Hulda Sonjén had called them because she didn't like the type of musik played after me (I would not be suprised if she loved this set:) even though I was controlling the volume level all of the day and measured it from the nearest neighbours. Asking all to leave political and national symbols, flags n banners at home. In the rush towards Xmas, and heavy consuming going on all around town, business as usual. Well, it worked out great actually despite intense conflicts going on in the world, we were not sure about that, but no one remembers the cowardz you know :) BOA manages the legacy after the horrendous Backa Discotheque fire of '98 and fosters projects to promote cultural sustainability and I'm a board member, have done some cultural coordination .. and I played this set. One year later and still no peace near in sight... I've had enough, how about et tu? A little over a month ago we in the @cirkusparalello core guided the first guests, in heavy rain, through road blocks of a construction work that suddenly had appeared. A few hours before our little planned YRA|RYA Summer Closing - a D.I.Y. open air festival. Blocking the only road leading to the forest we were in, near the cargo harbour of Gothenburg. Fantastic. This is the set I created then around midnight, completely exhausted. As I handed over to maestro @temple-tears (Rebellion der Träumer / Stil vor Talent - Paris/Berlin) and the already heavy skies opened up completely and the downpour intensified to monsoon levels. We celebrated the wonders of being in the now, the crazy-good and bad unpredictability of life, for a few hours under the massive rain covers, until the surrounding areas were completely drowned and almost everyone left. The rest is, as they say, history. 13 days later we were going home, after having planned and rather successfully carried through an additional extended weekend and smaller crew evenings. So far I've heard of an open air here locally spanning for 9 days, so we don't know but there's for sure a chance that we just have set a new Swedish open air length record in modern times. I went along with @fiafomo [@fragmentvm | @houseofursa] on an adventure to play a rare B2B opening set. Kicking off the popular monthly aerobics session with @never-ending-project at their dock-side HQ. Thanx @jonasrathsman and @trustedtracks family for inviting us and @christinefriberg and @emanuel-satie for sharing the limelight as floor instructors with us. G'day! To make if official that I've now joined @cirkusparalello as Resident-DJ and Co-organizer, I wanna share this set with you! (After a month of being an apprentice to the Director, and years of musical and spiritual support from near by). This is the 100th mix from me on Soundcloud afaik too, yay! It was the first of my five (!) sets at YRA|RYA 2.0 that took place a month ago, two were planned and three happened spontaneously (including the afterparty as well hehe). It's the main floor closing set on my @houseofursa Friday there. This weekend was also my Anniversary Bday Festival btw, but I kept it very hush-hush and lowkey since I really don't like the attention of being celebrated while organizing ;) Some new hitz, some old faves, some random last second selections due to lack of battery in my vibe antenna I guess from building the event, oh well, I had NO IDEA what vibe I was going to go for 5 minutes before play, I just tapped into where my brudi from @katerblau Berlin mr @mias-welt left off and picked an intro I had prepared for some occasion and just went with it, a chill steady mud boogie for the few heroes who were there due to the bad weather. Huge thanks to my @fragmentvm besties @fiafomo and @iago_souza who warmed up our "pool session" as well, and everyone else who was part in this project, behind the scenes as well as all dear guests who joined later! After a very hectic work week I took a walk from home on Friday evening to get some fresh air, through the eastern industrial seaport area. I was invited to come n play in this abandoned train tunnel, on my way to catch my buddy @fiafomo playing an Emmaboda Festival tribute party on Ringön. I was positively surprised what these ladies organizing this had come up with, their first party together I think. I took over from the brilliant @nordic-enigma at 130 BPM, not my most common range, but those who know me know that I play anything from blockflute pauses a la Acid Pauli to corporate events so go figure ;) Well well well, this is what I whipped up, on the spot, completely improvised. As often is the case when I play. That's the thing about being a Deejay I think. But to be able to do this many hours goes into music knowledge and sorting tracks. You might catch the theme of the event through my track selections and the style of the host ladies, but I'll leave that up to your imagination. ;) Then I handed over to maestro @djkvint and before you knew it, I was on my way! Lately I've been asked for proof of my convictions, and my existence has been questioned here and there in various matters. Heh. Well, since I speak best through sound, this is my answer. This is what I've been given from above and within. From now on, it's up to you to believe or reject, as you may :) I think it's time for us all to meet, to unite and REALLY integrate our different views. This was recorded a sunny lovely afternoon on Thursday 25th Aug 2022 in Gagnef on Gaia, the third body from Sol in the outer central rim of Via Lactea galaxy in the Laniakea Supercluster according to the modern sapian calendar. It was played entirely spontaneous, I have no idea how that worked but somehow I found the flow just right of the bat, almost like this type of flow could be produced in a lab. K? Mr Basta found out we grew up in the same village and invited me to do the homecoming trip to close his birthday fest at the Pizzakiosk! I accepted the challenge and played a set for the setting.. a countryside bounce.. untz untz shake that EPA traktor and let loose with your childhood's neighbour's old friend! And yes, my parents were on the dance floor too. Legendary stuff!

