It’s not about DO. It’s about WHO
In a world obsessed with doing, Jesus reminds us that it’s not about DO, it’s about WHO. Before performing miracles or starting His ministry, Jesus was affirmed by the Father: “You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.” His identity came first. From the temple as a boy to the wilderness as a man, Jesus knew who He was, and He stood firm against every temptation by the authority of God’s Word. This message invites us to live from a place of identity, not performance. When you know who you are in Christ, you won’t be swayed by pressure to prove it.1. Jesus knew the power of God’s word.2. He had memorized God’s word.3. Jesus spoke the word with authority.
