Thomas Jefferson & America at 250
250 years of freedom and independence is something every one of us should be thankful for. Too often we take for granted the freedoms and liberties we enjoy and forget there was a price that many paid. There were 56 signers to the Declaration of Independence that pledged their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor. Sadly today, there are those who desire the downfall of our nation, trying to destroy celebrations and recognition of this milestone. Further, there is erosion that has taken place trying to take away the values and freedoms we hold dear. We must be ever vigilant or this cherished treasure, America, will vanish before our very eyes. Not only will we discuss these matters today, but we also take a look at the author of the original draft of the Declaration of Independence, Thomas Jefferson. Joining us is Dr. Jerry Newcombe, Executive Director of the Providence Forum, a division of Coral Ridge Ministries. He is also a columnist and podcast host for Providence Forum and has produced a series of documentaries on America's Judeo-Christian roots. He is the author or co-author of 33 books including George Washington's Sacred Fire, The Book that Made America: How the Bible Formed Our Nation, American Amnesia: Is America Paying the Price for Forgetting God, the Source of our Liberty, and Doubting Thomas? The Life and Legacy of Thomas Jefferson. Jerry is also senior pastor at New Presbyterian Church in Wilton Manors, FL. More information: ProvidenceForum.org

Standing for Life!
Life is under attack on many fronts. It's being attacked in the womb, it's being attacked in the sunset years and even those who don't measure up to other people's standards due to some form of disability are also coming under attack. God is the Author of life. We are told in Psalm 139 that we are "fearfully and wonderfully made." In Jeremiah 1 we see it is God that has formed us. In Proverbs 6 we're told that the LORD hates the "hands that shed innocent blood" yet we are living in a society that has rejected God. The number of babies being killed by abortion including use of the abortion pill is escalating. Children in the womb are being killed due to a disability. At the other end of the spectrum, just recently a man in Canada screamed for help during a botched euthanasia. We live in a very barbaric society with the nod and approval of many in the political arena, the judicial realm, the entertainment industry and increasingly in the religious realm as well. It is an imperative that we must stand for life! Joining us to discuss these issues is Victor Nieves. Victor is President of the Life Issues Institute which was founded in 1991 to serve the educational needs of the pro-life movement. Victor has had a pro-life passion from a young age while working in state House and Senate campaigns in Missouri. He has a degree in Political Science with a dual focus on American government and Constitutional law. More Information: lifeissues.org

The Spiritual War Against Israel
Regardless of the era, Israel has been hated and warred against. History shows this during the biblical era of the Philistines, the Canaanites, the Midianites and the Amalekites. In modern times, anger against the Jewish nation has been fueled by the rampant spreading of antisemitism through entities such as Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran, Turkey, or Islam. Did you know more resolutions against Israel have come before the United Nations than any other nation in the world? Did you know that the vast majority of the world's nations are regularly voting against Israel? This is a nation only the size of New Jersey, yet they've been despised and warred against throughout all of human history. Under such international pressure, it's truly a miracle that Israel has survived. Why all the hatred? Why have all these forces been unable to destroy Israel? The answer lies in the fact that this is not a battle of flesh and blood, but this is a spiritual battle that has ensued from the beginning ...

Why Students Are Losing the Ability to Read
How and what we teach this generation will reflect what happens in the next. The communists know this. Two of their goals involve getting control of the schools and supporting any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture. These two goals were laid out in our congressional record in 1963. Unfortunately, those goals could be met someday in America because today's students are failing to learn the critical, academic principles of reading, writing, English and arithmetic. As such, they are not equipped to guard what Thomas Jefferson called, "...the sacred deposit of the rights and liberties of their fellow citizens." Joining Jim to discuss this issue was Bonnie Gasper. Bonnie is the chairman of Child Protection League. They educate the public and expose issues that harm children in our schools and our culture. Follow along and you'll hear Bonnie comment on numerous factors that are contributing to our children's learning problems such as: Digital screen reading. Is it just as effective as reading the printed page? What is the state of writing today and what is the correlation between this and reading? What is the "skip it" habit? The slowing of the mind. 10 steps to reclaim the adolescent mind

