Pastor Dan wrapped up our Summer Wisdom series by teaching that true wisdom is shown through kindness—rooted in God’s love, blessing both giver and receiver, and worth more than riches. Kindness isn’t forced effort but the Spirit’s fruit, shaping how we treat others and reflect God’s heart.

Pastor Dan reminded us that true wisdom begins with a teachable heart. Proverbs calls us to listen eagerly, seek godly counsel, and accept the Lord’s loving discipline. Wisdom is not a one-time achievement but a lifelong pursuit that grows through humility, openness, and obedience to God’s voice.

Dr. Loren Kerns taught from Proverbs 3:9–10, urging us to honor God by giving Him our first and best. True wealth is more than money—it’s relationships, character, and God’s grace—and our security comes from trusting Him, living generously, and reflecting His heart in all we do.

Pastor Dan taught that the “fear of the Lord” is not about dread or distance, but about awe, reverence, and living with a deep awareness of God’s holiness. Drawing from Proverbs and throughout Scripture, he showed how this holy fear is the starting point of wisdom, bringing protection, peace, moral character, humility, and lasting legacy. The fear of the Lord is timeless—woven through both Old and New Testaments—and leads us to worship, obedience, and a life aligned with God’s purposes.
