God renamed Abraham and Sarah after several failures to remind them of His faithfulness.

Barnabas means son of encouragement. What he is best known for is a sharp disagreement with Paul. This shows us that it is ok to have sharp disagreements, and that sometimes the healthiest action a person can take is to part ways in such a way that we can still be an encouragement to one another.

Do you let others define you or God?

God shows His love by giving His Son to redeem us.

There are many ways to activate the joy center of our brain, but the most effective way is by knowing that God delights in you.

Christians don't have a hoy or sacred place because Jesus is our holy place. He came and dwelt among us.

The Old Covenant was just a picture of the New. the author of Hebrews quotes Jeremiah 31 to prove his point.

Religion is just a shadow of the real thing, it can never be enough. Only Jesus can truly satisfy.

Under stress we revert back to legalism, we have to fight for grace.

Finding hope & patience and living it out.

Jesus became human, was tempted in every way, but did not sin. He did all this to break the power of death and make us Holy.Jesus is unashamed to call us brothers and sisters.

Keep focused on Jesus or we will drift. Jesus died for all of us.

No need for Jesus plus. Jesus is the fulfillment and is greater than angels.
