    February 08, 2026 | Romans - A Study on Biblical Hope | Romans 5:12-21

In this text, Paul tells us how our God views all of human history, and how He sees all of humanity in two lines: one headed by Adam, those identified in their sin and under the curse of sin unto death, and one headed by Jesus Christ, those identified in Him, with His righteousness infused INTO us as believers, reigning in life both today wherever we find ourselves and for the foreseeable future, destined for glory!  If you have ever wondered how to think about a subject as grand as human history, this priceless text gives you human history from God's viewpoint, a heavenly view making sense of things here on earth.  What a privilege it is to study the Word of God!visit us at: conejochurch.com

    February 01, 2026 | Romans - A Study on Biblical Hope | Romans 5:10

This message explores what is perhaps the single most compelling verse in all of Romans:  Romans 5:10.  It is the Gospel in a Nutshell. It also contains the secret of the Christian life.  Last week I spoke of one of my heroes, Pastor Ray Stedman.  My English hero was a man called Major Ian Thomas. His life and message deeply impacted me as a boy of 10, 11 and 12.  He wrote a masterpiece of a book entitled "The Saving Life of Christ," which is the second most impactful book I have ever read, second only to the Bible!  That book's title refers to Romans 5:10.  Listen and learn about the TRIUMPH of the Gospel of God, the saving life of Christ!!visit us at: conejochurch.com

    January 25, 2026 | Romans - A Study on Biblical Hope | Romans 5: 3-5

Pastor Dorman uncovers Three Bases of CONFIDENCE we can each stand upon:  CONFIDENCE in the hope of the glory of God - certain, sure expectation God's working for good within and through us; CONFIDENCE even amid our tribulations - the pressures, sufferings, and heartaches we each face - because the perfect love of God for us will carry us through every single trial; and CONFIDENCE in GOD HIMSELF, our ultimate rock of confidence on which we stand, through our LORD Jesus Christvisit us at: conejochurch.com

    January 18, 2026 | Romans - A Study on Biblical Hope | Romans 5: 1-2

This message begins with a mighty "Therefore," marking one of the great transitions in this book in Romans 5:1, 2.  Having seen God's great plan of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ revealed at the Cross of Christ, and discovering how each believer is saved by faith as exemplified in Abraham, we turn to consider now the life-changing ramifications of our faith.  We discover Three Treasures each believer has as a result of God's declaration of us as righteous through faith in Jesus Christ: we have PEACE WITH GOD through our  LORD Jesus Christ, through Him we have been introduced by faith into an eternal GRACE in which we stand, and we can confidently boast in our HOPE of the Glory of God.visit us at: conejochurch.com

    December 14, 2025 | Romans - A Study on Biblical Hope | Romans 4:1-15

Paul writes his masterful commentary on one single verse in the Hebrew Scriptures, Genesis 15:6.  In our passage for this week, Romans 4:1-15, Paul illustrates the radical principle of righteousness by faith alone from the life of Father Abraham, our forefather in the faith.  We will study one quiet night in Abram's life, a strategic night if ever there was one.  Come and join us as we reflect on that quiet night, and God's genius in declaring Abram righteous by faith alone, apart from works of the law, before circumcision, and before the giving of the Law, and learn how the ancient story of the Bible continues in the life of every believer today, giving us a marvelous sense of belonging to God in the family of faith.visit us at: conejochurch.com

    December 07, 2025 | Romans - A Study on Biblical Hope | Romans 3:27-31

Paul takes a moment to survey the wondrous Cross of Christ in Romans 3:27-31.  The Cross of Christ completed once for all God's miraculous plan of redemption, whereby He offers to implant His righteousness INTO every one who believes in Jesus Christ, as a freely given gift.  His work on the Cross is D-O-N-E, introducing the glorious principle of salvation by faith alone, or Sola Fide as they said during the Reformation.  This week we will consider the Cross and the salvation by faith alone offered to every believer as a radical departure from all human religions.visit us at: conejochurch.com

    November 09, 2025 | Romans - A Study on Biblical Hope | Romans 3:9-20

This is Paul's Closing Argument in God's Case Against the Human Race, in Romans 3:9-20.  We will find the final answer to our question we asked when this court was convened back in Rom. 1:18-20: What's Wrong with the World?  Paul answers with one word, the last word in both Rom. 3:9 and 3:20:  SIN.  We will take a hard look at our great human enemy, sin ... defining it, considering it, sitting under it without being able to wriggle out from under it.  It is not easy material, but it is priceless in its TRUTH value, because until we have a certain diagnosis, we cannot find a cure!  Come hear God's diagnosis of humanity's greatest problem this Sunday!  And then next Sunday, we will consider His glorious CURE for every believer through Jesus Christ our LORD!visit us at: conejochurch.com

    November 02, 2025 | Romans - A Study on Biblical Hope | Romans 2:17- 3:1-8

Exhibit C is God's Case Against the Human Race, a representative of humanity that is the Best Case - the Jews, God's Chosen People.  Paul writes as a consummate insider, a Jew writing about Jews, and the Holy Spirit gave Paul profound insights into the Jewish heart and their sacred texts of the Torah and the Prophets.  Paul will reveal how even the Jews, precious to God as the very heart of humanity, the blessed recipients of the oracles of God in the Torah and all the Hebrew Scriptures, still fall short and end up doing the same things as the other Exhibits in the Court.  We will see the genius of God in planning specifically to change the hearts of Jewish believers, His way of making hearts holy like He is holy, determined and written in the Torah itself and in Ezekiel.visit us at: conejochurch.com

    October 26, 2025 | Romans - A Study on Biblical Hope | Romans 2:1-16

We return to the Courtroom, for Exhibit B in God's Case Against the Human Race, a representative of humanity that is the Good Case, in Romans 2:1-16.  How many of us have heard people describe themselves this way: "I'm a good person, I don't hurt anybody.  I'm pretty sure I'm going to heaven because I am a good person..."  Sadly, this prevalent view is woefully inaccurate.  When Jesus was called "Good Teacher," He rightly pointed out, "Why do you call Me good? No one is good except God alone." (Mark 10:18). This week's text will make an epic contrast between our double-standard, 'easygoing on ourselves but harsh on others' human judgment, and the unchanging, fair and impartially applied righteous judgment of God.  And the main thing that makes God's judgment so right and so different is that it always begins with KINDNESS, for "the kindness of God leads you to repentance." (Rom. 2:4).visit us at: conejochurch.com

    October 19, 2025 | Romans - A Study on Biblical Hope | Romans 1: 21-32
