Through stories from Scripture, personal testimony, and the promises of Psalm 37, we are reminded that standing firm does not mean standing alone.God doesn’t just rescue. In this week’s message, “How to Deal with Difficult People,” Trey teaches from Psalm 37:1–11 and walks through a practical acrostic: RELAX.When people hurt us, oppose us, misunderstand us, or seem to get away with wrong, our natural response is often anger, defensiveness, or trying to get even. But David, writing as an old man who had faced betrayal, injustice, and opposition throughout his life, gives us a better way.Psalm 37 reminds us to respond in faith instead of reaction, trust God to take care of us, let go of what we cannot control, address our emotions before they control us, and remember that evil does not last forever.This message is for anyone dealing with difficult people, unfair situations, unresolved anger, or the temptation to take matters into their own hands. God sees what others do not, and He knows how to prepare a table even in the presence of our enemies.

In this week’s sermon, “Dirty Hands, Clean Heart,” Trey teaches from Matthew 15:1–20, where Jesus confronts the Pharisees over the difference between outward religious appearance and true heart transformation. The message challenges us to examine where tradition, performance, or lip service may have taken the place of genuine faith.Jesus reminds us that what matters most is not how clean we look on the outside, but what is happening in the heart. In this Mother’s Day message from 1 Samuel 1, Trey walks through the story of Hannah — a woman carrying deep longing, disappointment, and unanswered prayer. Through her story, we’re reminded that God is not wasting our desires. He often uses our waiting, surrender, and even our pain to prepare us for a purpose bigger than ourselves.God has a purpose for your passion.

In this message from 1 Samuel 17, Trey walks through the story of David and Goliath and reminds us that there are moments when God calls us to be still — and other moments when He calls us to stand up and fight. When the fight finds us, we need to focus on the size of our God, ignore the critics, use what God has already placed in our hands, fight for His name and glory, and trust that the battle belongs to the Lord.

What do we do when God’s answer is “wait”?In this message from Philippians 1, Trey reminds us that even in seasons of uncertainty, anxiety, suffering, and unanswered questions, God is still at work. Paul wrote from prison not knowing whether his future held life or death, yet he was able to rejoice because his confidence was not in his circumstances — it was in the God who always finishes what He starts.When we feel chained down by fear, pain, diagnosis, loss, finances, relationships, or uncertainty, God is still able to turn our lives into a good news message for the world around us. In Christ, we can release our anxieties, expect God’s deliverance, surrender to His will, and trust that His purpose is greater than our circumstances.God has not abandoned you in the waiting. He is working in you, through you, and for His glory.

What do we do when life makes no sense?In this message from Genesis 22, Trey walks through the story of Abraham and Isaac — one of the most difficult and powerful moments of faith in Scripture. Abraham was asked to trust God with the very thing he loved most, even when the command seemed confusing, painful, and impossible to understand.In the middle of grief, tragedy, and unanswered questions, this message reminds us that we may not always get the “why” on this side of heaven. But we can know the “who.” We can trust the God who comforts, provides, carries us, and keeps His promises.When faith is tested, we can cling to God’s promise, trust His plan, and rest in His power — because the Lord will provide.

What if God’s plan for your life is not a detailed roadmap, but an invitation to trust Him one step at a time?In this message from Genesis 12, Trey begins a series on Abraham and the journey of faith. When God called Abram to leave behind his country, his people, and his father’s household, He did not give him every detail of the road ahead. He simply called him to go — and promised to show him the way.That same call still speaks to us today. We all have a past we are tempted to live in, a future we are tempted to fear, and moments when obedience feels risky. But faith means trusting that God’s promise is greater than our fear. He leads, blesses, protects, provides, and works all things together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.You may not know every step ahead, but you can trust the One who is leading. As we go, God will show us the way.

What if everything comes down to one question: Is Jesus dead, or is He alive?In this Easter message from 1 Corinthians 15, Trey walks through the hope and power of the resurrection. If Jesus has not been raised, then our faith is empty, our hope is temporary, and death gets the final word. But if Jesus is alive — and He is — then everything changes.Because of the resurrection, death is defeated, hope is alive, sin has been paid for, and the kingdom of God is coming. The empty tomb means we no longer have to live in fear, shame, despair, addiction, grief, or hopelessness. The same power that raised Jesus from the grave is able to bring dead things back to life in us.This message invites each of us to answer the question personally: Who do you say Jesus is? And is He dead or alive?