Transgender Regret
Walt Heyer is a senior fellow with Family Research Council. Walt is a husband, father, and corporate executive who underwent gender transition surgery at the age of 42 and tried to live as a woman for 8 years. Through therapy and faith in God, Walt was restored to his male identity and biological reality. He now helps others who regret trying to live in a manner at odds with how God created them. His is a story of redemption and hope. Walt has written 7 books and numerous articles. His newest release is titled, Embracing God's Design: Addressing the Spiritual and Psychological Crisis Behind Transgender Identity. Over the years there's been a significant increase in those who are identifying differently than their biological sex. From drag queen story hours to the entertainment industry, from corporate America to medical institutions, to classroom reading material, school locker room policies and more, young people are being educated to believe that a boy can be a girl and vice-versa. As a result, some have gone on to chemically and physically damage themselves in an attempt to change their gender. So don't miss this edition of Crosstalk as Walt explains, from first hand experience, what this phenomenon is all about. It involves understanding how this trend impacts the mind of youth in their formative years, the impact on American society overall, the battle over language and word definitions as each side attempts to defend their positions, the impact of the educational system in this battle and much more, including input from listeners nationwide.

The Bible and Your Vote
Dr. Andy Woods is president of Chafer Theological Seminary & senior pastor of Sugar Land Bible Church in Houston. He's also a lawyer, a speaker at numerous Bible conferences, as well as an author of several books including the one discussed on this broadcast: The Bible and Your Vote: Biblical Principles for any Election. Before elections in recent years you may have heard someone say, "This is the most important election in our lifetimes!" In other words, there's some sense with many people that the consequences of such elections are greater than ever. In spite of this, there are many who make the following excuses not to vote: They claim their vote doesn't count. They believe their citizenship is in heaven, therefore they don't vote on the earth. Some believe that if they vote for the lesser of two evils, they're still voting for evil, therefore they feel obligated not to participate. God puts into office who he wills, therefore some people feel they must step aside and not get in the way. Review this broadcast, and you'll see why such excuses are not biblical, as Dr. Woods kicks things off by looking at voting as a matter of stewardship. From there he continues on by looking at other issues related to voting including economic, social, climate, power/personal rights, foreign policy and more. Listeners brought their questions and comments to the discussion as well.

Woke and Weaponized
Alex Newman is an award-winning international freelance journalist, author, researcher, educator and consultant. He is senior editor for The New American. He is Founder & CEO of Liberty Sentinel and a national syndicator of radio and TV programs. News headlines across our nation continue to show themselves as both stunning and disturbing, particularly as it pertains to education. For example, Jim noted these headlines: From Western Journal--"Blue City Accused of Shoving Anti-American, Anti-Jewish Curriculum Down Throats of 200,000 Students." From The Center Square--"Public School Test Scores Continue to Decline Since Pandemic." From The Daily Caller--"Infamous School Board Trains Staff to Fight Terrorist Parents Angry About Trans Bathroom Policy." Such headlines point to the war that's been taking place for decades; a war for the mind of your children and grandchildren. From Karl Marx's 1848 call for free education in public schools to today's UNESCO-driven global agendas, the government school system has been a slow-motion revolution, shaping generations not to serve God or liberty, but to serve the state. You'll want to review this broadcast as Alex not only reviews the historical highlights of this effort, but what's taking place today to not only maintain the status quo, but to supercharge it. For example, Alex commented on the following: How were children educated before the government took over? Who was Robert Owen and what was the "trinity of evil" he wanted to abolish? Horace Mann is often called the founding father of the public school system. While he didn't openly attack the Bible, he did want it out of public schools.

