He represents learning from those who have walked the path before us and reminds us that there is value in both intuition and wisdom. What feels particularly relevant for today's conversation about manifestation is that The Hierophant reminds us that manifestation is not simply about wishing for something and hoping it arrives. There are principles that sit beneath it.There are lessons to learn. There are patterns to understand. When I look back at the biggest manifestations of my own life, they weren't random events. They followed a pattern. A series of choices, beliefs and actions that eventually led me to where I am today. And perhaps that is the message of The Hierophant. The life you desire may not require more information. It may require you to trust the wisdom you have already gathered. The experiences you've had.The lessons you've learned. The challenges you've overcome. The evidence of what you are capable of.Sometimes we are so busy looking for the next answer that we forget how much knowledge we already carry. The Hierophant also invites us to consider who we are learning from. Are the voices around you expanding your world or reinforcing your limitations? Are you surrounding yourself with people who remind you what is possible, or people who constantly remind you why something can't be done?Discover your No Ordinary Woman ArchetypeI created the NOW Archetype quiz to help a woman like you discover exactly where you are on your journey to reinventing your life. Episode 53 - The Identity Evolution - Embracing the next version of you

SummaryJoanna explores the four archetypes of women on their transformation journey, providing insights into how women can identify their current stage and move forward with confidence. This episode offers practical questions, a tarot reading, and a call to action for self-discovery.Keywordswomen's transformation, archetypes, self-leadership, personal growth, confidence, self-trust, identity evolution, empowermentKey TopicsThe four archetypes of women on transformation journeysHow to identify your current archetype and stageThe importance of self-trust and self-leadershipPractical questions for self-discovery and growthTarot insights on trusting your inner wisdomSoul - Journal PromptsWhich woman does your intuition know you are right now?How do you feel about that? What part of your life reflects that archetype? What are you tolerating? What are you craving? What truth have you been trying not to acknowledge? What would happen if you stopped judging yourself for being exactly where you are?Universal Guidance - The HermitThe Hermit represents the woman who is brave enough to stop looking outside of herself for answers. The woman who pauses long enough to hear her own voice again. The woman who is willing to step away from the noise, the expectations, the opinions and the "shoulds" so she can reconnect with what is true for her.And isn't that exactly what we have been talking about today? The journey from who you were told to be to who you were born to become. So many women in the Edge Walker stage are desperately searching for certainty. They are asking friends what they should do. Reading another book. Listening to another podcast. Looking for someone to give them permission. The Hermit gently reminds us that the answers we seek are rarely found outside of ourselves. They are found when we create enough space to hear our own wisdom. What I love about The Hermit is that she carries a lantern. The lantern doesn't illuminate the entire path ahead. It doesn't show her where she will be in five years' time.It simply lights the next few steps. And perhaps that is the message for you today.Maybe you don't need to know exactly how the rest of your life will unfold.Maybe you don't need every answer before you begin.Maybe you only need enough light to take the next step.Trusting yourself isn't built by seeing the whole path.Trusting yourself is built by taking one step, then another, then another, and proving to yourself that you can navigate what comes next.Discover your No Ordinary Woman ArchetypeI created the NOW Archetype quiz to help a woman like you discover exactly where you are on your journey to reinventing your life. Episode 52 Sliding Doors - How you make decisions matters more than you think

SummaryJoanna explores the different types of decision-making—head, heart, and soul—and how understanding their origins can transform your life. She shares personal stories and practical questions to help women trust their inner guidance and make aligned choices.Keywordsdecision-making, intuition, soul decisions, personal growth, trust, life transformationKey TopicsTypes of decision-making: head, heart, soulThe importance of trust in decision-makingPersonal stories of life-changing decisionsQuestions to identify decision originsThe role of intuition and alignmentTakeawaysUnderstanding where your decisions come from can change your life.Head decisions focus on safety and practicality.Heart decisions are driven by emotion and desire.Soul decisions require trust and often feel quiet but true.Trust your inner guidance even when it doesn't make sense.Soul - Journal PromptsWhat kind of decisions have shaped your life so far?Head decisions?Heart decisions?Or soul decisions?Where in your life are you making choices purely from safety? And where is there a deeper truth quietly trying to get your attention? What decision already lives inside you… even if you cannot fully explain it yet?Universal guidanceThe Magician is not just about manifestation or potential. It is about conscious choice. It is about recognising that your thoughts, energy, actions and decisions are constantly shaping the direction of your life. And perhaps the deeper message here is this:You cannot create an extraordinary life whilst continuously overriding your own inner knowing. At some point, you have to trust what keeps calling you.Even when it doesn’t fully make sense yet.Even when your head wants more proof.More certainty.More guarantees.Because sometimes your soul recognises the truth before your logical mind catches up.Discover your No Ordinary Woman ArchetypeI created the NOW Archetype quiz to help a woman like you discover exactly where you are on your journey to reinventing your life. Episode 50 - What selling my house has taught me about raising my standards

Show NotesJoanna shares a transformative insight about living intentionally and not postponing joy or self-care until 'someday.' She reflects on her experience of preparing her home for sale, realising that standards of care and self-leadership are about daily choices and mindset, not perfection.Key wordsself-leadership, living intentionally, joy, standards, self-care, personal growth, motivation, empowerment, mindfulness, life designKey topicsLiving with intention and standardsThe concept of saving joy and special momentsSelf-leadership and daily choicesThe significance of small acts of care and responsibilityThe metaphor of preparing a home as a reflection of life standardsTakeawaysStandards are about self-leadership, not perfection.Living as if your life is a rehearsal diminishes your present experience.Small daily acts of care build an extraordinary life. You are responsible for creating the life you want, starting now.Where in your life are you waiting for a special occasion? What are you postponing for “one day”?What part of yourself have you been saving for later? And perhaps the biggest question of all…What would it look like to live an extraordinary life right now?The Emperor reminds us that the life we experience every day is shaped by the standards we tolerate, the decisions we make repeatedly, and the environments we create for ourselves. The Emperor also carries strong masculine energy which feels important here too.Not masculine in the sense of hustle or force but in the sense of grounded action. Of choosing. Of deciding. Of no longer drifting through your own life waiting for permission or the “right moment.”Because the truth is… nobody is coming to create the extraordinary life for you.You have to choose it. Episode 49 - The Hero's Journey - How to discover your next step

SummaryJoanna explores the concept of the Hero's Journey as a framework for personal transformation, especially for women in midlife. She shares her own experiences, introduces four archetypes, and offers practical steps to recognise and embrace life's next chapter.KeywordsHero's Journey, personal transformation, midlife, archetypes, self-leadership, change, growth, coaching, tarot, decision-makingKey TopicsThe stages of the Hero's Journey and their relevance to personal growthIntroduction of the four archetypes: the Comfortable Settler, the Edgewalker, the Embodied Leader, and the No Ordinary WomanPractical steps to recognise your current stage and next moveThe role of trust, intuition, and decision-making in transformationUsing tarot as a coaching tool to understand personal evolutionSTRATEGY (Activation)1 - The first thing is to recognise your pattern.Where in your life have you already lived this journey?Where have you been the woman who chose to move… even when it was uncomfortable?2 - The second is to identify your current edge. What are you avoiding deciding right now?Not in a vague way Be SpecificWhat is the thing you keep coming back to… and then stepping away from?3 - And the third is to collapse the gap. What is your next move? You don’t need the full plan or a complete life overhaul overnightJust the next step that moves you forward.SOUL - JOURNAL PROMPTS (Deepening)Where in your life are you being called forward right now? What do you already know… that you keep telling yourself you don’t?Where have you completed a Hero’s Journey before — and what did it require of you? What identity are you being asked to leave behind? If you were to fully answer the call… what would you do next? And finally…If you don’t, what does your life look like in one year?Three years?Five?UNIVERSAL GUIDANCE - The Ace of WandsThe Ace of Wands is not about ideas. It’s not about thinking, analysing, or waiting until everything makes sense. It’s about ignition. It’s the spark. The moment something within you comes alive and says…this matters. This is the beginning of something new.A new direction.A new desire.A new version of you that is ready to be expressed. But here’s the truth about the Ace of Wands. It doesn’t arrive with a full plan.It doesn’t come with guarantees. It comes with energy. With potential. With a sense of this is yours if you choose it.And that’s why this card is so aligned with the Hero’s Journey.Because this is the call. This is the moment where something is being offered to you…and you get to decide what you do with it.You can ignore it.You can question it.You can tell yourself it’s not the right time.Or…you can pick it up.You can move. You can begin. So if this card resonates with you today, I want you to ask yourself:Where is the spark in my life right now? What is trying to come through me… that I keep pushing away? And what would it look like to trust that this isn’t random…this is the beginning of something.Because the Ace of Wands doesn’t ask you to have it all figured out.It asks you to respond. To the idea.To the desire. To the call. And that response…is where your next chapter begins.Try my NEW Archetypes quizI am excited to share that to support this important work I have created my NOW archetypes quiz to help you determine which stage of the Hero’s journey you are at right now AND what your immediate next step should be.CLICK HEREI would love for you to share with me which archetype you are so I can help you because I have lived every archetype so I will most definitely have been where you are.The Hero’s journey isn’t about thinking more. It’s about seeing yourself clearly and making a decision from that place. It’s an adventure – if you choose it.And if you recognise yourself as standing at the crossroads, on the edge of an uplevel just know this. You don’t have to stay there

Episode 48 No-One Talks About This Part of Changing Your Life, But I Will

The StoryJoanna explores the realities of life changes, emphasising that transformation is often messy, non-linear, and full of ups and downs. She shares her personal journey of preparing to sell her house and travel, highlighting that setbacks and doubts are natural parts of growth.Keywordspersonal growth, change, transformation, self-leadership, mindset, life transition, resilience, messy process, self-awareness, motivationKey TopicsThe reality of change and transformationThe importance of self-leadership during messy seasonsUnderstanding that setbacks are part of growthThe significance of curiosity and exploration in new chaptersTakeawaysExpansion can feel disruptive, not smooth. You don't become perfect after a big move; you're human.Wobbles are part of the process, not signs of failure.Self-leadership involves navigating discomfort with curiosity.Strategy1 Expansion doesn’t feel clean.2 - You don’t suddenly become a perfectly consistent, fully optimised version of yourself just because you’ve made a big move.3 A wobble doesn’t mean you’re on the wrong path.SOUL -  JOURNAL PROMPTSWhere in your life are you expecting things to feel cleaner or easier than they currently do… simply because you’ve made an aligned decision?Where might you be interpreting a temporary dip in energy, focus or consistency as something more permanent? And what would change if you allowed this season to be exactly what it is… without making it mean that you are off track? What does self-leadership look like for me in this season… not in an ideal world, but in the reality of what I’m navigating right now?Universal Guidance -  Page of Wands. The Page of Wands is all about new beginnings, exploration, and the early stages of a new chapter. It carries this energy of curiosity, possibility, and movement… but it’s not the energy of having it all figured out. It’s the energy of stepping forward anyway. It’s the energy of saying yes to something new, even when you don’t yet feel fully ready, fully certain, or fully grounded in it.And what’s really interesting is that this card doesn’t represent mastery. It doesn’t represent the finished version of you.It represents the version of you who is still learning… still navigating… still finding her way.And I think that links so beautifully to what we’ve been talking about today.Because if you are in a season of change… if you are building something new… if you are stepping into a different way of living…Of course it’s going to feel messy at times.Of course it’s going to feel uncertain. You are not meant to have the steadiness of someone who has been here for years. You are in the energy of the Page. You are exploring. You are expanding. You are becoming. And the invitation of this card is not to wait until you feel more confident, more consistent, or more in control. It’s to stay open.To stay curious. To keep moving.Even when it doesn’t feel perfect. So if things feel a little wobbly right now… if your energy feels up and down… if you don’t feel like you’ve fully “landed” yet…That doesn’t mean you’re doing it wrong. It means you’re right where you’re supposed to be.🙌🏼 Loved this episode? If this resonated with you, I would be so grateful if you could:✨ Follow or subscribe to the podcast so you never miss an episode✨ Rate and review — it helps more women find this space✨ Share this episode with a friend who’s on the edge of something extraordinary🌐 Connect with MeLet’s keep this conversation going!📸 Instagram: @becomingnoordinarywoman🌍 Website: www.joannapetrierout.com💌 Email: [email protected]

