The saving faith of Abraham as model for our faith today.

God saves us by His grace not by His law. His law both informs us of our sin and makes subsequent sins transgressions that pique God's wrath at our open rebellion.

Abraham believed God and was declared righteous before his circumcision and any Jew who is truly a Jew will not only have the lineage of Abraham but the faith of Abraham as well!

God will not be indebted by your "good works." Salvation is His gift to those who have faith in Jesus Christ. The Psalm of David agrees with the Law of Moses that God credits righteousness as a matter of grace.

God is holy and cannot tolerate sin, but God provides His righteousness through Jesus Christ as a gift.

Mankind does not just sin, man is under sin's bondage and authority. We do not need an educator. We need a Liberator. Jesus Christ offers this liberation.

When mankind rejects God, man does so in favor of some idol. God's judgment is to hand man over to a state of bondage to that idol. Sin becomes its own judgment.

Today we harmonize the seemingly contradictory gospel accounts of the women at the tomb of Jesus after His resurrection.