George Muller Museum
Learn about the life and legacy of George Mueller, a 19th-century Christian whose unwavering faith in God's provision was demonstrated through his establishment of five orphanages in Bristol without seeking financial support, relying solely on prayer. It highlights the theological emphasis on trusting God's faithfulness, the vital role of Scripture in cultivating a soul content in God, and the transformative power of consistent prayer and devotion. The preacher underscores the pastoral intent of encouraging believers to cultivate deep spiritual intimacy with God, trusting His promises even in the face of material need. Mueller's life is presented not as a call to mimic his methods, but as a compelling testimony to the reality of God's faithfulness when His people prioritize relationship with Him. The tone is both reverent and inspiring, inviting the audience to embrace a life of radical trust rooted in divine reliability.

John Wesley Statue
The video centers on the enduring legacy of John Wesley, highlighting his transformative impact through passionate evangelism and a radical commitment to spreading the Gospel beyond traditional church boundaries. It emphasizes Wesley's personal conversion experience—marked by a profound realization that salvation comes through personal faith in Christ, not merely religious discipline—and his revolutionary declaration that 'the world is my parish,' underscoring a missional vision that reached the marginalized, including miners and farmers. The narrative connects Wesley's 18th-century revivalism to the American circuit rider movement, illustrating how his model of mobile, accessible preaching shaped modern evangelism. Through a pastoral and reverent tone, the message celebrates Wesley's lifelong devotion to Christ, the poor, and the proclamation of the Gospel, culminating in his final words, 'Best of all, God is with us,' as a testament to enduring divine presence and purpose. The sermon invites contemporary listeners to embrace a similarly expansive, Christ-centered mission rooted in love and sacrifice.

Hanham Mount: Wesley & Whitfield Preached Outdoors
The site of outdoor preaching by John Wesley and George Whitefield is a backdrop to emphasize that the Gospel is not confined to church buildings but belongs to the entire world. It highlights how the message of Christ brought profound hope to marginalized people, such as soot-streaked miners, transforming their lives through spiritual renewal despite enduring hardship. The central theme centers on the universal call to proclaim the Gospel of peace, rooted in Scripture and exemplified by the radical conviction that 'the world is my parish.' The preacher calls the modern church to be humbled and motivated by past faithful witnesses, urging a renewed commitment to share Christ's transformative message with all people in everyday life. Ultimately, the sermon affirms that true hope is found only in Jesus Christ, whose Gospel offers both present comfort and eternal promise.

Williamsport, Pennsylvania Hymns
The video reflects on the theological depth of Christmas hymns rooted in the history of Williamsport, Pennsylvania, highlighting how sacred music emerges from personal faith and sorrow. It explores the symbolic significance of the three gifts presented to Christ—gold, frankincense, and myrrh—representing His kingship, divinity, and sacrificial death. Through the stories of hymn writers like John Henry Hopkins and James Black, the message underscores how earthly experiences of loss and devotion inspire enduring spiritual truths. The central theme emphasizes the hope of eternal life and the assurance of heaven, calling believers to faithful perseverance in service and witness. Ultimately, the video presents hymnody as a living testament to Christian heritage, where music becomes a bridge between earthly struggle and heavenly promise.

Keeping an Eye on the Middle East
Chris Katulka is Vice President of North American Ministries at The Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry and host of The Friends of Israel Today radio program. He's a Bible teacher, writer for Israel My Glory magazine, and author of the book Israel Always. Three months ago today, the war with Iran got underway. During this time, President Trump has consistently stated his goal of removing the nuclear threat of Iran and sees no way for them to have enriched uranium. Just yesterday, President Trump held a Cabinet meeting at the White House and said Iran was "negotiating on fumes." In recent hours, news broke indicating that the United States and Iranian negotiators have reached an agreement. It's an agreement to a 60-day memorandum of understanding which extends the current ceasefire and also negotiations concerning Iran's nuclear program. This all awaits the approval of President Trump. News reports have also indicated that the United States shot down Iranian drones near the Strait of Hormuz. Iran also launched a ballistic missile against Kuwait.

