Steven universe, hot girl summer, memoirs and graphic novels, the glamorous side of a quiet life.
Not every glow up story is glamorous, and that’s okay. In this episode, we’re getting real about finding magic in the everyday. From the memoirs and graphic novels that mirror our own humanity, to the comfort of Steven Universe and the small joys that actually matter. We’re diving into the books that have changed how we see ourselves, the slice-of-life stories that feel like looking in a mirror, and why sometimes a good cartoon and a new swimsuit are exactly what we need. Because the most meaningful moments often happen when we’re just being ourselves, living quietly and authentically. Join me as I celebrate the messy, beautiful, unglamorous parts of growing up… or not growing up 🤷🏻♀️ wtv feels more comfy lol

Life is kicking my ass
I’ve been feeling mentally exhausted and like I’ve been comparing myself a lot lately. I want to be at a point where I can fully accept myself flaws and all, which I guess you could say is easier said than done, but it takes a lot of practice anyways. I went to the doctors and didn’t get the best news, but I’m trying to be OK with where I am now, of course it hurts and of course it’s going to be difficult and the journey is going to take a while. However, two things can be true at the same time: one, I am grateful for everything that I have and two, I’m struggling and that’s okay! I think I’m going to take it slow, but also romanticize and enjoy my life as much as possible…

Tired of these men; cheating scandal, true crime and my Pap smear horror story
First of all, I need y’all to know I’m recording this episode on my period, so if I sound emotional, dramatic, slightly unhinged, or ready to fight… mind your business. 😂 In this episode, we get into the Megan Thee Stallion and Klay Thompson cheating drama because be serious… did anyone actually think Megan Thee Stallion was about to sign up for a polygamous situation? Absolutely insane behavior. We also get into my very strong opinions about men who hurt women and children.,. and yes, I said what I said. Then we talk about the tragic case involving D4vid and the murder charges connected to Celeste Hernandez Rivas. May she rest in peace. And because this podcast believes in emotional whiplash, I also share my Pap smear horror story because being a woman is honestly a comedy mixed with psychological warfare sometimes.

Breakups Before Bedtime- A special guest!
Being the cool auntie means you hear everything…… Yes, even middle school tea 😂In this episode, my nephew Adan pulls back the curtain on what “dating” in 8th grade really looks like. It’s not all hand-holding and love songs… it’s texting, group hangs, mixed signals, and figuring things out in real time. Messy? A little. Relatable? Very.He opens up about a situation with a girl who maybe wasn’t ready for something new, and gets real about how it made him feel. We talk about what he learned, what caught him off guard, and what he thinks people should know before jumping into their first relationship. It’s honest, a little funny, a little “aww,” and lowkey a reminder that we’ve all been there.

Grown… But Not Mature
What happens when you grow up too fast… and end up parenting the very people who were supposed to guide you?In this episode, we unpack the quiet reality of emotional role reversal—when children become the peacemakers, the providers, the “strong one” long before they’re ready. On the outside, it can look like maturity. Strength. Independence. But underneath, it often comes with unprocessed emotions, blurred boundaries, and a version of adulthood built on survival instead of choice. We talk about how this dynamic can follow you into relationships, self-worth, and the way you show up for yourself—and how it can be more damaging than people realize. But this isn’t just about the weight of it all. It’s also about the turning point—the moment you realize you don’t have to keep carrying what was never yours. The power in setting boundaries. The courage in choosing healing over habit. And the possibility of becoming the one who breaks the cycle, not just for others… but for yourself.Because growing up too fast may have shaped you—but it doesn’t have to define you!

Life Lately-I love you dad!
In this episode, I’m diving into what happened after I shared my catfish story. Honestly, it’s been kind of amazing. Reconnecting with people from my past has been something I didn’t expect, but definitely needed.I’m also giving a special shoutout to my dad, because he truly is one of a kind. He’s not only turning 62 this week, but he’s also retiring! 🎉 I just feel really proud and grateful to celebrate him.Life has been a little chaotic lately, so this episode is a bit shorter than usual. But I’m really looking forward to unplugging soon and spending some time out in nature to reset. And as always, thank you for being here and going on this journey with me. It really means more than you know. 💕

Part 2 of My Catfish Story
Part 2… yeah, this is where it gets real. This is the chapter with the moments I still can’t fully explain. The weird coincidences, the gut feelings I ignored, the situations that didn’t add up until they really didn’t add up. The kind of chaos that makes you question your own reality for a second. And the heartbreak? Oh, it wasn’t just about one person. It was losing people I thought were solid… But let me be clear (enter Kamala Harris voice)—this didn’t ruin me. It refined me. I don’t second-guess my intuition anymore, I don’t chase closure, and I definitely don’t tolerate anything that feels even slightly off. If it’s weird, I’m already ten steps ahead. Some stories end with closure. This one ends with distance, discernment… and me minding my business like a pro.Press play if you’re ready for the details !🎙️

Part 1- My Catfish Story
In this episode, I open up about a deeply personal chapter of my life, one that shaped how I understand love, identity, and mental health. At 14 and 15, I found myself caught in what felt like an all-consuming love story, one that blurred the lines between reality and illusion. What I didn’t realize at the time was that I was being catfished. 🎣 This isn’t just a story about deception (Lord knows there was a lot of that) it’s a reflection on vulnerability, emotional dependency, and the quiet ways our mental health can be impacted when we’re young and still learning ourselves. I revisit my younger self with compassion, unpacking how something that felt so real could ultimately unravel into confusion and heartbreak.Through this experience, I explore the importance of mental health awareness, especially during formative years, and how unhealed wounds, loneliness, and longing can make us more susceptible to situations that leave lasting emotional marks. This episode is both a recollection and a reclaiming. An honest conversation about navigating intense emotions, recognizing red flags, and honoring the growth that comes from surviving something that once felt like everything. If you’ve ever loved deeply, lost yourself in someone, or had to rebuild after emotional confusion, this one is for you.

Blake Lively & Justin Baldoni
Okay… let’s talk about it. This episode is full of unfiltered thoughts on Blake Lively vs. Justin Baldoni, and why I’m not exactly on the side you might expect. I break down my perspective, question the narrative a little, and say what needs to be said. And because balance is everything, I wrap things up by leaning into softer vibes: spring, fresh energy, and appreciating where I’m at right now.

A Love Letter to Megan Thee Stallion
OKAY baddies, it’s time to talk about the famous people who shaped my life. When I say inspiration, I’m not just talking about what these artists create… I’m talking about their energy, their message, and the feelings their work leaves behind.I start off with a little rant about Chappell Roan, because while artists give us so much, we are not automatically entitled to their space or energy. What we do get is the opportunity to enjoy the fruits of their labor—just like any other job. From there, I dive into the impact of Jack Black, Megan Thee Stallion, Kesha, Charli XCX, Johnny Depp, and Lola Young (artists who each left a mark on me in a way that truly changed who I am.)Now I want to know… who influenced you and why? Send me a DM or drop a comment and let’s talk about it 💗

How I Met Him
In this week’s episode I am talking about a past relationship before the love I have today. It wasn’t toxic or chaotic, but it taught me more about myself at the time. Besties, sometimes we expect every relationship to be a lesson in what went wrong, but this one was a little different. This is my “thank you next” reflection and my “hello new world” moment when I met the love of my life. Mentioning an old flame not out of bitterness, but without that chapter, I wouldn’t have recognized the love I have now or the woman that I’ve become. This one is for my baddies who have had to let go of a relationship in order to make room for something even more aligned. 💗 it’s true, that some people are not meant to stay forever but they change you in all of the right ways .
