ISI Bible Study Ep. 8 | Faith in the Storm - Mark 4
In this ISI Bible Study, Lewis leads us through Mark 4, reflecting on Jesus calming the storm and what the passage teaches us about faith, fear, complacency, and trusting God in unfamiliar situations. The disciples were experienced on the water—it was their environment—yet they encountered a storm they weren’t prepared for. In the same way, we can become comfortable with where we are and still face storms that shake us. The circumstances may change, but God does not.We also wrestle with questions around spiritual complacency, being shaken out of our comfort zones, and how God responds when we become spiritually lost or distant.Scripture: Mark 4Big Idea: The storms we encounter may be new to us, but they are never new to God.Iron Sharpens Iron (ISI) is a Christian men’s community centered on growing together in Faith, Family, Fitness, and Finances.“As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” — Proverbs 27:17

Practicing His Presence Workshop Ep. 7 | Abiding in Him
In this workshop, we continue our journey from Practicing Stillness into Practicing His Presence—learning how to intentionally recognize, remain in, and respond to God’s presence throughout our everyday lives. We explore practical spiritual disciplines that can help us slow down, reconnect with God, and become more aware of Him in the middle of work, family, responsibilities, distractions, and the ordinary moments of our day.Through Scripture, reflection, and practical exercises, we discuss what it looks like to abide in Christ rather than simply add God to our schedule.God has never stopped being present. Often, we have simply stopped noticing. This workshop is part of the ChristianJCreations / Iron Sharpens Iron journey of helping men grow deeper in faith, family, fitness, and finances—starting with our relationship with God.Practicing His Presence — Here, until Home.

ISI Table Talk Ep. 6 | Be Faithful in the Small Things
In this Table Talk, Christian and Lewis sit down for an open and unscripted conversation about trusting God’s plans, being faithful in the small things, and recognizing the different ways we can draw closer to Him.Along the way, the conversation moves through Scripture—from Jeremiah and God’s plans, to Pharaoh’s hardened heart, Paul’s words in Romans, and the importance of focusing on what God has placed right in front of us.Sometimes following God isn’t about doing something big. It’s about being faithful with the small things, staying connected to Him, and learning to recognize His presence in everyday life.Table Talks are relaxed, honest conversations between brothers about faith, life, Scripture, and whatever God puts on the table.

ISI Bible Study Ep. 5 | Choosing His Presence - Luke 10
In this episode of the Iron Sharpens Iron Bible Study, Lewis leads us through Luke 10 as we continue exploring what it means to slow down, examine the posture of our hearts, and choose the presence of God.Through the different moments found throughout Luke 10, we reflect on the difference between simply doing things for God and actually being with Him. Like Martha, we can become distracted—even by good things—while missing the One who is right in front of us.This conversation challenges us to ask: What has our attention? Are we serving from His presence, or have we become so busy that we’ve stopped noticing Him?📖 Scripture: Luke 10⚔️ Iron Sharpens Iron | ChristianJCreations“But few things are needed—or indeed only one.” — Luke 10:42 (NIV)

ISI Bible Study Ep. 3 | Remembering God in the Stillness - Jonah
In this ISI Bible Study, we continue our journey through Practicing Stillness by looking at the story of Jonah.Jonah found himself in one of the darkest and most unexpected places imaginable—the belly of the fish. Yet it was there, in the stillness, that he remembered God, turned his heart toward Him, and prayed. In this study, we reflect on what Jonah’s story can teach us about slowing down, remembering God’s presence, and turning back to Him—even when we find ourselves in difficult or uncomfortable seasons.Scripture: Jonah 1–2Iron Sharpens Iron is a ChristianJCreations men’s community centered on Faith, Family, Fitness & Finances, creating space for men to grow closer to God and encourage one another.

Practicing Stillness Workshop Ep. 2 | Learning to Be Still With God
In this ChristianJCreations workshop, we explore what it means to practice stillness in the presence of God.In a world filled with noise, distractions, responsibilities, and constant movement, being still doesn’t always come naturally. But throughout Scripture, we’re reminded of the importance of slowing down, trusting God, and recognizing that He is already present.Together, we reflect on Scripture, discuss some of the things that make stillness difficult, and explore practical ways to intentionally create space for God in our everyday lives.“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10Stillness isn’t about doing nothing.