Episode 47 - The Wheel of Life is a powerful tool...but you are using it wrong

SummaryJoanna explores the true power of the Wheel of Life as a tool for self-awareness and transformation. She reveals how most women use it superficially, and how to leverage it to identify what you're tolerating, dream bigger, and create a life aligned with your true desires.TakeawaysMost women use the Wheel of Life only to assess their current state, not to transform it.Balancing the wheel can keep you stuck in maintenance mode instead of growth.Reframing scores as what you are tolerating shifts your mindset.Dreaming big and allowing yourself to hope is essential for growth. The Wheel of Life should be used to tell the truth about your life, not just to balance it.Stepping into your next level requires closure and expansion, not just incremental improvements.Your next level comes from dreaming again and believing in your potential.STRATEGY Look at each area of your life and ask yourself:Where are you tolerating something that no longer feels right?Where have you settled… without even realising it?Where are you pretending something is “fine”… when it isn’t?And then go further. What do you actually desire here… if you are really honest? If you stopped trying to keep everything steady…what would you change first?SOUL - Journal PromptsSo if you were to sit with your own Wheel of Life right now…I don’t want you to just score it.I want you to feel it.Where does something feel heavy?Where does something feel flat?Where does something feel like it no longer fits? And then ask yourself:Where am I tolerating something I’ve outgrown? What do I actually want instead? And what am I avoiding changing?Because the answers to those questions…Are far more powerful than any number you could write on that wheel.UNIVERSAL GUIDANCE - The World. The World is not a card of “fixing” your life. It’s a card of completion.Of expansion.Of stepping into a new level of who you are.It represents the moment where you stop playing small inside the life you’ve built…and you allow yourself to step into the life that’s actually waiting for you.But here’s the truth of this card. You don’t get The World by staying where you are.You don’t get it by making small, incremental improvements to the areas of your life you’re tolerating. You get it by recognising that you’ve outgrown something…and being willing to step beyond it.This card is asking you to zoom out.To see the bigger picture of your life. Not just the individual segments on your wheel…but the whole. And to ask yourself…Is this the life I’m here to live?Or is there more available to me… if I’m willing to choose it?Because The World is about possibility. It’s about expansion. It’s about stepping into a version of your life that feels fuller, richer… more you. But it requires closure. It requires you to stop circling the same patterns…and decide that you are ready for something different. So if something has stood out to you in this episode…If there is an area of your life that feels like it’s complete…or no longer fits…That’s not a problem. That’s your invitation.Into your next level.🙌🏼 Loved this episode? If this resonated with you, I would be so grateful if you could:✨ Follow or subscribe to the podcast so you never miss an episode✨ Rate and review — it helps more women find this space✨ Share this episode with a friend who’s on the edge of something extraordinary🌐 Connect with MeLet’s keep this conversation going!📸 Instagram: @becomingnoordinarywoman🌍 Website: www.joannapetrierout.com💌 Email: [email protected]

Episode 46 - You can't create a new life from an old identity

SHOW NOTESSummaryJoanna explores the profound impact of identity on personal transformation, emphasising that true change requires evolving your sense of self. She shares personal stories and practical steps to help women redefine who they are and step into their next chapter with confidence.Key TopicsThe relationship between identity and changePersonal stories of identity shiftsPractical steps to redefine your identityTakeawaysYou can't build a new life with the same identity that built the old one.Understanding your current identity is the first step to change.Defining your next identity involves imagining who you are becoming.Action is the bridge between your current self and your next self.Celebrating the in-between moments is crucial in the transformation process.STRATEGYStep 1: Identify your current identityStep 2: See where it’s no longer serving youStep 3: Define your next identityStep 4: Start acting from her nowSOUL  - Journal promptsHere are some journal prompts to help you if you find yourself between identities right now. What identity am I still holding onto that I’ve outgrown?Where am I trying to create change… without changing who I am?Who am I becoming… if I stop playing this role?UNIVERSAL GUIDANCEThe Three of Cups. This is a card of celebration but this isn’t about celebrating the finished version of you. It’s about celebrating the becoming. It’s a reminder that even in the in-between…Even when you are not fully who you were…And not quite who you are becoming yet…There is still something here to honour.Because growth doesn’t just happen at the end.It happens in the small shifts. The quiet decisions. The moments where you choose differently… even when it feels unfamiliar. The Three of Cups also speaks to connection. To being seen.To not doing this alone. And I think that’s important with identity work.Because when you are becoming someone new…It can feel like no one quite recognises you anymore. Not the old version of you.And not yet the new one.And this card is a reminder to let yourself be supported in that space. To share the journey. To celebrate the shifts… even before they fully make sense.Because you don’t have to wait until you’ve “arrived”To acknowledge that something is already changing. So if this card is for you today…Let it be a reminder that this in-between space you are in…Is not something to rush through. It’s something to recognise.Because this is where the new version of you is being formed. And that… is worth celebrating.🙌🏼 Loved this episode? If this resonated with you, I would be so grateful if you could:✨ Follow or subscribe to the podcast so you never miss an episode✨ Rate and review — it helps more women find this space✨ Share this episode with a friend who’s on the edge of something extraordinary🌐 Connect with MeLet’s keep this conversation going!📸 Instagram: @becomingnoordinarywoman🌍 Website: www.joannapetrierout.com💌 Email: [email protected]

Episode 45 - Why Growth Feels So Messy And What It Actually Means

SHOW NOTESJoanna explores the concept of holding dual emotions simultaneously—such as excitement and sadness—during life transitions. She shares personal stories and practical strategies to embrace duality as a form of self-leadership and emotional maturity.Key TopicsThe concept of duality in emotionsPractical strategies for holding conflicting feelingsThe importance of emotional maturity and self-leadershipPersonal stories illustrating duality in life changesTakeawaysYou don't need to feel one clear emotion before making a decision.Naming both truths reduces internal tension and promotes clarity.Normalising contradiction helps in managing complex emotions.Alignment is created through movement, not waiting for certainty.Leading from your inner knowing is more reliable than fleeting feelings.Strategy1. Stop waiting to feel one clear thing2. Name both truthsInstead of trying to override one feeling with another…let both exist.3. Normalise the contradictionIf it feels messy…you’re probably in the right place.4. Lead yourself, don’t wait for alignment5. Anchor into what you know, not what you feelSoul — JOURNAL PROMPTSWhere in your life are you waiting to feel one clear emotion before you move? What two truths are you holding right now? What do you know… even if you don’t feel ready? What decision might you make if both emotions were allowed to exist? And what would it look like to lead yourself from that place?UNIVERSAL GUIDANCEThe Queen of Swords is the embodiment of truth and clarity, but not the kind of clarity we often think about. She doesn’t represent certainty without emotion. She represents clarity with emotion. She has lived. She has loved. She has lost. She knows what it is to feel deeply and she doesn’t shut that down. But she also doesn’t let her emotions lead her away from her truth. She holds both. She holds her heart and her discernment. She feels and she decides. And that’s the invitation here. You don’t need to become someone who doesn’t feel. You don’t need to harden yourself to move forward. You get to feel everything that is present for you and still choose what is true. The Queen of Swords doesn’t wait for her emotions to settle before she moves. She listens to them. She honours them. But she leads from her inner knowing. And that’s what this episode is really about. Not removing the emotion but leading yourself through it.So if you’re in a moment right now where things feel mixed…where part of you is excited and part of you is scared…where part of you is ready and part of you is holding on…This is your reminder. You don’t need to resolve it all before you move. You just need to be willing to hold both and choose anyway.🙌🏼 Loved this episode? If this resonated with you, I would be so grateful if you could:✨ Follow or subscribe to the podcast so you never miss an episode✨ Rate and review — it helps more women find this space✨ Share this episode with a friend who’s on the edge of something extraordinary🌐 Connect with MeLet’s keep this conversation going!📸 Instagram: @becomingnoordinarywoman🌍 Website: www.joannapetrierout.com💌 Email: [email protected]

She emphasises that the real issue isn't time itself, but avoidance and delayed decisions.Keywordstime management, decision making, personal growth, avoiding stagnation, life changes, self-awarenessTakeawaysWe often focus on losing hours, but the real loss is in years spent in situations that no longer serve us.Avoidance and indecision quietly leak our time and life away.Clarity comes from movement, not overthinking or waiting for certainty. The Knight of Cups symbolises trusting your intuition and moving forward without guarantees. You already know what decisions you need to make; stop delaying and act.StrategyKey Questions to ask yourself1. Where in your life are you leaking time right now?2. What decision are you avoiding?3. What would change if you moved now… instead of waiting?SOUL (Journal Prompts)If you want to go deeper with this, here are a few questions for you to journal on:Where am I telling myself I need more time… when actually I need more courage? What have I known for months, or even years, that I haven’t acted on?If I trusted myself fully, what would I do next?UNIVERSAL GUIDANCE Knight of CupsThe Knight of Cups doesn’t wait for certainty.He doesn’t sit in analysis.He doesn’t need the full plan.He moves when something feels right.He follows the pull.The desire.The quiet knowing that there is something more.And this is where many of you get stuck.Because you’re trying to make decisions from your head.You’re weighing everything up.Overthinking it.Trying to make the “right” choice.But the Knight of Cups doesn’t operate like that.He trusts what he feels drawn towards…And then he moves.Not because he has guarantees…But because he understands something most people don’t:Clarity comes from movement. Not from waiting.And that links perfectly to what we’ve been talking about today.You don’t need more time.You already know.The invitation here is simple…Stop analysing.Stop delaying.Stop waiting for the perfect moment.And take the step that feels aligned.Even if it doesn’t make perfect sense yet.Because the life you want…Isn’t created through overthinking.It’s created through movement.🙌🏼 Loved this episode? If this resonated with you, I would be so grateful if you could:✨ Follow or subscribe to the podcast so you never miss an episode✨ Rate and review — it helps more women find this space✨ Share this episode with a friend who’s on the edge of something extraordinary🌐 Connect with MeLet’s keep this conversation going!📸 Instagram: @becomingnoordinarywoman🌍 Website: www.joannapetrierout.com💌 Email: [email protected]

