Pastor Jennifer Holz begins our summer sermon series, "What If?", this week. The question "What If?" invites our minds to open up and stretch out. It's a question that knocks on the door of our imaginations to consider a world where God is always at work but maybe not quite how we might think. To ask, "What If?" cultivates a mindset of curiosity. And maybe most importantly, it's a question that can help us get a new perspective. This summer, we are joining the characters in the Bible who asked this question and discovered that the one who asks receives, the one who seeks finds; the one who knocks, the door will be opened. How did it feel to see them and remember that God loves you unconditionally?2. When you feel empty, hopeless or alone, how do you tend to fill that space? Pay attention to when that happens this week—take a deep breath and pray the Lord’s Prayer. Ask God to give you His daily bread.3. Read Numbers 6:22-27. What is it about this blessing from Moses that changes how we see ourselves? Remind yourself and each other that the Lord’s face lights up when He sees you. You are loved by God.
