Christ In All Things
by Pastors Lance O'Donnell and Jason Schockman
Most of us have a fascinating story if anyone bothered to listen. At Christ In All Things we bother to listen. We have fun doing it. We take God seriously, but we don’t take ourselves too seriously. We have to *bleep some things now and then, and we roll our eyes at each other now and then, but when you listen to Christ In All Things, you’ll find common people who rejoice in the uncommon moments animated by the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Biblical Marriage Month: Remembering Marcus and Carolyn Pankow part 2
Celebrating Biblical Marriage Month, several members of the St. Paul's Marriage Ministry team gathered to remember one of the founding couples of the St. Paul's Marriage Ministry Team. This is part 2 of that conversation. Marcus and Carolyn Pankow served the church for most of their lives. Marcus as a teacher and Principal, Carolyn from the organ bench on Sunday mornings. They both left a deep and lasting impact in our life together at St. Paul's. It seemed good to us take some time to remember and rejoice in the example the Lord of Love gave us in Marcus and Carolyn Pankow.

"One Baptism" and Confirmation
At St. Paul’s the first Lord’s Day in May is “Confirmation.” In this episode we talk about what confirmation is for Lutherans. We address the questions asked—and promises made—in confirmation. As listeners will hear, there is a deep connection between the third article of The Nicene Creed and Baptism. In the Nicene Creed we confess, “. . . And I believe in one holy Christian and apostolic Church, I acknowledge one Baptism for the remission of sins. . .” In the Rite of Confirmation, the pastor asks, “Do you this day in the presence of God and of this congregation acknowledge the gifts that God gave you in your Baptism?” What do those things mean? What do they have to do with one another? What are those being confirmed actually confessing and promising when they are confirmed?Recorded 29 April, 2026

2023 Good Shepherd Institute Debrief
This episode is a discussion of why we like to attend the Good Shepherd Institute. GSI is a conference for pastors, church musicians, and others involved in ecclesiastical arts. Held in early November at Concordia Theological Seminary in Ft. Wayne, GSI is a wonderful opportunity to hear glorious church music, listen to first-class presentations on church music and pastoral theology, and interact with ecclesiastical artists and their work. Listeners will hear St. Paul’s Director of Parish Music, Allison Mackie, back on the program, and note our enthusiasm for what we encountered, and what an encouragement it was for our daily work leading the congregation in Word, Sacrament, and song. For more information about the Good Shepherd Institute, look it up on the seminary’s site: www.ctsfw.edu.
