All believers are called to exercise discernment and test the spirits; with all that is going on locally and across America, it is time for us to look past all the hype, emotions, and excitement that often gets conjured up and turn to the Scripture instead. The Scripture makes us wise unto salvation, sanctifies us, purifies us, and unifies us. If we truly desire unity, and if we truly care about the eternal souls of others, we will possess a deep love for the sound doctrine of Scripture.

In the study, we will consider God's faithfulness, Abraham's strengthened faith in God, the steadfast love of God, and His full sovereignty over providing a bride for the promised Son. Join us as we study Genesis 24

The reason to call out error within the body of Christ, is because true brotherly love compels us to seek the well being, health, and protection of our brethren.  It is out of love for Christ and the body of believers that these current events must be addressed. My desire is to see great unity and joy within the church, true unity and true joy which glorifies the Father without question. So, if 70% of church folks are probably not truly saved, which evangelistic method brought these goats pretending to be sheep into the fold ? Let's discuss it as we study the Word.

Do we trust the Gospel? In our last installment, we considered that question and looked in to some of the modern practices which expose our lack of faith in the power of the Gospel. In this installment, join us as we breakdown a sermon which was shared on Sunday morning September 17th by Rick Gage, an evangelist who is in our area for a Crusade which has been promoted over the last few months. We believe this sermon/speech to be a clear picture of the methods and tactics we are attempting to caution others about, and we pray that you would prayerfully consider if these practices are grounded in biblical faith in the power of God to save, or if they are grounded in faith which rests upon the power of man to force decisions. DISCLAIMER: This is not an attack or an effort against Rick Gage or Go Tell ministries, this is an effort to expose unbiblical practices, methods, and tactics within the Church. There are many who utilize these tactics simply because it is commonplace and we were probably reared in a church culture which revered these methods. Just because someone practices these things does not mean they are not truly a Christian, in fact, it is because we hold many of these individuals as brothers or sisters in the faith that we wish to see repentance and correction so badly. These things are harming the body of Christ, our family, and we wish to see the body of Christ purified by the true power of the Word.

As we have gone through 23 chapters of Genesis, we have seen alot of human interaction, decisions, and responsibility. We have also seen the fullness of God's sovereignty and His steadfast faithfulness at all times. How can considering these truths grant us a greater freedom and joy ad we live our own lives under God's sovereignty?
