Nancie Carolyn Walker was a bright light & a beautiful soul, who LOVED to dance. Sarah Everard was walking home from a friend’s home, heading back to her house in Brixton Hill, England. It was March 3, 2021… & she suddenly disappeared into the night. It’s the 1870’s and a family of four just moved to Labette County, Kansas. The Benders acquired land and built themselves a homestead. Not only that, but they provide travelers with a place to rest, eat, & buy dry goods. But is everything as picture perfect as it seems? From 1871-1873 bodies started turning up and people continued to disappear. What was happening and were the Benders next… or were they the problem?

A Lovers’ Lane was meant to be an ideal location for frisky teens, starstruck lovers, or a quick hanky panky back in the day. Rita Curran was a 2nd grade teacher, with so many things to look forward to. In the summer of 1971, she had recently moved out on her own & was taking grad courses.