I was taking over from @d_o_h playing before me, it starts at quite a high intensity without an intro, compared to how I usually want to build-up. But a few tracks in, we start floating down, float float, down the stream.. letting the river show the way. Just a spontaneous session without a plan, really happy with the progression though. Some new tracks, but mostly ones that I've played quite a lot, but never put together in a story by style like this before. Enjoy y'all!

And now, for something different.. Here is the recording from when @fiafomo and I served music at the 2020 summer party of Inceptive Group. We got invited by my buddy Mr Josefsson, CEO of Uptive AB. This happened on a sunny Friday evening at the end of June in Azaleadalen, Slottskogen, Göteborg. We were playing to the whole beachvolley area, lots of youngsters were also enjoying the beats all around us on a distance. Pizza Pushers with Kelly and crew were there too. Lovely times that went on until the fuel of the generator ran out. So.. yes! We can handle more than underground dance music for sweaty dance floors, and are available for company events, private gatherings, wedding gigs etc too. To celebrate today's news that Gothenburg's open air wonderland Café Fluß can remain open until end of September, instead of closing next week, I decided to give you my set from this year's opening weekend! Quite an experiment it was, one of the first not tiny social dis-dancing events in the world I think.. I played Saturday 21-23 between my buddies @tantrut and @eillommusic! So well, a special set, to say the least, never before have I had to try NOT to make people swing around, but rather remain by their tables 🙂

A couple of weeks ago I was invited to play a Lunch Disco livestream set at La Vaca Loca's beautiful studio yard. I went for a slower journey, a trip around the world per say, that takes off from Göteborg and returns home towards the end, after picking up the pace a bit. Really happy with how this turned out. This is a sun-drenched day time set from me at the wonderful Cafe Fluß back home in Göteborg, Sweden. The crowd was hanging out, eating lunch, some elderly people were there at this time enjoying the beautiful day, so I even brought some Swedish classics and a few other pop-influences into the set hehe. Where do I begin, to tell the story of how great a night can be? Shine Girls (& boys)... I'm forever in awe. These otherworldly dreams you create, the love you show by putting all your force and heart into the effort makes me happier than anything else has in a long time. Göteborg needs this so, so much. Finally, after many years of mostly being blinded by darkness, there is a bright shine now! And the gratitude for letting me be a part of this behind the decks knows no limits. Friends, dance family,.. the support I felt from you makes me lost for words. Without you I would obviously be nowhere near the flow I felt, we do this together - team work! And now for something different... most of you probably don't know that I sometimes, rarely, play at parties and gatherings other than electronic dance clubs. Last night was such an occasion, a private costume/birthday/new-year party with a mixed crowd. And usually at parties that gather a group of people for other reasons than the music then some of them need hits and oldies to stay grooving, and some need heavy beats to go wild ..so I mash it up like this. I take (reasonable) requests and people hang around the booth and everyone has opinions on the music and someone always wants something else than what is currently playing. Quite a peculiar but fun situation.. nothing for a faint-of-heart DJ to get into ;) I pressed record and thought it would be fun to share this as a one-off to kick off 2019. Cheers! (The midnight moment happened during and after the deep house track containing the Godfather theme at 38mins or so.. I cut away a silent break after that one)