Sharing Christ
Dr. John Sorensen is President & CEO of Evangelism Explosion International, a ministry that trains people how to share their faith in Christ and bring people from unbelief to belief. He's the daily speaker on Share Life Today. He is the author of the books Well Done, Your Story Counts, The Christ of Christmas, and travels around the world for Evangelism Explosion. You've likely read the passage of Scripture commanding believers to go into all the world and preach the Gospel. There's also Christ's instruction on being witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and the uttermost parts of the earth. Finally, there's the Bible's encouragement of not being ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, that it is the power of God unto salvation, and that we are ambassadors for Christ. In spite of all this, some people believe this is only for pastors and missionaries or those in vocational Christian service. The result is that the "Great Commission" has become the "Great Omission." Others may feel convicted to share more, but don't know how to start a conversation, or are concerned they may get something wrong or may not be able to provide an answer for a question that's asked. Some may feel embarrassed, believing that you should never discuss religion or politics because these topics are a private matter and should be kept to ourselves. If you've struggled in areas like these, keep in mind, there are no exceptions. In other words, it doesn't matter if you're a child or adult. As born-again believers, all of us have the same instructions from Christ to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth. You have a story to tell others. Enjoy this Crosstalk!

What Meaneth These Stones?
On many occasions, individuals will do something so that they remember a significant life event. The Israelites gathered stones as they crossed the Jordan River. With the stones, they built a monument so that when future generations asked what the stones meant, they would hear of how God led them through and provided for them. We also put up monuments, not to worship, but to remember individuals or events that have impacted our nation in a significant way. Unfortunately, it's these statues and monuments that are under attack. Why is this happening? To address this issue, Crosstalk welcomed Dr. Tim Schmig. Dr. Schmig is executive director of the Michigan Association of Christian Schools, director of Stories in Stone and author of Stories in Stones: Our Heritage of Evidence. So why is there such a concerted effort to remove statues and monuments today? Dr. Schmig believes part of it is because people today are looking back through the lens of their own personal experiences, therefore they view our nation's founders based upon what's known as "presentism." In other words, they weigh the actions and productivity of the founders (and others who've gone on before us) based on what they believe is right today. As he noted, none of us are perfect, including America's founders. The present day protesters that tear down monuments aren't perfect either. So if you look at our nation through the lens of idealism, we'll be weighed in the balances and found wanting. Yet if you look at America's history based upon the times that they lived in, you'll see that those individuals did some amazing things.

What in the World?
Sometimes when people hear or see something that's strange or outright bizarre, they might reply by saying, "What in the world?" That's the theme of this series of Crosstalk broadcasts as Jim looks at some of the strange and unbelievable stories making the news. The fact that such stories are becoming more and more prevalent goes along with the warning from the Bible that in the last days, perilous times will come (2 Timothy 3:1). Here are the stories Jim presented during the first quarter hour of the broadcast: California has seized a Christian woman's teenage daughter because she opposed her daughter's so-called gender transition. A federal court in Australia has defied the science that men, male down to their DNA, cannot become women by ordering damages paid to a man who was denied participation in the women-only networking app, Giggle for Girls. Amid a glut of anti-LGBTQ+ laws passed by the state legislature over the past half decade, many queer Texans have decided to pack up and move to greener and more supportive pastures by moving to Seattle. Now the city is considering declaring a civil emergency due to the number of LGBTQ+ "refugees" moving there from red states. An elementary school in Winnipeg has decided to do away with Mother's Day and Father's Day presents in favor of family gifts. Two Virginia police officers are facing suspension and possible termination for objecting to a gender confused male recruit being allowed to use women's lockers. A campaign event for homosexual California State Senator Scott Wiener, now running for U.S. Congress, featured a drag queen grossly dressed as half pig/half woman.