Episode 42 - The Lies Smart Women Tell Themselves That Keep Them Stuck

SummaryJoanna explores the common lies smart women tell themselves to stay stuck in unfulfilling situations, despite feeling a whisper for change. She shares personal stories, debunks these myths, and offers empowering questions and insights to inspire women to embrace their next chapter.Key TopicsCommon lies women tell themselves to stay in unfulfilling situationsThe importance of self-trust and listening to inner whispersDebunking myths about gratitude, tiredness, responsibility, and self-figuringThe significance of embracing uncertainty and plot twists in lifePractical questions to reflect on for personal growthThe Common LiesLie 1: "I should be grateful."Lie 2: "Maybe I'm just tired."Lie 3: "It would be irresponsible to change things."Lie 4 "I should have figured this out by now."Journal Prompts1. What story re you currently telling yourself about why you need to stay where you am?2. If you stopped trying to be sensible for a moment… what truth might be trying to surface?3. If you trusted yourself more… what decision might you be ready to explore?Universal GuidanceThe Ace of Wands represents new beginnings, inspiration and creative fire.In the traditional tarot imagery, a hand emerges from the clouds holding a wand that is beginning to sprout leaves. It’s the symbol of a spark. Not the finished masterpiece. Not the whole plan.Just the moment where something inside you comes alive. The Ace of Wands is the moment when an idea, a desire or a vision begins to take hold. And it often arrives before you know exactly what to do with it.Which is why so many people ignore it.Because the Ace of Wands doesn’t arrive with a ten-step plan.It arrives with energy. With curiosity. With a sense that something inside you is waking up.And when you think about the lies we talked about in today’s episode, many of them are the stories we tell ourselves to extinguish that spark. We tell ourselves we should be grateful. We tell ourselves we’re just tired. We tell ourselves it would be irresponsible. But the Ace of Wands reminds us that every extraordinary life begins with a single spark of truth.A moment when you acknowledge:There is something more for me.So if you’re listening today and something inside you has been whispering…Maybe this card is simply an invitation to honour that spark instead of dismissing it.You don’t need the whole staircase. You don’t need the entire plan. You just need to be willing to hold that spark… and see where it leads.🙌🏼 Loved this episode? If this resonated with you, I would be so grateful if you could:✨ Follow or subscribe to the podcast so you never miss an episode✨ Rate and review — it helps more women find this space✨ Share this episode with a friend who’s on the edge of something extraordinary🌐 Connect with MeLet’s keep this conversation going!📸 Instagram: @becomingnoordinarywoman🌍 Website: www.joannapetrierout.com💌 Email: [email protected]

Episode 41 - Four Signs You Are Ready For Your No Ordinary Woman Era

SummaryJoanna shares her personal journey of transformation from success to self-actualisation, highlighting four signs that women are entering their 'no ordinary woman' era. This episode explores how internal shifts signal the need for growth beyond external achievements.Key TopicsSigns of entering a new life phaseMaslow's hierarchy of needs applied to women’s growthThe importance of self-actualization for womenRecognising internal shifts and embracing changeThe four signs you are entering your No Ordinary Woman EraSign 1Your life looks successful… but it no longer feels aligned.Sign 2You feel restless… but you don’t yet know what you want.Sign 3You’ve started questioning the rules you once followed.Sign 4You can no longer ignore the pull toward something bigger.Journal PromptsWhere in your life do things still look successful… but no longer feel aligned? What part of you has outgrown the life you are currently living? If you allowed yourself to want more… what might become possible? What could be possible for you if you decided to continue to the Summit?Universal GuidanceThe Nine of Cups is often called the wish fulfilment card in tarot. It represents satisfaction, emotional fulfilment and the feeling of having achieved something deeply meaningful in your life.In many decks it shows a figure sitting proudly in front of nine cups, representing the emotional rewards of following what truly matters to you.But what I find really interesting about this card in the context of today’s episode… is what it doesn’t represent. It doesn’t represent settling. It doesn’t represent staying where you are because things look good from the outside. It represents the deeper fulfilment that comes from honouring your true desires. From listening to that inner pull toward something more meaningful. And I think that’s such a beautiful message for this episode.Because when you start to feel that restlessness…when you sense that the life you’ve built no longer fully fits…that feeling isn’t there to make you ungrateful. It’s there to guide you toward a deeper level of fulfilment. The Nine of Cups reminds us that the path toward self-actualisation — toward becoming the woman you are capable of being — is not selfish. It’s the path toward living a life that truly satisfies your soul. And sometimes that journey begins with one simple moment. The moment you allow yourself to admit that the summit of the mountain is calling you.🙌🏼 Loved this episode? If this resonated with you, I would be so grateful if you could:✨ Follow or subscribe to the podcast so you never miss an episode✨ Rate and review — it helps more women find this space✨ Share this episode with a friend who’s on the edge of something extraordinary🌐 Connect with MeLet’s keep this conversation going!📸 Instagram: @becomingnoordinarywoman🌍 Website: www.joannapetrierout.com💌 Email: [email protected]

Episode 39 Stop letting 'age' be a dream killer

The StoryIn this episode, Joanna shares her journey of embracing change and adventure as she prepares to travel indefinitely, starting with the Camino de Santiago. She challenges the notion that age should limit dreams and encourages listeners to pursue their passions regardless of societal expectations. Joanna emphasises the importance of adapting dreams to fit personal circumstances and offers practical steps for listeners to redefine and pursue their aspirations. The episode concludes with a message of curiosity and openness to new beginnings, reminding listeners that their dreams are waiting for them.TakeawaysMany people limit their dreams based on age, but this is often a cultural conditioning.Joanna reflects on her life and how she has never set age as a limitation.Examples of women achieving success later in life inspire others to pursue their dreams.Dreams can be adapted to fit personal circumstances and preferences.Practical steps include separating dreams from timelines and defining what matters about the dream.Borrow evidence from others who have succeeded later in life to combat self-doubt.Taking small actions can keep dreams alive and create momentum.Curiosity and openness to new experiences are essential for pursuing dreams.Strategy1. Separate the dream from the timeline.A dream does not expire just because a number changes. The timeline might shift. The method might evolve. But the desire itself is data. It is there for a reason.2. Call out the story you are telling yourself about age.Is it actually your belief? Or is it cultural conditioning?Who decided 50 means slow down? Who decided 40 means it’s too late? Most of these “rules” are inherited — not chosen.3. Define what actually matters about the dream.Like we did with the Camino.Strip it back to the essence. What is non-negotiable? What is flexible? Often you don’t need to abandon the dream — you need to redesign it.4. Borrow evidence. When self-doubt creeps in, look for proof. Women who started later. Women who pivoted. Women who adapted. If someone else has done it differently, it expands what is possible for you.5. Take one visible step.Dreams die in delay. They stay alive in action. Not the whole plan. Just the next step. Open the tab. Book the call. Buy the guidebook. Start the Instagram page. Momentum creates belief.Soul – Journal PromptsWhere have I quietly put a ceiling on myself because of age? What dream have I labelled “too late” — and is that actually true?If age were irrelevant, what would I allow myself to pursue? What is the essence of the dream? She follows the nudge. She listens to the whisper. Episode 38 - How To Break Free From Golden Handcuffs

SHOW NOTESIn this episode of 'Becoming No Ordinary Woman', Joanna explores the concept of 'golden handcuffs'—the invisible constraints that come with success, which can lead to feelings of entrapment and unfulfilment. She shares her personal journey of breaking free from these constraints and offers practical strategies for women who feel stuck in their careers or identities. The conversation emphasises the importance of self-discovery, redefining one's identity, and taking actionable steps towards liberation and fulfilment.TakeawaysGolden handcuffs are a prison we create for ourselves.Fulfilment is the key difference in feeling trapped. It's not about being trapped in something terrible, but attached to something admirable.Identity shifts are always uncomfortable but necessary for growth. You don't break golden handcuffs in one dramatic leap; it takes stages.Clarity reduces the psychological weight of fear.Start living as the woman you're becoming now. Each small act rewires your capacity for risk.Golden handcuffs tighten when decisions are vague or delayed.Strategy - How to break golden handcuffsStep 1: Separate Reality from FearGrab a piece of paper and write two columns:Column 1: What is objectively true if I leave?Column 2: What am I imagining might happen? Most women realise that clarity reduces psychological weight.Step 2: Identify – think about What You’re Actually Attached ToAsk yourself:Is it the money? Or the meaning you attach to the money? Is it the title? Or who you get to be because of the title?Name the attachment precisely. You can’t release what you haven’t definedStep 3: Rebuild Identity Before You ResignThis is critical. If you wait until you leave to decide who you are your nervous system will panic.Instead Start living as the woman you’re becoming now.Step 4: Increase Your Tolerance for DiscomfortExpansion and evolution require discomfort. If you are going to live you dream beyond the handcuffs you have to:Start saying no to what no longer serves who you are becomingSetting new standards and boundaries for yourselfMaking small courageous decisions, one step at a time. They compound!Investing in yourselfLet people misunderstand you – people will fall away because they liked the old you and that is ok.Step 5: Create a Decision TimelineGolden handcuffs tighten when decisions are vague or keep getting put off and delayed.Set a date. Not to leap. To decide.SOUL Journal promptsIf no one was watching, what would you choose? If all the status, the salary and the success was to disappear overnight, what would you be choosing next?Who are you protecting by staying? What part of you feels unseen in your current life?If you stay five more years, how does that feel in your body? Are you loyal to your comfort…or loyal to your potential?UNIVERSAL GUIDANCE — The DevilThe Devil in tarot isn’t about evil. It’s about attachment. It’s about the illusion of bondage. In the traditional imagery of The Devil tarot card, the chains around the figures are loose. They can step away. But they don’t.Because the cage feels familiar.Because the attachment feels comfortable.Because freedom feels uncertain. This card asks:Where are you giving your power away to something that isn’t actually holding you?Golden handcuffs are rarely locked from the outside. They’re agreements. And agreements can be renegotiated. The Devil is not a warning. It’s an invitation. To reclaim your authority.🙌🏼 Loved this episode? If this resonated with you, I would be so grateful if you could:✨ Follow or subscribe to the podcast so you never miss an episode✨ Rate and review — it helps more women find this space✨ Share this episode with a friend who’s on the edge of something extraordinary🌐 Connect with MeLet’s keep this conversation going!📸 Instagram: @becomingnoordinarywoman🌍 Website: www.joannapetrierout.com💌 Email: [email protected]

Episode 37 - The Secret Cost of Staying Stuck (and how to resolve it)

