Be mindful of folks running to tell you what someone else said about you under the guise that they're looking out for you.Some folks are messy and want to see you hurt, more importantly they're too much of a coward to tell you how they feel about you, so they hide behind telling you what other people feel about you. Don't let that go over your head.

Mind your business sometimes! Some people just want attention for their situation not actual guidance and sound advice. You will be left feeling drained while they skip off into the sunset in blissful ignorance.

Apologize to yourself the same way you’d ask for forgiveness if you hurt someone else. You deserve your own grace, too. Forgive yourself for not knowing better before you learned better. 💛

When someone tells you that you should be humble or when someone passive aggressively casts doubt on your confidence, please believe that he, she or they are not your tribe.

If someone that hurt you spun the block and admitted to what they did and they sincerely apologize, is that enough to forgive? Discernment is always key in these situations but let's talk about it real quick.

They say healing makes you mean, I say healing makes you mean what you say.Don't worry about defending your name in rooms where people are hell bent on misunderstanding you.Be the Villain in their story and be a damn good one!

Friendship breakups are rough but sometimes necessary. Let's talk about it.

As a survivor and advocate for Domestic Violence Awareness, it's breaking my heart how week after week a black woman is being murdered by her partner. What in the world is going on?
