Before The Lights

Welcome to Before The Lights; a group of health professionals based in London who train people all over the creative world for TV, films, live tours but most importantly everyday life. We’ve been lucky enough to build up a pretty special group of members here at the club, so we thought it was about time for other people to get to know some of them as well as we do. In each episode we'll joined by one of our clients to discuss how they prepare physically and mentally for upcoming roles, the challenges of juggling life in the creative world and how they got it wrong along the way. Expect awe-inspiring stories about landing dream jobs as well as a healthy serving of how earth-shatteringly humbling Hollywood can be.DISCLAIMER: This is not a work out podcast, you will never have to do any exercise while listening to the show. S4 E26: TOM GLYNN-CARNEY

This week Dave and George are joined by Tom Glynn-Carney for a career-spanning chat that can generally be plotted out by a series of extreme haircuts. The episode also gives 2019's Tolkien an incredible amount of air time, including one of the best stories about Lord Of The Rings you ever likely to hear, and that's really not overselling it. Along the way Tom also discusses how Bryan Cranston helped create a "perfect" atmosphere behind-the-scenes on All My Sons and the trip to New York that almost made him miss the show's finale.