StoryIn this episode, Joanna discusses the often unrecognised cost of remaining stagnant in life, emphasisng that staying in a comfortable yet unfulfilling situation can lead to a subtle erosion of self-trust and confidence. She shares her personal journey of feeling stuck despite external success and offers practical strategies for women to move forward, including calculating the real cost of inaction, separating thinking from leading, and rebuilding self-trust through action. Joanna encourages listeners to embrace the tension of growth and make decisions that align with their true selves.TakeawaysStaying in a comfortable situation can have hidden costs.Self-trust erodes when we choose comfort over change. It's important to recognise the subtle signs of stagnation.Calculating the real cost of inaction is crucial.Thinking is not the same as leading; action is necessary.Small, aligned actions can lead to significant change. You can't make a wrong decision; every choice is a step forward.Awareness without ownership changes nothing.Embrace the tension of growth as a sign of evolution.Deciding to move forward is a powerful act of self-leadership.Strategy1: Calculate the Real CostMost women focus on what they might lose by choosing.Very few calculate what staying is costing them.2: Separate Thinking from LeadingThinking feels productive. It feels responsible. But thinking is not the same as leading yourself.Thinking gathers information.Leading makes decisions.3: Reduce the Size of the MoveYou don’t need to choose the rest of your life. You need to choose your next move. What is the smallest aligned action you could take in the next 30 days?4: Rebuild Self-Trust Through ActionSelf-trust isn’t restored by thinking harder. It’s restored by following through.SOUL WISDOM - Journal PromptsWhere in your life are you saying “not yet”… and what are you protecting? If nothing changes in the next 12 months, who do you become? What identity are you afraid to outgrow? If you fully trusted yourself, what would you already have done? What would choosing yourself look like (without chaos, just clarity?Universal Guidance - 5 of WandsThis is a card of tension. SummaryIn this episode, Joanna reflects on the impact of limiting narratives imposed by others throughout her life. She shares personal stories of overcoming expectations, particularly regarding her health, education, and personal life. Joanna emphasises the importance of self-discovery and breaking free from societal norms, especially as women age. She provides practical steps for listeners to identify and dismantle these limiting beliefs, encouraging them to trust themselves and pursue their true desires.TakeawaysIt's important to recognise when others' narratives shape your life.Self-trust is built through listening inward instead of outward. You can redefine what your life looks like at any age.Identifying borrowed voices can help you reclaim your narrative.Desire can feel blurry; simplify by asking what you want more or less of.Taking small self-trust actions can dismantle limiting beliefs. You are not behind or late; you're at a crossroads.Your life will expand as you release limiting stories.Courage and a decision are key to personal growth.Strategy1) Spot the Borrowed Voice2) Track Your ‘Should’ Hotspots3) Separate Fear From Truth4) Re-centre on Desire With One Clean Question 5) Make One Self-Trust Move This WeekSOUL – Journal promptsWhose voice do I hear when I imagine changing my life? What story did someone else write for me that I never consciously questioned? What version of me did I become to stay safe, approved of, or accepted? What is it costing me to keep listening?UNIVERSAL GUIDANCE – Two of CupsThis card is often associated with partnership, harmony, and mutual choice. But today, I want you to see it as something deeper. The Two of Cups is about inner union. It’s the moment you stop abandoning yourself. The moment you choose alignment over approval. The moment you meet yourself honestly — and say, I choose you. This card asks:Can you trust yourself enough to walk forward without external validation? Can you honour your truth, even if it disrupts the life you’ve carefully built? This isn’t about burning everything down. It’s about coming back into right relationship with yourself. And when you do — everything else begins to rearrange. Are you to experience The Shift? The Shift is a 90-minute private mentoring session where we slow everything down, get radically honest, and create clarity around what needs to change — so you can move forward with intention rather than momentum. It’s for the woman who knows she can’t walk the same path this year and doesn’t want to wait until December to realise that nothing changed. You can find out more information and  book your session HERE🙌🏼 Loved this episode? If this resonated with you, I would be so grateful if you could:✨ Follow or subscribe to the podcast so you never miss an episode✨ Rate and review — it helps more women find this space✨ Share this episode with a friend who’s on the edge of something extraordinary🌐 Connect with MeLet’s keep this conversation going!📸 Instagram: @becomingnoordinarywoman🌍 Website: www.joannapetrierout.com💌 Email: [email protected]

Episode 35 -Vision Boards – The Magnetic Power of Blending Science, Soul & Self-Leadership

In this episode of Becoming No Ordinary Woman, Joanna explores the magnetic power of vision boards when they are created through a blend of science, soul, and self-leadership. She reframes vision boards as an intentional alignment tool rather than wishful thinking or surface-level inspiration, explaining why they work when identity, emotion, and nervous system readiness are honoured.Joanna shares the neuroscience principles that make vision boards effective, alongside spiritual concepts such as Ask–Believe–Receive, showing why both structure and ritual are essential. Drawing on her own lived experience, she guides listeners through how to create a vision board that stretches without overwhelming, supports emotional safety, and anchors desired results through aligned mindset, behaviour, and action. This episode weaves together the core themes of the January arc — word of the year, memory-making, and consciously choosing a path — and closes with an invitation to move beyond imagining a new era and begin inhabiting it, one aligned choice at a time.TakeawaysVision boards are not fluff — and they are not magic; they work when science and soul meet. The brain resists sudden, unsafe change, even when the vision is positive.A vision board should stretch you without overwhelming your nervous system.Emotion is the accelerator — how you want to feel matters more than what you want to have.Identity leads behaviour; lasting change begins with who you choose to be.Alignment looks like thoughts → emotions → behaviour → actions → results.Reverse engineering your vision creates clarity and momentum.Vision boards work for both micro change and full transformation — the principles stay the same.Ceremony matters; presence and intention amplify the power of creation.A new era doesn’t begin in imagination — it begins in how you choose to live, now.StrategyBefore you even begin collecting images, the pre-work matters.A vision board is not the starting point — it’s the integration.Your pre-work might include:Your word of the yearMemory making: “What kind of year do I want to remember?”Choosing a path: comfort or expansionCompleting the Wheel of LifeExploring your Be / Do / HaveOnce you have clarity, reverse engineer the vision:Results – What do I want to experience or create?Actions & behaviours – How does the woman living this life move through her days?Emotions – How does she feel most of the time?Mindset & identity – Who has she chosen to be?Your images should reflect all layers, not just the outcome. That is the difference between intention and hope.UNIVERSAL GUIDANCEQueen of SwordsShe represents clarity, discernment, and self-leadership.The Queen of Swords doesn’t fantasise. She chooses. And then she aligns her life accordinglyHer message is simple:Be honest about what you’re choosing — and what you’re no longer willing to tolerate.Your vision doesn’t need to be prettier. It needs to be truer.Clarity is not harsh.Clarity is leadership. An Invitation - Are you to experience The ShiftThe Shift is a 90-minute private mentoring session where we slow everything down, get radically honest, and create clarity around what needs to change — so you can move forward with intention rather than momentum.

Episode 34 - Intentionally choosing the tone for 2026

SummaryIn this episode of Becoming No Ordinary Woman, Joanna discusses the importance of approaching the new year with intention rather than self-judgment. She emphasises the significance of identity over goals, introducing the concept of a 'word of the year' as an anchor for personal growth. Joanna encourages listeners to focus on creating meaningful memories instead of merely achieving milestones and to consciously choose between a default path and a soul-led path. The episode concludes with a call to commit to an extraordinary year through intentional choices.TakeawaysThis year is not over. You have not failed.Extraordinary years are chosen, not stumbled into.Your word is an identity anchor.Memory-led years change who you are. What memories do you want to create this year?Choosing the soul-led path doesn't mean life becomes easy. What you don't change, you choose. The friction you feel this year doesn't mean you're on the wrong path. This does not have to be just another year.Let's choose extraordinary togetherStrategy - The Three Tools:1 - Choose a word of the year that serves as your context for 20262 - Create a year of memories - Make a list of the things you would love to intentionally experience this year 3 - Choose your path - The default path or The Soul PathSoul - Journal Prompts:What tone are you choosing to live from this year? What word feels like an identity shift for you? What intentional memories do you want to create — and why do they matter?Which path are you consciously stepping onto? What are you no longer willing to carry into this year?Universal Guidance - 5 of WandsThis card is often misunderstood. It’s not about chaos. It’s not about things going wrong. It’s about friction during growth. The Five of Wands appears when:Old identities and new identities are co-existingDifferent desires are alive inside youThe familiar self and the emerging self are negotiating spaceWhen you choose a new path, harmony doesn’t arrive first.Dialogue does. Episode 33 - How to close the chapter before you write the next one : The powerful step most women skip each January

SummaryIn this episode of "Becoming No Ordinary Woman," Joanna emphasises the importance of reflecting on the past year before diving into new resolutions. She highlights that a staggering 88% of New Year's resolutions are often abandoned by mid-January, largely due to the rush to set goals without properly closing out the previous year. Joanna advocates for a more intentional approach, suggesting that the winter season is a time for rest, integration, and reflection rather than forcing growth. She shares her personal journey through a challenging year, illustrating how taking the time to pause and reflect can lead to meaningful insights and a clearer path forward.Joanna introduces practical strategies for closing out the year with intention, focusing on honest reflection and conscious release. She outlines four key areas to explore: identifying peak moments, learning from challenges, recognising personal growth, and understanding the mindset that dominated the year. By engaging in this reflective process, listeners can gain clarity and set themselves up for a more fulfilling year ahead, embracing their personal power and narrative.Strategy1. Review your peak moments in 2025 and look for commonalitiesWhat was common about these moments?Who were you with?Which of your values were being activated?2. Review what didn’t go so well —  what did it teach you?3 Review your personal growth:What mindset dominated your year? What emotions did you most frequently experience? What energy did you lead with, masculine or feminine? What actions did you take towards your big goals/ dreams?4 What identity did you embody and how did this serve you? Decision points: What are you leaving behind because it no longer serves me? What are taking with you into 2026 to make it your most fully lived year yet? What if you wrote the 2026 version of you a letter, what would yousay? SOUL — Journaling for Compassionate CompletionWhat are you proud of yourself for surviving last year? What did you give your energy to that you no longer want to carry forward? What part of you is tired — and what does she need now? What truth became clear only through lived experience? If last year was a chapter title, what would it be — and what title feels true for the chapter ahead?UNIVERSAL WISDOM — The StarThe Star always appears after upheaval. After endings. After something has fallen away.It is not a card of urgency or striving. It doesn’t ask you to prove anything. It is a card of restoration.Of healing.Of renewed trust. The Star reminds us that hope doesn’t come from pushing forward. It comes from laying things down. From honesty. From gentleness. From allowing yourself to begin again without dragging the past behind you. This is the energy of conscious completion. You don’t need to rush the next chapter. You need to trust that something new can emerge when you stop carrying what’s complete. Are YOU ready to experience The Shift? The Shift is a 90-minute private mentoring session where we slow everything down, get radically honest, and create clarity around what needs to change — so you can move forward with intention rather than momentum. It’s for the woman who knows she can’t walk the same path this year and doesn’t want to wait until December to realise that nothing changed. You can book your session HERE🙌🏼 Loved this episode? If this resonated with you, I would be so grateful if you could:✨ Follow or subscribe to the podcast so you never miss an episode✨ Rate and review — it helps more women find this space✨ Share this episode with a friend who’s on the edge of something extraordinary🌐 Connect with MeLet’s keep this conversation going!📸 Instagram: @becomingnoordinarywoman🌍 Website: www.joannapetrierout.com💌 Email: [email protected]

Episode 32 - My January Rituals: The four tools I use to create an extraordinary year

In this episode, Joanna shares how she intentionally enters a new year rather than rushing into it, and why January is a powerful threshold for choosing the same path or the soul path. She introduces the four rituals she uses each January to create an extraordinary year — including her word for the year, reflective review, designing a year of memories, and vision boarding — alongside powerful journal prompts to uncover true desires and universal guidance from the Strength tarot card. This episode is an invitation to slow down, listen deeply, and consciously choose your No Ordinary Woman era.The Rituals:1 Chose a word for the year to create a powerful context to help lead yourself forward2 Review the year that has just passed - what were your lessons? What were your strengths? What were you most grateful for?3 Create memories - what memories do you want o look back on when you reach the end of the year. Be intentional about the memories you wish to create.4 Create a vision board - vision board are powerful tools, they are not just magic. In a later episode this month we will explore the science behind creating a powerful vision boardSOUL - some journal prompts for you:If no one else’s expectations mattered this year, what would I secretly want more of?Where in my life do I feel most alive — and where do I feel most constrained? What is that showing me?What desire keeps returning, even when I try to ignore it?If I trusted myself completely, what would I choose next? What kind of woman do I want to be at the end of this year — not what do I want to achieve, but who do I want to embody?A bonus one…If you were to fully embrace your No Ordinary Woman Era, what would that unleash for you?Universal Guidance - StrengthAs always, I pulled a tarot card to support this episode — and I pulled the Major Arcana card Strength. And I love this so much for January.Because Strength is not about force. It’s not about pushing. It’s not about proving anything.Strength is quiet confidence.Inner steadiness. The courage to lead yourself with compassion rather than control. This card reminds us that the most powerful kind of strength comes from trust:Trust in yourself.Trust in your instincts.Trust in your ability to meet whatever this year brings.Strength asks us:Where can you soften instead of harden?Where can you choose self-trust over self-doubt?This year doesn’t require you to become tougher. It asks you to become truer. Is it your turn  to experience The Shift?

