by Rusty Godlewski
This Podcast is all about teaching, equipping, and training, prospective evangelists and disciple-makers, with the communication skills, methods, techniques, and strategies, to enable them to be more effective in their efforts. In future episodes, I will, in effect, be teaching this material while doing mini, topical, Bible studies to support the fact that all my teaching material is Biblically sanctioned.

Season 2- Episode #13 - "Mission Impossible" - "We Are Not Alone"
In this episode, Season 2 -Episode #13, of the "Beacons of the Gospel" Podcast, we will be closing out Season #2 and our exhaustive examination of "The Great Commission," or as I have renamed it, "Mission Impossible." This Episode is titled "We Are Not Alone," and we will be looking at the words of Jesus, presented in verse 20, of the Matthew chapter 28 presentation of "The Great Commission." We will then take notice of the kind of leaders Jesus is commissioning. Then we will take a close look at the important difference between "Teaching" and "Training." We will conclude the episode by comparing the difference between spiritual "Isolation" and spiritual "Insolation" in living as disciples of Jesus.

Season 2- Episode #11 - "Mission Impossible" - "Calling on His Name"
In this episode of the "Beacons of the Gospel" podcast, we will be examining what it means to act in, speak in, or in any other way, represent “The Name of the Lord.” We will be showing that this is a very serious thing to do, and that it, likewise, has very serious consequences if done in error. We will then apply this responsibility to “The Great Commission,” because Jesus commands us to “make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” So, it must be understood that, in that passage, “in the name of” means “baptizing” people consistently with all that is in accord with the will and the word of “The Trinitarian Godhead” We will also be looking at the "Calling on the Name of the Lord" and "The Sinners Prayer" responses to "The Gospel," which are falsely being taught in so many modern-day churches.

Season 2- Episode #2 - "Mission Impossible" - "Because He said So"
In this episode, we will continue our examination of "The Great Commission." We pick up by closing out our look at the declared supreme authority of Jesus. We then examine the contractual relationship between Church clergy and "The Church" laity. I also examine the question of whether this current relationship hinders a greater participation in the ministries of evangelism and disciple-making within The Church. I then look at the word "go," in "The Great Commission" and compare that to the current approach to evangelism, of inviting people to church. Next, we review our understanding of what a genuine "disciple" is. We then close out the episode by suggesting that the phrase "baptizing them" is a synecdoche.
