Transformed Leaders: Becoming More Like Jesus Theme Scripture: Romans 12:2 "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind..." Purpose: To pray that God transforms us into Christ-centered leaders who lead with humility, wisdom, love, holiness, and a servant's heart, always pointing others to Jesus.

Many people believe resting means doing nothing. Biblical rest is different. Rest is trusting Christ instead of carrying burdens He never asked us to carry. The enemy keeps believers exhausted because exhausted believers struggle to hear God's voice clearly. Jesus invites us into a lifestyle of rest. If we are teachable, we will learn to rest. If we learn to rest, we become more reachable by God.

Be Teachable to Be Reachable: Learning to Handle What God Has Given Us Theme Scripture Matthew 11:29 "Take my yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Objective To understand that Jesus Christ is our greatest Teacher and that a teachable heart allows God to develop us into faithful stewards of every gift, opportunity, and assignment He has entrusted to us.

Theme Faithful stewardship begins and ends with Jesus Christ. We cannot properly manage our gifts, time, family, business, ministry, finances, or purpose apart from Him. When Jesus remains at the center, our stewardship becomes fruitful and pleasing to God.

Key Scripture: 1 Corinthians 4:2 "Moreover, it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful." Many people desire God's blessings, favor, promotion, and increase. However, before God entrusts us with more, He first teaches us how to steward what we already have. Faithful stewardship begins with a teachable heart. A person who cannot be taught cannot be trusted with greater responsibility. God is always teaching, correcting, shaping, and preparing His people for Kingdom assignments. The question is not whether God is speaking. The question is: "Am I teachable enough to listen and obey?"

A teachable heart becomes reachable by God, and a reachable believer becomes effective in reaching others for Jesus Christ.

Foundation Scriptures James 1:22–25 Matthew 7:24–27 John 14:15 Luke 6:46 Deuteronomy 28:1–2 1 Samuel 15:22 OPENING QUESTION What is the value of knowing the Word of GOD if we refuse to obey it? Many believers spend years hearing sermons, attending conferences, reading books, and quoting scripture. Yet knowledge without obedience produces spiritual deception. The Kingdom of GOD is not built upon what we know. The Kingdom is built upon what we obey.

Over the past weeks we have discussed: Breaking false altars Tearing down strongholds Pure worship versus performance Christianity Walking in the fear of the LORD Now we arrive at a very important truth: Obedience is the evidence of surrender. Many people hear sermons. Many people read scripture. Many people attend Bible studies. But hearing alone does not produce transformation. Transformation comes when we obey what GOD says. The blessing is not merely in hearing the Word. The blessing is in doing the Word.

We have no need to seek validation from People. Our heavenly Father knows everything about us. He knows us better than we know ourselves.  Psalms 139

Over the past two weeks we have discussed: Week 1 False altars Hidden idols Double-mindedness Week 2 Generational altars Strongholds Breaking unhealthy cycles This week we move into a deeper question: After the altars are torn down, what replaces them? The answer is: True worship. Many people attend church regularly, know scripture, sing worship songs, and participate in ministry activities. However, there is a difference between: Worship and performance Relationship and religion Intimacy and routine Following JESUS and merely appearing spiritual GOD is looking for true worshippers.

This week focuses on moving from religious performance to genuine intimacy with JESUS CHRIST. Many people know how to appear spiritual, but GOD is looking for hearts that truly love Him, obey Him, and worship Him in spirit and truth. Key Scripture "But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth." — John 4:23

“The Danger of False Altars & Double-Mindedness” Main Scriptures: 2 Kings 21:1–9 2 Chronicles 33:1–9 James 1:5–8 Exodus 20:3–5 Matthew 6:24   King Manasseh is an example of what happens when someone who knows about GOD begins to embrace compromise and false worship. This lesson is not about condemning people. It is about self-examination and returning fully to JESUS CHRIST. Agape Love 

Scripture Focus: 2 Kings 21:1–9 2 Chronicles 33:1–9 James 1:5–8 King Manasseh ruled Judah, yet he built altars to false gods, practiced witchcraft, followed pagan customs, and led people away from the true worship of God. Though he had access to the truth, he allowed compromise, rebellion, and idolatry to enter the land. Today many people still build spiritual “altars” in their hearts — placing money, pride, control, relationships, secret sins, witchcraft, self-worship, horoscopes, social status, or ungodly practices above GOD. James 1 warns us that a double-minded person is unstable in all their ways, tossed like waves of the sea.

Bible Study 2 Kings 8:20-24 and 2 Chronicles 21 Many people today want the benefits of GOD without surrendering fully to Him. Some want the title, platform, influence, money, or recognition, but not the daily relationship, obedience, and dependence upon the LORD. King Jehoram is an example of someone who had authority but lacked spiritual submission. He ruled as king, but his heart was not anchored in GOD. Jehoram walked: independent from GOD, influenced by ungodly systems, led by compromise, and disconnected from righteousness. This lesson is not only about a king in the Old Testament. It is a warning and reflection for us today. We must ask ourselves: Are we truly following JESUS? Or are we trying to put a “Jesus label” on flesh-led decisions? Are we depending on GOD daily? Or are we living independently while still claiming Christianity?

2 Kings 8:20 -24 and 2 Chronicles 21 gives us a serious warning about what happens leadership, decisions, and life become disconnected from GOD. King Jehoram had authority, position, and influence, but he chose independence from God instead of dependence on Him. Rather than seeking the ways of the LORD, he followed the sinful patterns around him and led people away from righteousness. A person can look successful outwardly and still be spiritually disconnected inwardly.

The Bible Study breaks down with how we can build the power of prayer with Jesus. We have questions that reflects how we need to evaluate our lives daily. How we abide (remain) in Jesus at all times.

Prayer begins with relationship not Religion.

This Bible was the breaking down in God's grace from the understanding and revelation given by Holy Spirit. Engaging with thought provoking questions to reflect on. Takeaway: Choose one weakness in our lives that we give to Our Heavenly Father to help us with grace to be strengthen in that area. Blessings! Glory be to God for all that He does for us!!!

God's grace saves us, sustains us and we grow in His grace. May we ask God to strengthen us in our weakness to empower us to overcome our struggles. We ask in Jesus' name Amen.

Morning Prayer by Apostle Philomena Whitehead. This is prayer is to help us examine our "yes" to God in our spirit. We worship God in Spirit and Truth and not our flesh. Our flesh is weak, but the Spirit is willing.

We focus our attention on Jesus! Abide in Jesus so that we may produce good fruits.
