said unto me, Why is thy countenance sad, seeing thou art not sick? this is nothing else but sorrow of heart. Then I was very sore afraid,3   And said unto the king, Let the king live for ever: why should not my countenance be sad, when the city, the place of my fathers' sepulchres, lieth waste, and the gates thereof are consumed with fire?4   Then the king said unto me, For what dost thou make request? So I prayed to the God of heaven.5   And I said unto the king, If it please the king, and if thy servant have found favour in thy sight, that thou wouldest send me unto Judah, unto the city of my fathers' sepulchres, that I may build it.6   And the king said unto me, (the queen also sitting by him,) For how long shall thy journey be? and when wilt thou return? So it pleased the king to send me; and I set him a time.7   Moreover I said unto the king, If it please the king, let letters be given me to the governors beyond the river, that they may convey me over till I come into Judah;8   And a letter unto Asaph the keeper of the king's forest, that he may give me timber to make beams for the gates of the palace which appertained to the house, and for the wall of the city, and for the house that I shall enter into. And the king granted me, according to the good hand of my God upon me.9   Then I came to the governors beyond the river, and gave them the king's letters. Now the king had sent captains of the army and horsemen with me.10   When Sanballat the Horonite, and Tobiah the servant, the Ammonite, heard of it, it grieved them exceedingly that there was come a man to seek the welfare of the children of Israel.11   So I came to Jerusalem, and was there three days.12   And I arose in the night, I and some few men with me; neither told I any man what my God had put in my heart to do at Jerusalem: neither was there any beast with me, save the beast that I rode upon.13   And I went out by night by the gate of the valley, even before the dragon well, and to the dung port, and viewed the walls of Jerusalem, which were broken down, and the gates thereof were consumed with fire.14   Then I went on to the gate of the fountain, and to the king's pool: but there was no place for the beast that was under me to pass.15   Then went I up in the night by the brook, and viewed the wall, and turned back, and entered by the gate of the valley, and so returned.16   And the rulers knew not whither I went, or what I did; neither had I as yet told it to the Jews, nor to the priests, nor to the nobles, nor to the rulers, nor to the rest that did the work.2 Timothy 3:1-7 KJB: 1   This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.2   For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,3   Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,4   Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;5   Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.6   For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,7   Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

(Pastor Ronnie Jones) Real Salvation, Part Two

Pastor Ronnie Jones, of the Mineral Park Baptist Church, McDonald, TN, preaches on Sunday evening, April 5, 2026.Mark 2:1-14 KJB: 1   And again he entered into Capernaum after some days; and it was noised that he was in the house.2   And straightway many were gathered together, insomuch that there was no room to receive them, no, not so much as about the door: and he preached the word unto them.3   And they come unto him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four.4   And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay.5   When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.6   But there was certain of the scribes sitting there, and reasoning in their hearts,7   Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only?8   And immediately when Jesus perceived in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, he said unto them, Why reason ye these things in your hearts?9   Whether is it easier to say to the sick of the palsy, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed, and walk?10   But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy,)11   I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house.12   And immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, We never saw it on this fashion.13   And he went forth again by the sea side; and all the multitude resorted unto him, and he taught them.14   And as he passed by, he saw Levi the son of Alphaeus sitting at the receipt of custom, and said unto him, Follow me. And he arose and followed him.