Episode 31 - 5 Powerful Questions To Supercharge Your Year

Happy New Year! This is the final in the Festive mini series designed to help you close out 2025 and step powerfully into 2026.I share 5 questions to help you step into the identity you want to embody this year. Grab your journal and have fun exploring these questions...QUESTION 1 — “Who do I refuse to be anymore?”QUESTION 2 — “What desire have I been too afraid to admit?”QUESTION 3 — “What emotional state will I no longer negotiate with?”QUESTION 4 — “What identity do I need to embody to hold the life I want?”QUESTION 5 — “What becomes possible when I lead myself?”UNIVERSAL GUIDANCE — Ten of WandsThe card that came through for this episode is the Ten of Wands, and its timing couldn’t be more aligned with the beginning of a new year. This card is a mirror — showing us the weight we’ve normalised, the responsibilities we’ve absorbed, and the invisible emotional loads we’ve been carrying out of habit, not necessity. The Ten of Wands arrives when a woman has taken on so much that she can no longer see the path ahead clearly. And its message for you is simple but liberating: You were never meant to carry it all. This is the year where you stop dragging old expectations, outdated identities, and inherited pressures into your future. The questions you’re reflecting on today aren’t just about vision — they’re about release. They’re about choosing what is yours to hold, and gently setting down everything that blocks your capacity to rise. The Ten of Wands invites you into a new level of self-leadership — one where you lead from clarity, not overwhelm; from intention, not obligation. Your next chapter requires space. Let this be the moment you create it.If you would love my support to help you develop deep clarity and confidence about the woman you are becoming in 2026, why not book a Complimentary Discovery Call?I will gift you an hour of coaching to help you move forward with clarity and confidence and avoid living the same year on repeat. Episode 30 - Stepping into Your Next Level - An End of Year Transition Visualisation

I hope you love this special episode to close the year out.The tarot card I pulled for this Threshold Ceremony is Temperance, and its message could not be more aligned with what this episode holds. Temperance is the energy of integration — the gentle blending of who you were with who you are becoming. It’s the reminder that transformation isn’t abrupt or forceful; it’s a sacred alchemy. This card invites you to honour the middle space, the in-between, the moment where the old self has dissolved but the new self is still forming. Temperance whispers: “There is no rush. Your becoming unfolds in perfect timing.” As you move through this guided visualisation, allow the energy of Temperance to hold you — balancing what you’re releasing with what you’re ready to receive, helping you step through the doorway of your next chapter with softness, harmony, and inner peace.I wish you a Happy New Year and I hope you join me for Season Two of Becoming No Ordinary Woman in January

Episode 28 You Don't Need Resolutions - You Need Rest

SHOW NOTESThe StoryIn this episode of Becoming No Ordinary Woman, Joanna reflects on her journey over the past year, sharing her disdain for New Year's resolutions and advocating for a more compassionate approach to personal growth. She emphasises the importance of rest, recovery, and setting intentions rather than rigid goals. Joanna discusses how societal pressures can lead to burnout and encourages listeners to embrace their natural rhythms, especially during the winter months. By focusing on intentions and feelings, rather than strict outcomes, she believes individuals can create a more fulfilling and authentic life. The episode concludes with practical strategies for setting intentions and a reminder to be kind to oneself during the transition into the new year.TakeawaysJoanna won an award for her podcast, highlighting its success. She dislikes New Year's resolutions, advocating for rest instead.Resolutions often stem from a belief that something is wrong with us.The nervous system needs safety, not pressure, for transformation.High-achieving women often feel exhausted due to societal pressures.Intentions provide freedom and direction without rigidity.Rest is essential for clarity and decision-making.Setting intentions can lead to more fulfilling outcomes.Transformation is a steady process, not a dramatic overhaul.Self-kindness is crucial during the transition into a new year. The StrategyYOUR strategy is simple: Rest → Feel → Intend → Trust → ActNot hustle. Not reinvention. Not pressure. Not punishment. This is how you build a year you don’t need to recover from. The Soul - Journal prompts1. Where in my life am I craving rest before I choose a direction?2. What intentions feel spacious and energising — rather than rigid or demanding?3. Which feelings do I want to lead me next year?4. Episode 27 2025 is the year that changed you - even if it didn't feel like progress

The StoryIn this episode, Joanna reflects on the emotional journey of the past year, emphasising the importance of recognising internal growth even when external progress seems minimal. She shares personal experiences and insights gained throughout the year, highlighting the significance of quiet evolution and transformation. Joanna provides practical steps for listeners to evaluate their year, recognizs invisible wins, and prepare for the upcoming year with intention and clarity.TakeawaysDecember brings a mix of emotions: relief, fatigue, gratitude.Quiet years often lead to significant internal changes.Transformation is about feeling friction between old and new identities.Recognising invisible wins is crucial for personal growth.Your nervous system plays a key role in change and clarity.Preparation is more important than achievement in personal growth.Choosing one thing to let go of can break patterns effectively.Micro embodiments can create lasting change.Ending the year with intention sets the stage for the next.Strategy1. Do a Nervous System Debrief (5 minutes)Most women only evaluate the outcomes of their year.Very few evaluate the state they lived the year from.2 Identify Your “Invisible Wins” (Identity-Based Progress)Your brain is wired to track what didn’t happen — not what did.To override this, answer:Who did I become this year that I wasn’t last year? What behaviours did I stop tolerating?Where did I tell the truth, set boundaries, or listen to my intuition? What did I outgrow?3. Complete A “Preparation Audit”This year wasn’t about achievement — it was about preparation. What did this year prepare me for? What new skills, strengths, or insights will matter for who I’m becoming? What pain, loss, or tension was actually clearing space? What inner work happened that will make my next chapter possible?4 Choose Your “One Thing I’m Not Carrying Into 2026”Every December, women try to change everything. But your brain cannot process or sustain 20 new commitments. It can sustain one5. Anchor Your Future Self Through Micro-EmbodimentsBig goals don’t create change.Nervous-system-friendly micro-embodiments do.Soul - Journal PromptsWhere did I evolve quietly this year, even when I didn’t see it happening?Which moments felt small at the time but were actually turning points? What pain, confusion, or stillness was actually preparing me for the future? What did I outgrow — emotionally, spiritually, or energetically? If I trusted that nothing was wasted this year, how would I see myself differently?Universal GuidanceThe 5 of Wands is a card of tension, friction, and inner competition, but not in a negative way.It represents the energetic chaos that happens right before a breakthrough — the internal wrestling between old identity and new identity. It’s the part of the journey where it feels like:You’re pulled in five directionsYou’re questioning everythingYou’re battling old patternsNothing feels clearAnd everything feels “in progress”But here’s the gift of the 5 of Wands:It tells you that this friction is creative. It’s purposeful. It’s shaping you. It’s preparing you. It’s shaking loose what you can’t carry into the next chapter.JOIN THE EVOLUTION EDIT - A FREE 12 days of empowerment challenge🙌🏼 Loved this episode? If this resonated with you, I would be so grateful if you could:✨ Follow or subscribe to the podcast so you never miss an episode✨ Rate and review — it helps more women find this space✨ Share this episode with a friend who’s on the edge of something extraordinary🌐 Connect with MeLet’s keep this conversation going!📸 Instagram: @becomingnoordinarywoman🌍 Website: www.joannapetrierout.com💌 Email: [email protected] you for listening — and for choosing to become No Ordinary Woman.See you next week.

Episode 26 The dream beyond the dream - When life doesn't go to plan and there is something better waiting

The StoryIn this episode, Joanna discusses the journey of navigating disappointment and finding hope in new dreams. She shares her personal experiences with infertility and how it led her to discover a new purpose in entrepreneurship. Joanna emphasises the importance of acknowledging grief, creating emotional space, and taking self-led actions to embrace new possibilities. The conversation serves as a guide for women who feel caught between lost dreams and undiscovered paths, encouraging them to trust the process of becoming.TakeawaysEven when you can't see the results of your effort yet, keep going. This episode is for any woman grieving the life she thought she'd be living. When a dream dies, you lose the version of yourself who believed in it.One dream ending is not the end; it creates space for another dream.Grief is not the opposite of possibility; it creates possibility.Your next dream won't arrive because you figure it out; it will reveal itself because you move.Creating emotional spaciousness allows safety and enables creativity.Pay attention to anything that feels like aliveness; these sparks are invitations.Micro actions signal to your brain that you are no longer stuck. You didn't lose your dream; you're being invited into the one that was always meant for you.StrategyAcknowledge the ending — without making it mean you’ve failed.Identify the identity you were attached to — and the expectations tied to it.Create emotional spaciousness — honour the grief AND the possibility.Follow the spark — the subtle pull toward what feels alive.Lead yourself in the direction of the new dream Take one self-led micro-action — because clarity comes from movement, not thinking.Soul - Journal promptsWhat is the dream you’ve had to let go of?Who were you trying to become through that dream? What space has been created in your life now? What whisper have you been ignoring? And what is one small, brave, self-led step you can take this week?UNIVERSAL GUIDANCE — The Wheel (Major Arcana)The card I pulled for this episode is The Wheel — a Major Arcana card, and one of the most perfect guides for this conversation. The Wheel represents:cyclesfateturning pointsdivine timingthe unexpected shift that changes everythingThis card reminds you that life moves in seasons. What feels like an ending is often just the turning of the wheel — the moment the universe shifts you from one path to the next. The Wheel asks you to trust the movement. To trust the timing. To trust that your life is unfolding in ways you cannot yet see.And to trust that you are being guided toward the dream beyond the dream.Join me for the AWAKEN journey?Awaken is my private 1-1 coaching programme designed to support women who are stuck in a life that looks but feels wrong gain the clarity, courage and commitment to claim their next level. Episode 25 The Power of Science and Spirit - why I blend neuroscience with metaphysics to create unstoppable transformation

The StoryIn this episode of 'Becoming No Ordinary Woman', Joanna explores the fusion of neuroscience and metaphysics as a transformative approach for high-achieving women. She shares her personal journey of reconciling the logical and intuitive aspects of herself, the power of manifestation, and the importance of blending strategy with soul to achieve extraordinary results. Joanna emphasises that feeling stuck is often an illusion created by outdated beliefs and identities, and invites listeners to embrace their full selves to unlock their potential.TakeawaysThe blend of neuroscience and metaphysics is key to transformation. Many women feel torn between logic and intuition.Manifestation can lead to significant life changes.Your energy and identity shape your experiences.Neuroscience helps rewire the brain for change.Metaphysics shifts identity and energetic alignment.Feeling stuck is often an illusion of old beliefs.Combining strategy and soul leads to unstoppable results. The Strategy1. Neuroscience: The Brain Keeps You Where You AreYour brain’s job is survival, not expansion. It loves the familiar. It runs on patterns. It resists anything new — even when the new thing is the life you desperately want. This is where procrastination, self-doubt, imposter syndrome, overthinking, shrinking and starting-and-stopping come from. It’s not failure. It’s conditioning.2. Metaphysics: Your Energy Determines Your Identity and PossibilityNeuroscience can shift thoughts — but metaphysics shifts identity.Your frequency, intention, and energetic alignment are what magnetise experiences toward you. This is why you can “know what to do”… but not do it.Because the identity hasn’t changed. The energy hasn’t matched the vision.3. The Bridge: Why You Need BothNeuroscience rewires the pattern.Metaphysics rewrites the identity.Together, they make you unstoppable. The Soul - journal promptsWhere are you split between who you’ve been and who you’re becoming?Where do you override your intuition because it isn’t “practical”?Where do you silence your desires because they don’t fit the identity you’ve outgrown?Ask yourself:What identity are you still living in because it feels familiar? What beliefs are still defining you even though they’re expired? What version of you is waiting patiently for you to open the door?Universal GuidanceThe Eight of Swords represents the illusion of stuckness.A woman blindfolded, surrounded by swords… believing she has no way out.But if she removes the blindfold…if she takes one brave step forward…she realises the path has been open the whole time. This card is a mirror:You are not trapped.Your circumstances are not permanent.Your potential is not blocked. You’re simply looking through the lens of old beliefs, old conditioning, old identities. And the moment you shift your perspective, the moment you combine science and soul, the cage dissolves.Your power returns.Have you joined Stuck to Unstoppable?JOIN MY FREE 5 DAY SPRINT HERE - “Stuck to Unstoppable - the neuroscience of breaking free from the life you’ve outgrown”I will be leading my first live online sprint over five days from the 24th November. Episode 24 You don't need more time, you need more truth.

