    I am not my shame…

In Episode 4 of the ConvictUs Podcast, Invictus is joined by co-hosts GhoulishParagon and DrMcCobble as we continue our deep dive into Tear the Veil and the Scripture behind its message. This episode centers on what happens when we finally stop running from God.We talk about hearing God in the silence, the difference between conviction and condemnation, surrendering everything to Christ, and realizing that no matter how hard we try to hide, we were never hidden from Him.We dig into the declarations at the heart of the song:“I AM NOT MY SHAME.”“I AM NOT TOO LOST.”“YOU ALREADY PAID EVERY SINGLE COST.”Through Scripture, we examine what those words actually mean.Romans 8 tells us that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.Luke 19 reminds us that Jesus came specifically to seek and save the lost. And 1 Peter reminds us that our redemption wasn’t purchased with silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ. We also talk about what true surrender looks like.Jesus didn’t call us to simply add Him to the life we’ve already built. He called us to deny ourselves, take up our cross daily, and follow Him.That means giving Him everything. Our pride.
Our plans.
Our failures.
Our wounds.
Our future.
Our entire lives. And perhaps one of the most important truths we discuss is this:God already knows. He saw the sin.
He saw the failures.
He saw the wandering.
He saw every attempt to hide. And He still made a way for us through Jesus Christ. The Gospel isn’t the story of broken people finally becoming good enough to approach God.It’s the story of a holy God making a way for broken people to come home.So ask yourself:What veil are you still hiding behind?Guilt?
Fear?
Pride?
Shame?
The belief that you’ve gone too far?The veil has been torn. The price has been paid.Stop running.Come home.🎵 LISTEN TO INVICTUSConvictUs is the official podcast of Invictus, a Christian metal project built around heavy music, Scripture, and the message of Jesus Christ. If the message behind Tear the Veil spoke to you, go listen to the music that inspired these conversations.Search Invictus and listen on:Spotify • Apple Music • YouTube • Amazon Music • Pandora and other major streaming platformsFollow Invictus for new music, videos, podcast episodes, and more.⚔️ JOIN THE INVICTUS ARMYWant to go deeper than the podcast?Join the Invictus Army Discord. It’s where our community comes together to talk about Scripture, faith, music, upcoming Invictus releases, ConvictUs episodes, live discussions, Q&As, and everything happening behind the scenes. If you’re looking for a community of believers who aren’t afraid to have difficult conversations, study Scripture, encourage one another, and stand firm in Christ, we’d love to have you with us.Join the Invictus Army through the Discord link below.https://discord.gg/invictusarmyConvictUs PodcastHosted by InvictusCo-hosted by GhoulishParagon & DrMcCobbleMusic. He Saw Everything… and Still Chose You

In Episode 3 of the ConvictUs Podcast, Invictus is joined once again by co-hosts DrMcCobble and GhoulishParagon as they continue their deep dive into Tear the Veil, focusing on the powerful pre-chorus and chorus that capture the heart of the song.Together, they explore what it means to spend our lives trying to hide from God, convincing ourselves that our sin, shame, and failures somehow place us beyond His reach. Yet Scripture paints a different picture. Even in our darkest moments, God was there ,seeing every failure, every rebellion, and every attempt to run, yet still pursuing us with relentless love. The tearing of the veil represents more than a historical event. It symbolizes the moment we stop running, lay down our pride, and finally admit that we don’t want to hide from God anymore. Through Christ, the barrier between us and God has been removed, inviting us into a relationship we could never earn. The conversation also turns to one of the most sobering moments in Scripture: when the crowd chose Barabbas over Jesus. It’s easy to judge those who cried out for Barabbas, but the deeper truth is that we are no different. We come to the humbling realization that we are every bit as wretched as Barabbas. Left to ourselves, we are guilty, broken, and deserving of judgment. But Jesus willingly took our place, bearing the punishment that belonged to us.Join Invictus, DrMcCobble, and GhoulishParagon as they unpack these themes, study the Scriptures behind the lyrics, and reflect on the incredible mercy of a God who sees us at our worst, pursues us anyway, and still calls us to Himself. If this episode encourages you, be sure to subscribe, leave a review, and share it with someone who needs the reminder that no one is beyond the reach of God’s grace. If you enjoyed this discussion, be sure to listen to Tear the Veil and the rest of Invictus’ music on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Amazon Music, Pandora, and wherever you stream your music. Every song is written to point people toward Christ and is accompanied by biblical themes explored in the ConvictUs Podcast.Join the Invictus Army:https://discord.gg/invictusarmyListen to Invictus:https://linktr.ee/invictusmusic

    Happiness vs joy?

Welcome to Episode 2 of the ConvictUs Podcast! In this episode, we tackle a question that affects every believer: What’s the difference between happiness and joy? While the world teaches us to chase happiness through entertainment, success, possessions, and temporary pleasures, Scripture reveals that true joy is found only in Christ. We dive into how many of the things we enjoy video games, movies, social media, sports, hobbies, careers, and even relationships can quietly become idols when they take God’s rightful place in our hearts. None of these things are inherently evil, but when they consume our time, attention, and affection more than the Lord, they become barriers to the relationship He desires with us.Join me, along with my co-hosts GhoulishParagon and DrMcCobble, as we examine what the Bible says about joy, idolatry, and wholehearted devotion to Christ. Our prayer is that this conversation challenges all of us to examine our priorities, tear down the idols we’ve built, and rediscover the lasting joy that only God can provide.Whether you’ve been walking with Christ for years or you’re just beginning to seek Him, we hope this episode encourages you to pursue Him above everything else.Listen, study the Scriptures with us, and join the conversation.
