Mr. Culbertson and Dr. Miller dive into being male and made in the image from Genesis 1, Genesis 3, and Ephesians 5.Discussion questions:1) What are your felt expectations about being a man? Where do those come from and why do you think they matter?2) What are your highest expectations about being a man?3) What do you think are God's or the Bible's expectations about being a man?4) What challenges your love as sacrificial for others' best interest and how can you grow into Christ-like love?5) What challenges your leadership and how can you grow into Christ-like leadership?Love - to will and work for the best interest (God's interest) for another.Leadership - A - Acknowledges God's will, B - Begins with submission, C - Clothed in love for God/others, D - Discipleship is the goal.Distorted leadership - A - Asserts my will, B - Begins with self, C - Clothed in selfishness, D - Demonstrating my "greatness" is the goal.

1:27 - Girls Session with Mrs. Adamson 4/22/26
Mrs. Adamson dives into God's design and the challenges of being female in light of Genesis 1-3.Discussion questions:1. Reflecting on the meaning of these words, how might you view yourself differently? Tov: signifies beauty, joy, functionality, and, importantly, fulfilling the purpose for which it was created, as in Genesis. It describes things that are pleasant, beneficial, and in harmony with God's design.Ezer kenegdo: warrior; strong help; man's perfect match. It's the picture of two parts of equal weight leaning against one another.Tsela: side— as in whole/entire side; half. It is used over 40 times and most often refers to the side of an object such as the ark, temple, or mountain. In every setting the word points to something that comes alongside and supports, protects, or complements what it adjoins.2.Where do you think girls your age most often look for their sense of worth? What does this look like? 3. What influences or voices have been speaking into your identity recently—positively or negatively?