The StoryIn this episode of Becoming No Ordinary Woman, Joanna shares her personal journey of overcoming the limiting belief that she didn't have enough time to pursue her dreams. She emphasises the importance of aligning one's truth with actions and how fear often masquerades as a lack of time. Through her unique H4 activation model, Joanna guides listeners on how to shift their mindset, honour their emotions, connect with their higher selves, and take aligned actions to reclaim their time and live authentically. The episode concludes with an invitation to a transformative five-day event designed to help participants break free from limiting beliefs and activate their self-leadership.TakeawaysYou don't need more time, you need more truth. The stories we tell ourselves can keep us stuck.Fear often masquerades as a lack of time.Aligning your actions with your truth creates momentum.Your mission can be bigger than your fears.Time expands when you live in your truth.Emotional mastery is key to recognising misalignment.Visualising your desired self can guide your actions.Taking aligned actions signals readiness to the universe. You were never out of time, just out of truth. The Strategy🧠 Head — Mindset MasteryFirst comes awareness. You have to recognise the story you’re telling yourself. The next time you hear yourself say, “I don’t have time,” pause and ask:👉 “Is this story protecting me or progressing me?”💓 Heart — Emotional MasteryThe next step is to honour what you feel. The frustration. The guilt. The overwhelm. These emotions aren’t proof that you can’t handle more — they’re messages from your soul.✨ Higher Self — Energetic MasteryThis is where you connect to your inner knowing — your higher self.Close your eyes and visualise the woman who’s already living the life you desire. She’s not rushing. She’s not apologising. She’s not waiting for more time — she’s creating it.✋ Hands — Embodiment MasteryFinally, truth without action is just awareness. So take one aligned action today.Just one.Say no to one thing that isn’t aligned with your truth — maybe it’s an obligation, a commitment, a habit that drains you.And say yes to one thing that moves you closer to your vision. The Soul - Journal promptsWhat story am I telling myself about time — and what truth am I avoiding? What am I afraid will happen if I go all in on what I really want?If I trusted myself completely, what would I choose to prioritise this week?Universal Guidance - The card I pulled today is the Ten of Wands. It’s the image of a woman carrying too much — weighed down by responsibilities, expectations, and obligations that aren’t even hers to hold. This card doesn’t say you’re doing too much — it says you’re carrying the wrong things. The weight you feel isn’t from lack of time. It’s from holding up a version of yourself that you’ve already outgrown.JOIN MY FREE 5 DAY SPRINT HERE - “Stuck to Unstoppable - the neuroscience of breaking free from the life you’ve outgrown”I will be leading my first live online sprint over five days from the 24th November. Episode 23 When success stops feeling like success.

The StoryIn this conversation, Joanna discusses the importance of recognising when one's life feels unfulfilling and the call to embrace change. She emphasises the need for curiosity and self-discovery as pathways to uncovering untapped potential and becoming the best version of oneself.TakeawaysThere's more potential in you that you have not realised yet. That restless whisper is not asking you to burn everything down. It's simply inviting you to stop settling.Start getting curious again. There's a version of you waiting on the other side. The woman that you were always meant to be.Embrace change as a part of growth.Curiosity leads to self-discovery.The Strategy1. Tell yourself the truth.Stop pretending everything’s fine. It’s not ungrateful to admit that what once fulfilled you no longer does.2. Reconnect with your values.Success often gets defined by titles, achievements, or possessions — but real fulfilment comes from alignment.3. Notice where you’ve been performing.Pay attention to the moments you smile through frustration, say yes when you mean no, or shrink your truth to keep the peace.4. Create space before clarity. You don’t find clarity in noise or overthinking — you create it through stillness, reflection, and courage.5. Choose differently — even in one small way.The truth is, what you’re not changing, you’re choosing. So, start small. Make one decision today that reflects who you are becoming, not who you’ve been. The Soul - journal promptsTake your journal, or a walk, and explore these reflections:Truth:Where in my life have I been saying “it’s fine” when it really isn’t?(Notice what situations instantly come to mind — that’s your truth speaking.)Values:What actually matters to me now — not five years ago, not to anyone else, but right now?(Let your answers be simple and raw. These are your new metrics for success.)Performance:Where am I still performing for approval or safety? And what would it look like to show up as my real self there?Space:What one small pocket of time or space can I protect this week to listen to myself again?(Clarity can’t find you if there’s no room to land.)Choice:What’s one decision — however small — that reflects the woman I’m becoming, not the one I’ve been?Pause on whichever question feels most alive for you.Universal GuidanceThe card I pulled for this episode was the Four of Cups.It shows a woman sitting beneath a tree, surrounded by what she’s built — the full cups of everything she once wanted.Yet she stares into the distance, feeling something missing. And off to the side, there’s another cup being offered — something new, something unknown — but she’s so focused on what already exists that she can’t see it.This card is the perfect mirror for this conversation. It’s not about dissatisfaction — it’s about truth. It’s that quiet moment when your soul says, “There’s something more for you, if you’re willing to reach for it.”Discontent isn’t failure. It’s guidanceCALL TO ACTIONAre you ready for AWAKEN? Episode 22 - The thing that scares me most (trigger warning- this might change your life)

The StoryIn this episode of the Becoming No Ordinary Woman podcast, Joanna reflects on the themes of mortality, regret, and the pursuit of a fulfilling life. She shares her personal journey, including the loss of her mother to cancer, which catalysed her mission to help women live authentically and without regret. Joanna emphasises the importance of recognising life's fragility and encourages listeners to take brave actions towards their dreams. She provides practical strategies for self-discovery and living fully, urging everyone to choose courage over comfort. The TakeawaysThe fear of regret can be a powerful motivator.Life is too short to settle for mediocrity.Personal loss can lead to profound life changes. It's essential to listen to your inner voice.Living authentically requires courage and action.Dreams should not be postponed indefinitely.Recognising when you're out of alignment is crucial.Daily rituals can help reconnect with your desires.Taking small steps can lead to significant changes. Each day is an opportunity to live fully. The Strategy1. Stop Numbing and Start NoticingWe fill our days with busyness, scrolling, distractions — anything to avoid hearing the quiet truth that we’re not happy.Today, make a promise to notice. When do you feel most alive? When do you feel drained or disconnected?2. The 10,000-Day AuditGrab a journal or a piece of paper. Draw two columns: Life Lived and Life Left.Under “Life Lived,” write everything you’re proud of — moments, memories, decisions that made you feel alive.Under “Life Left,” write what you still long to experience, create, or become. Then ask yourself: What am I no longer available to postpone?3. Choose One Brave ActionBig lives aren’t built in giant leaps — they’re built through daily acts of courage. What’s one decision you’ve been avoiding that could bring more aliveness into your life right now?Do it this week. Don’t wait for perfect clarity. You’ll grow into readiness by moving.4. Build Your Aliveness RitualToo often, we ignore the whisper of our soul because we know it is not right and we are not ready to receive the wisdom its guiding us too.Create a daily ritual — five quiet minutes to reconnect with your desires.Ask: “What would make me feel most alive today?”Then honour it, even if it’s something small. The Soul - journal promotes to help youWhere am I letting comfort steal my courage? What dream or desire keeps whispering to me no matter how much I try to ignore it?What would my life look like if I started living like time was sacred?🔮 Universal Guidance — Four of SwordsThis card appears after a period of battle and make no mistake, living a life un-lived is a battle of the soul. The Four of Swords is your reminder that stillness is preparation. It’s about withdrawing from the noise so you can hear the guidance of your higher self. Episode 21 - The two words that keep you stuck or unleash your potential

The StoryIn this episode of Becoming No Ordinary Woman, Joanna explores the transformative power of the phrase 'what if.' She discusses how this simple mindset shift can lead to either fear or possibility, sharing personal stories and practical steps to help listeners embrace their potential. Through her journey, Joanna illustrates the importance of choosing empowering thoughts and offers actionable strategies to shift from fear-based thinking to a mindset of possibility and growth.TakeawaysThe words you choose reveal your mindset and beliefs.'What if' can either inspire or instill fear.Doubts can stall dreams and lead to playing small.Transforming fear-based thoughts into possibility is crucial.Awareness of thought patterns can be transformational.Practicing new thought patterns can change your life.Self-trust is essential for overcoming fear.Your energy impacts the life you live.Choosing possibility over fear leads to empowerment. The Strategy1. Notice your “What If” patterns. For the next 24 hours, I want you to simply observe. Every time you catch yourself saying or thinking “What if…”, pause. Ask yourself:👉 “Is this thought rooted in fear or possibility?”No judgment, just awareness. This step alone can be transformational — because most of us run fear-based “What ifs” on autopilot.2. Flip the script.Once you spot the fear-based “What ifs”, consciously rewrite them. For example:“What if I fail?” → “What if I succeed beyond my wildest dreams?”“What if they judge me?” → “What if my courage inspires them?”“What if I’m not ready?” → “What if this is exactly the right time?”This is about training your mind to look for evidence of possibility rather than danger.3. Anchor into trust. When fear creeps in, add this phrase:👉 “What if… and I’ll be okay.”It doesn’t deny reality — it reminds your nervous system that you can handle whatever comes. That self-trust changes everything.4. Episode 20 -Stop Calling It Imposter Syndrome. Start Calling It Growth – Choosing to reframe when self sabotage is kicking your butt

The StoryIn this episode, Joanna delves into the pervasive issue of imposter syndrome and self-sabotage, exploring how these feelings manifest even in successful individuals. She shares personal anecdotes and insights on how to recognise and combat these negative patterns, emphasising the importance of self-awareness and changing one's narrative. Joanna provides practical strategies to overcome imposter syndrome, encouraging listeners to embrace their worthiness and expand their capacity for joy and success.TakeawaysImposter syndrome is a feeling of inadequacy despite success.Your inner critic aims to keep you safe within your comfort zone.Self-sabotage resets your emotional thermostat when you exceed your limits.Recognising your sabotage patterns is the first step to overcoming them.Hidden beliefs drive self-sabotaging behaviorus.Celebrating small wins is crucial for building confidence.Accepting compliments is a way to acknowledge your worth.Changing the narrative can help combat feelings of inadequacy. You are worthy of success, love, and joy without needing to prove it.Noticing sabotage signals a breakthrough is near. The StrategySpot Your Sabotage Pattern – Become aware of the habits that you have that signal that you are sabotaging.Name the Hidden Belief – Our behaviour is driven by the beliefs we hold whether they are conscious or subconscious. Next time you feel imposter syndrome or self sabotage kicking in, stop and ask yours elf “What belief says I can’t have this much success/love/joy?”. Expand Your Capacity for Joy – Practice sitting with good feelings without rushing to the next worry. How many times do you just let your achievements pass by without a pause for celebration?Change the narrative – Remember: you’re not sabotaging because you don’t want it — you’re sabotaging because you’ve been brave enough to push outside your comfort zone. You are stretching. It is time to change the narrative. You can tell yourself you are feeling unsettled because you are pushing yourself and you are going to get found out OR you can choose a different story. The Soul - journal promptsWhen things are going well, how do I tend to sabotage myself? What belief might be hiding underneath that behaviour? If I believed I was safe to have even more joy/success/love, what would I do differently today? If I chose to believe in my brilliance, how differently might I show up?What is my trigger for knowing that imposter syndrome is creeping in?Universal guidance - The Queen of PentaclesThe Queen of Pentacles invites you to rise with calm authority, to expand your capacity for good things, and to lead from a place of wholeness. It reminds us that leadership is not just about action, but about perspective. Standing at the threshold of possibility, you hold the choice: do you rush ahead with assumptions, or do you expand your view and see the whole horizon before you? This card invites you to step into your role as the visionary of your own life — to make choices from a place of understanding, clarity, and expanded awareness. Episode 17 From Overlooked to Unstoppable - When comparison becomes the thief of dreams

