Confusions Of A 30 Something

Far later than planned, crappier audio quality than planned but we wanted to get some recording done alongside having a few beers. Update on new interests, quitting jobs and a disturbing childhood incident. Anyway, enjoy.

It's been a long time. A catch-up to discuss bodge-jobs, hot tubs, the annoyance of people with woodburners and a very different Christmas to finish 2020.

This week we decided to talk about jobs. Getting a job, hating a job, stupid things you've done in a job before inevitably talking about Euro Trash and getting the sack. We also use bleep sound effect for the first time. There is also a brief mention of a dry ski slope and a xmas party.

It's been a while! We're back and we're ready to record again after a month off doing other things. The Tenet debate continues, Chris's surprising fish-man film reference, 5g Mega Pigeon returns in anger and no more Zoom (tm) quizzes please.

An unresearched, unplanned episode. We discuss nasal hair, parking payment irritations, how to milk a nut and a storm of controversy erupts.... over Tenet.

We get into music, festivals and the portable music tech of youths. Also features flying piss, moaning about Westlife and finding modern pop pretty boring. And Woolworths.

Our first face to face episode (turns out there are technical challenges recording on 2 mics in one room, but we loved recording this one) which led to the purchase of a mixer. We discuss Bovril on Sunset Boulevard, things we’ve ‘matured’ enough to like and Graham has opened an Etsy store.

A multitude of things covered here. We discuss our own personal battles with depression, talk about Cults and the Washington's NFL team finally changing their name (this was recorded before the official announcement). Chris tries a vegan stir-fry thing.

Chris turned 34, so we thought it was a good time to talk about birthdays in general. Tales of milestone birthdays, vengeance against Moonpig, an airport 'mooning' incident, the world's best driving instructor and a Nintendo debacle all feature. We make a mention of it in the intro and we'll say it again, #blacklivesmatter

This week we talk about lazy excuses, fluids in the post, wars with your sibling, getting slightly dressed up and a load of other things. One of us is wearing pyjamas.

Recorded during bank holiday, so this was the perfect time to talk about not having to spend it at Ikea. This led to tangents around Dad food, recollections of school, a mobile newsagent and some puerile references about an uncooked banana cake.  Obviously.

A very pub-chat feel to this episode. Discussions also feature IBS, Robbie Coltrane, poor dietary habits and road rage en-route to a British seaside resort. Contains swearing. Frequently. You possibly may hear a cat.