SHOWNOTESSummaryThe StoryIn this episode, Joanna discusses the powerful shift in mindset that comes from recognising that being underestimated does not equate to unworthiness. Through the story of Judith from the show Destination X, Joanna illustrates how underdogs can triumph against the odds by staying focused, trusting their journey, and not succumbing to comparison. She emphasises the importance of self-belief, persistence, and the unique timing of each individual's path to success.TakeawaysBeing underestimated does not mean you are unworthy of dreams.Focus and observation can lead to success.Comparison can create a false narrative of being behind.Trusting your own timing is crucial for achieving dreams.Stay present and attentive to your own journey.Playing your own game is essential for success.Small consistent steps lead to extraordinary results.Self-doubt can create a mental prison. The limitations we feel are often self-imposed.You are capable and resourced to run your own race. The Strategy1. Stop comparing timelines.Comparison creates a false hierarchy. You might look at someone else and see them as “ahead” because they’ve achieved something you haven’t yet. But every dream has its own divine timing. 2. Stay present and attentive. In life, your experiences, setbacks, lessons, and even your pauses are all part of the toolkit you’ll eventually need. So instead of looking sideways, keep noticing what your own journey is teaching you. That’s your real advantage.3. Play your game. It’s tempting to try to replicate someone else’s strategy — to believe their way is the right way. But your path is unique. Their formula may not work for you, because it wasn’t designed for you. 4. Trust the long game. This isn’t about quick wins; it’s about building a life and a legacy. The tortoise didn’t win because he sprinted — he won because he kept going. Anchor mantra:“My path, my pace, my win.”The Soul - Your journal promptsWhere in your life do you currently feel like the underdog? What quiet advantages have you gained from your journey that you might be overlooking? If you stopped comparing, how would you approach your dream differently this week? What truth would you like to affirm for yourself right now about your timing? The Universal Guidance - 8 of SwordsThis card is here to remind you:👉 The limitations you feel are not the truth — they are the story you’re telling yourself.👉 The way forward is already available to you once you choose to see it.👉 You are never as trapped, stuck, or “behind” as your mind might make you believe.Free yourself from the illusion that comparison creates. The episode concludes with a powerful message about embracing change and reclaiming personal power.TakeawaysMany women feel overwhelmed and stuck in their lives. The Wheel of Life is a valuable tool for clarity.Focusing on one area of life can create a ripple effect.Small steps can lead to significant progress.Trying to change everything at once often leads to burnout.Making healthier choices can improve multiple life areas.Self-trust is essential for personal growth. You don't have to fix everything at once. One intentional shift can lead to transformation. The Strategy5 steps to creating a shift in your lifeDecide on one area that needs to change and define the change you want to see. What empowering mindset will you need to adopt? Episode 13 Strategies to help you find the perfect coach for you

The StoryIn this episode, Joanna discusses the critical importance of choosing the right coach in the unregulated coaching industry. She shares her experiences and insights on what to look for in a coach, emphasising the need for integrity, respect, and a client-centred approach. Joanna outlines key considerations for potential clients, including the importance of feeling safe and respected, looking beyond hype, and assessing readiness for coaching. She concludes with a reminder that coaching should be viewed as a relationship built on mutual trust and emotional connection.TakeawaysChoosing a coach is one of the most important relationships you'll ever have. The right coach will never use fear or scarcity to get you to say yes. It's essential to feel safe, seen, and respected in a coaching relationship.Trust your instincts when selecting a coach; don't feel pressured.A good coach helps you walk the path to your dreams, not just sells you a dream.Regular coaching sessions create accountability and momentum.Be ready to be vulnerable and commit to the coaching process.Coaching is about moving forward, while therapy is about healing.See the coaching relationship as a partnership, not a transaction. The StrategyCheck the energy – Do you feel safe, seen, and respected in their presence? Or do you feel pressured, judged, or rushed? Trust your instincts. Look beyond the hype – A good coach isn’t just selling you a dream; they’re helping you walk the path to it. My advice would be to see if the coach is embodying what they are selling. Is the package right? – Do they hold a structure that creates the best environment for your success? One of the benefits of regular coaching is accountability because it helps keep you aligned to your goals and to achieve progress and momentum. Assess your own readiness – Are you willing to be vulnerable, take action, and commit? This is important. You need to know the time is right. Are there things from your past that are still holding you back that you can’t move past yet? Perhaps therapy is the better option in the first instance. See it as a relationship, not a transaction – This is someone who will be holding your dreams with you. That’s worth choosing carefully. Because a payment is involved, it is easy to see it is a transaction but you want someone by your side who connects with you and that you feel gets and understands where you are coming from. The Soul - journal promptsWhere in your life have you accepted a quick fix instead of choosing the deeper, more transformational route? What did you learn from this?If you were to choose a coach purely on alignment and chemistry, not pressure or urgency, what qualities would you look for? What would it feel like to be fully invested (emotionally, energetically, and financially) in your own growth?Universal Guidance Today I pulled the Ace of Cups — a card of emotional renewal, deep connection, and beginnings rooted in love and truth. In the context of coaching, it’s a reminder that the best partnerships are born from genuine emotional resonance and trust. The Ace of Cups is an invitation to choose relationships — whether personal or professional — that overflow with mutual respect, compassion, and authentic care.Call to ActionIf you have questions about choosing a coach, feel free to ask anything by dropping me an email to [email protected]🙌🏼 Loved this episode? If this resonated with you, I would be so grateful if you could:✨ Follow or subscribe to the podcast so you never miss an episode✨ Rate and review — it helps more women find this space✨ Share this episode with a friend who’s on the edge of something extraordinary 🌐 Connect with MeLet’s keep this conversation going!📸 Instagram: @becomingnoordinarywoman🌍 Website: www.joannapetrierout.com💌 Email: [email protected] Thank you for listening — and for choosing to become No Ordinary Woman.

Episode 12 What burnout taught me about the power of balancing your energy

The StoryIn this episode, Joanna explores the importance of balancing masculine and feminine energies to achieve personal and professional success without burnout. She shares her journey from a corporate career dominated by masculine energy to a more harmonious approach that incorporates both energies. Joanna provides practical steps for listeners to identify their default energy, recognise signs of imbalance, and intentionally balance these energies for a more fulfilling life.TakeawaysSuccess doesn't always mean constant action.Masculine energy thrives on structure and control.Feminine energy connects to creativity and flow. Both energies are essential for avoiding burnout.Ignoring warning signs can lead to serious consequences.Finding balance requires intentionality and awareness.Daily reflection on energy needs can guide actions.Dreaming without action leads to frustration.Connection with others enhances the balance of energies.Life becomes a celebration when both energies dance together. The Strategy1. Identify Your Default Energy - which energy do you use the most?2. Recognise the Signs of ImbalanceMasculine overdrive: Burnout. Over-controlling. Feeling disconnected from joy.Feminine overdrive: Procrastination. Ideas without follow-through. Feeling untethered.3. Balance with Intention - Make space for more of the energy you need to create balanceThe SoulWhere in your life are you pushing so hard that you are not ‘allowing’?Where are you dreaming without acting? What would it look like to lead from both your inner masculine and feminine in harmony?Universal GuidanceThe card I pulled for today’s episode is the Three of Cups. This card is all about connection, harmony, and the celebration that comes when we come together in balance. Traditionally, it represents friendship, sisterhood, and joyful collaboration — but in the context of today’s episode, I see it as a mirror of the masculine and feminine dance we’ve been talking about. The Three of Cups reminds us that we don’t have to do life alone, or from just one energy. It’s about weaving together the different aspects of ourselves — structure, flow, intuition, action — and letting them celebrate together, like old friends around a table. It’s also a reminder to receive support. To allow others to pour into us, just as we pour into them. That’s feminine energy in action — receiving with grace — balanced by the masculine energy of giving and holding space. If you’ve been stuck in overdrive or drifting in uncertainty, this card is a nudge to come back to balance and to connection. Connection with yourself. Connection with others who lift you up. And connection with the energies within you that, when they work together, create not just balance, but joy.So let this card be your reminder: when your masculine and feminine energies dance together, life doesn’t just flow — it becomes something worth celebrating.Call to action🙌🏼 Loved this episode? If this resonated with you, I would be so grateful if you could:✨ Follow or subscribe to the podcast so you never miss an episode✨ Rate and review — it helps more women find this space✨ Share this episode with a friend who’s on the edge of something extraordinary 🌐 Connect with MeLet’s keep this conversation going!📸 Instagram: @becomingnoordinarywoman🌍 Website: www.joannapetrierout.com💌 Email: [email protected] Thank you for listening — and for choosing to become No Ordinary Woman.

She shares her personal journey of embracing her differences, planning a life of adventure, and encouraging women to pursue their dreams without conforming to societal expectations. Joanna emphasizses the importance of self-belief, transformation, and the need for women to reclaim their unconventionality as a source of strength. Through her reflections and insights, she aims to inspire listeners to live authentically and courageously.TakeawaysEmbrace your unconventionality as a source of strength.Reflect on your life choices and intentions regularly.Pursue your dreams regardless of societal expectations.Transformation often requires shedding old identities. You are not alone in your unconventional journey.Define success on your own terms.Celebrate your unique path and experiences.Trust your inner voice and desires.Create a supportive community of like-minded women.Live authentically and courageously. The Strategy1 Spot the ConditioningAsk yourself:Where have I made my desires or dreams feel “too much”?Where have I tried to squeeze into boxes — just to be accepted, understood, or taken seriously?Where have I shrunk myself to avoid being labelled irrational, irresponsible, or in a crisis?Where have I tried to quieten the whisper of my soul?Society has told you your unconventionality is a flaw — when really, it’s your fiercest form of wisdom.2 Reframe the NarrativeIt’s time to shift the story:From → “Maybe I’m just not wired like other people…”To → “I’m wired for something more aligned, more free, more true.”3 Own Your Wild PathWhat part of your journey would make others raise an eyebrow… but lights you up inside?Name it. Episode 10 - Your superpowers are not flaws

The StoryIn this episode, Joanna discusses the importance of embracing one's superpowers and the journey towards self-acceptance and confidence. She shares her personal experiences and insights on how societal expectations often lead individuals, especially women, to downplay their unique gifts. Joanna provides a four-step process to help listeners reclaim their superpowers and live unapologetically, emphasising that these traits are not flaws but essential parts of one's identity. The episode concludes with a powerful reminder that the world needs the authentic self, not a diminished version.TakeawaysWe often shy away from speaking about our gifts.Being confident about your superpowers isn't arrogance, it's self-confidence.Superpowers include intuition, emotional intelligence, and seeing potential in others. Many women feel they need to tone down their gifts to fit in.The things we are told to quieten down are often our superpowers.Reclaiming your gifts can lead to empowerment and authenticity. It's important to show up unapologetically in all aspects of life. The world needs the real you, not a smaller version.Your superpowers were given to you on purpose for a purpose.Life moves in cycles, and it's time to embrace your true self. The Strategy1. Name It.What are the parts of you that you know you’ve been hiding? Episode 9 - Why I am grateful I got a 1* review

The Story In this episode of 'Becoming No Ordinary Woman', Joanna delves into the quiet moments that test our courage, particularly in the face of criticism and self-doubt. She shares a personal story about receiving a one-star review for her podcast, which triggers a deep exploration of her past experiences and the shame associated with them. Joanna emphasises the importance of feeling emotions, understanding the stories we tell ourselves, and developing strategies to overcome fear and criticism. She encourages listeners to embrace their flaws and reclaim their power, reminding them that true freedom comes from facing their fears head-on Takeaways·       The quiet moments of courage often test us the most.·       Criticism can trigger deep-seated feelings of shame and inadequacy.·       Past experiences can significantly influence our present behaviour.·       Visibility in our endeavours comes with risks and rewards.·       Emotions are meant to be felt and processed, not buried.·       Understanding our inner critic is crucial for personal growth.·       Reframing negative experiences can help us move forward.·       Returning to our 'why' can provide clarity and motivation.·       Courage is a muscle that strengthens with use.·       Facing our fears is essential for reclaiming our power. The Strategy1-     Feel it – Don’t bypass how you feel. Let yourself feel the sting. 2-     Name it – What story got activated? Is it “I’m not good enough”? “This means I’ve failed”? This is where it is powerful to listen into to what your inner critic is inevitably telling you.3-     Reframe it – Ask: Is this really about me? Or am I allowing myself to be kept small by someone else’s thoughts, opinions and insecurities.4-     Return to your why – Anchor back in. In these crunch moments, it is time to remember why you are doing the thing anyway. Why did you start? Who are you doing this for? 5-     Keep Going Anyway – Courage is a muscle. Every time you show up, you strengthen your resilience. The SoulHere are your journal prompts for this episode:·       What story do I tell myself when I feel judged or criticised?·       What would I do if I truly believed I was here to live an extraordinary life and not people please?·       Who loses out when I stay small to avoid discomfort?Universal Guidance – The Devil Card“In the darkness I am free to heal everything.”This card doesn’t represent evil, it represents the illusions that keep us stuck. The fears, shame, limiting beliefs, and unconscious patterns that quietly run the show in the background. It calls out the ways we give our power away to judgment, to old stories, to unspoken shame, and invites us to reclaim it.The Devil shines a light on our inner prisons. This card is a reminder that freedom doesn’t come from avoiding the darkness, it comes from facing it. Looking it in the eye and saying: “You don’t get to run my life anymore.”So if you’re carrying a fear that’s been keeping you quiet, keeping you small, let this card be your invitation to sit with it. Not to judge it. But to see it. To feel it. And to choose differently. You don’t need to fight your shadows, you just need to walk through them with the light of awareness.Take what resonates. Leave what doesn’t. 🙌🏼 Loved this episode? If this resonated with you, I would be so grateful if you could:✨ Follow or subscribe to the podcast so you never miss an episode

Episode 7 Become the CEO of Your Life

The StoryIn this episode, Joanna discusses the transformative power of adopting a CEO mindset in one's life. She emphasises the importance of taking control, setting a vision, and being accountable for one's happiness. Through personal anecdotes and strategies, she encourages listeners to embrace their authentic selves, define their dreams, and take actionable steps towards achieving them. The conversation culminates in a call to action for listeners to schedule their own 'CEO day' to reflect on their goals and aspirations.TakeawaysHonor your soul and create the extraordinary life you came here to.Being the CEO of your life means stepping up and being the leader of your life.We always think there is time, but it is never guaranteed. It's time to claim your identity as the CEO of your life.Visions are meant to be big and they're meant to be bold.Your mission statement is the compass that moves you in the direction of your big vision.Your values are your navigation system.Being the CEO of your life means you need to make decisions and take action.Celebrate all of the little wins along the way.The life you dream of is possible, but you must lead it into being. The StrategyHere are my 5 strategies for becoming the CEO of your life: 1 Shape your CEO identity -  It is time to claim your identity as the CEO of your life. This is you stepping into the most powerful and impactful leadership role of your life. 2 Shape Your vision – This is the ‘what’ When did you last allow yourself to dream? I know that you might be a bit rusty in terms of dreaming big about your own desires so here are three basic questions to get you started: · Who do you want to be? · What do you want to do? · What do you want to have? You are the CEO so you can shape this however you want to. 3 Your mission statementNow it’s time to write your mission statement. Your mission statement is the short statement that you will use as the compass that moves you in the direction of your big vision. It is the ‘how’ you are going to do something. 4 – Your values  Your values are your compass. They underpin your leadership identity which is about being authentically you. Your values are your navigation system. 5 – Strategy – Time to take action and be accountable Being the CEO of your life means you need to make decisions and take action. The SoulAsk yourself:Where in your life are you still waiting for permission? If you were the CEO of your life, what’s one thing you would stop tolerating? What would your future self — the one who’s living the life you desire — thank you for doing today? If your life was your company… would you promote yourself? Or would you need to make some serious changes? This shift into personal leadership isn’t about making yourself wrong for what has come before, it’s about honouring the vision that’s been quietly waiting for your attention. The Universal Guidance - Ten of PentaclesThis is a card of legacy. Of building something meaningful, lasting, and soul-aligned.It’s not about quick wins — it’s about long-term fulfilment. It indicates that love, abundance success and happiness is on its way to you.It is time to welcome its arrival and commit to your long term success Call to ActionSchedule your first CEO Day.Block out time. Episode 6 - The secret to finding your purpose using the LIFE model

The StoryIn this episode Joanna explores the concept of purpose, emphasising that it is not a destination to be found but a way of living authentically and fully. She shares her personal journey of discovering her purpose, the challenges she faced, and the framework she developed to help others find their own purpose. The Life Model framework consists of living authentically, making meaningful impact, embracing full self-expression, and finding joy. Joanna encourages listeners to align with their true selves and live in full expression, offering practical insights and a call to action for self-reflection.TakeawaysPurpose isn't something that you find, it's something you live.Purpose is feeling useful in your own way.You are here to leave an imprint that only you canPurpose is about Living In Full ExpressionThe LIFE model helps you feel more connected with your purposeThe StrategyThe LIFE model.L – Living AuthenticallyYou know who you are. And you show up as her.Not for applause — but for alignment.I — Impact That’s MeaningfulYou feel like you matter. Not in a saviour kind of way — but in a soul kind of way.F — Full Self-Expression and Lifelong GrowthYou allow yourself to evolve. To try. To become.E — Enjoyment and JoyYou make space for play. For pleasure. For lightness.Joy isn’t a luxury — it’s a compass. Here’s how to check in with the L.I.F.E. model — right now.Ask yourself these four questions. Score each one out of 10:1.     I know who I am and show up as myself each day.2.     I feel like what I do makes a difference.3.     I’m constantly evolving into my best self.4.     My life is fun.Where are you aligned?Where are you hiding?Let this be your purpose audit. When you look at your scores, it will easily show you where you might be out of balance. This is a tool you can revisit regularly to keep on track with how aligned you are with your purpose. The SoulJournal on this prompt:“Where in my life am I performing instead of living in full expression?”Then, choose one thing today that feels authentic, impactful, expressive, or joyful — and do it.Spiritual guidanceThe card I pulled for this episode is the Seven of Cups — and it couldn’t be more aligned. This card speaks of many choices, but also confusion. It reflects that moment when you're bombarded with options, ideas, versions of yourself you could be — and yet feel unable to choose.Purpose can feel like that. You ask:Should I do this job or that one?Start this business or pivot into something else?Move here or stay there? But the truth is...Clarity doesn’t come from more options, but from deeper alignment. Not from thinking harder, but from living more fully. That’s the invitation of the L.I.F.E. model. To come back to what feels real, resonant, and true.To Live in Full ExpressionI would love to hear what landed most for you in this episode. You can DM me on Instagram @becomingnoordinarywoman or email me [email protected] always love hearing for you!If this episode spoke to you, please subscribe/ comment/ leave a review. Please share this episode on your social media and tag me so I can celebrate you. alternatively if you know another woman who needs to hear this please share with her. Episode 5 - The Power of Unshakeable Identity

The StoryIn this episode, Joanna explores the concept of unshakeable identity, sharing her personal journey and the lessons learned from losing her identity multiple times. She emphasises the importance of building an identity rooted in personal values, superpowers, and purpose, rather than external roles or expectations. Joanna also addresses the common experience of imposter syndrome and offers strategies for overcoming it. The episode concludes with a reflection on the profound opportunity that arises from moments of identity crisis, encouraging listeners to embrace their true selves.Key TakeawaysOur identity is critical to how we show up for ourselves.Identity should not be shaped by roles or responsibilities. When your identity is built from within, you become unshakable.Values are your inner compass that guide your life.Your superpowers are unique gifts that define you.Purpose is a way of being, not just a role.Imposter syndrome is a narrative that can be changed. An unshakable identity gives freedom to be yourself.Building identity from within leads to true empowerment.Moments of unraveling can reveal your true identity.Six ways to create an Unshakeable Identity:1.     Name your values. Your values are the compass for who you are. Start there. 2.     Spot the superpowers. What are you naturally brilliant at? Ask people you trust. Reflect on moments when you felt fully alive. These are clues.3.     Track your triggers. Triggers often reveal where you’ve outsourced your worth. Notice where you feel reactive or not-enough — and ask, “What identity am I defending here?”4.     Craft your new identity statement. Try this prompt: I am a woman who... (e.g. “I am a woman who leads herself powerfully. Who chooses truth over approval. Who lives in alignment.”)5.     Practice being her. Embodiment is everything. Ask yourself each morning: How would the most aligned version of me show up today?6.     Anchor the new self. Find a piece of music that symbolises your Unshakeable identity. Play it loud and play it often. My Unshakeable Identity anthem is Katy Perry Roar. The Soul - Journal prompts• Where have you allowed external roles or expectations to define who you are?• Who are you beyond the titles, the achievements, the roles you play?• What are the 3 core values that truly define you — even if everything else were stripped away?• What parts of you have you hidden to stay “safe,” “liked,” or “approved of”?• What would it feel like to build your identity from within — based on truth, not performance?Universal Guidance – Ten of SwordsThe card I pulled for this episode is the Ten of Swords — a card that speaks of endings, rock bottom, and the deep pain that comes when an old version of ourselves dies off. This can feel brutal. It’s the collapse of everything you thought made you you — the roles, the achievements, the identity you built to survive or succeed. But this card isn’t just about pain — it’s about the profound opportunity that lives within that ending. The Ten of Swords reminds us that sometimes, your unshakeable identity isn’t built — it’s revealed… when everything else falls away. It’s in those moments when you feel like you’ve lost everything that your truth rises. Not the version of you shaped by others’ expectations — but the version that comes from deep within. If you're in a moment of unraveling, this card is your reminder:💫 The worst is behind you.💫 The sun is rising.💫 This is the beginning of your return to yourself.I would love to hear what landed most for you in this episode. You can DM me on Instagram at @becomingnoordinarywoman or email me at [email protected] — I always love hearing from you.If this episode spoke to you, please subscribe, share, and leave a review — it helps us reach even more extraordinary women who are ready to lead themselves and become who they were born to be.Thank you for being here.