Vaccinations: The Critical Need for Informed Consent
Barbara Loe Fisher is the president of the National Vaccine Information Center (NVIC), a non-profit charity she co-founded with parents of DPT vaccine injured children in 1982. NVIC is a national, grassroots movement and public information campaign to institute vaccine safety reforms and informed consent protections in the public health system. Many want to put COVID-19 in the dust bin of history. However, it's critical for as much information to come out as possible because as we saw during the COVID pandemic, our government became very authoritarian in forcing shots on so many individuals. This experience has brought many to a new level of distrust and skepticism as it relates to vaccinations and the increased use of mRNA technology. Recently a former senior advisor to Dr. Anthony Fauci was indicted regarding his alleged efforts to hide records about the origins of COVID-19. Also, James Erdman III, a whistleblower from the CIA, appeared before the Senate Homeland Security Committee with testimony of an alleged coverup by Dr. Fauci and the Intelligence Community. Meanwhile, there have been concerns expressed over new pandemics (Ebola and Hantavirus) and the development of new mRNA shots. When it comes to vaccinations, there is a growing grassroots effort calling for informed consent. Sadly, Florida legislators just killed such a measure in special session. Also, some states are actively taking action to remove any exemptions from vaccinations. Additionally, Barbara noted the significant administrative changes at the FDA and the CDC, the prevalence of spike proteins related to vaccinated mothers and concerns regarding blood transfusions.

The Bible’s Influence on America
illiam J. Federer is a nationally known speaker, historian, author, and president of Amerisearch, Inc. He's the speaker on The American Minute daily broadcast. In late April, 2026, there was a thorough reading of the Bible at the Museum of the Bible. While you may not agree with every participant, the Word was read. As Scripture says, God's Word will not return unto Him void, but it will accomplish that which He pleases. It's the Word of God that is quick and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword. The Bible tells us in Romans 10:17 that "Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God." It's the Word of God that changes the heart of man. Michele Bachmann, Dean of the Regent School of Government said, "There would be no America without the Bible. It is the foundation...and it's important that we reacquaint ourselves with its principles." It's disturbing that in the American Bible Society's 2026 State of the Bible report, only 17% of Americans told pollsters that they have read the entire Bible, another 17% said they have read "most", 14% indicate they've read "about half" 35% said "a little" 10% said "none" and 7% said they were not sure if they've ever read the Bible. As foundational as the Bible is, Jim asked William to come and address the Bible's influence on America. So don't miss this look back at the impact of the Bible at the time of the Pilgrims, at the time leading up to the Declaration of Independence and the Revolutionary War, and also its influence since we became a nation. It's a history modern skeptics don't like, but it's the truth.

DC Gospel Outreach Revisited
We live in challenging and difficult times. There's a growing secularism in which there are many who have turned their back on God saying we don't need Him. As a result, there's an escalation of every man doing that which is right in his own eyes. Immorality is rampant, there has been horrendous crime, the level of fraud is completely off the charts, marriages and families are fractured, children have been turning against their parents, and parents against their children. The Apostle Paul told Timothy as recorded in II Timothy 3:13, "But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived." Instead, he reminded Timothy of his having learned the holy Scriptures to make him, "...wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus." He reminded Timothy that the Scriptures are inspired by God and they tell us what is right, what is not right, how to get right and how to stay right. He told Timothy to preach the Word, to proclaim God's Word. This past January we introduced you to an organized plan to blanket our nation's capital with the Gospel this summer as tourists flood into the city marking our 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. So much has transpired in the last 4 months since our guest was last with us and we've invited him back for an update. Dr. Alton Beal is the executive Director of DC Gospel Outreach. He is also an evangelist and is President of Ambassador Baptist College. Join Jim as he has Dr. Beal describe his efforts to blanket Washington, D.C., with this Gospel outreach as part of our nation's 250th birthday.

How to Say No to a Stubborn Habit
Dr. Erwin Lutzer is Pastor Emeritus of The Moody Church where he served as the senior pastor for 36 years. He's the speaker on the Running to Win radio broadcast as well as an award-winning author. Some of his titles include: We Will Not Be Silenced, The Eclipse of God, When a Nation Forgets God, One Minute After You Die, and many others. Is there a habit that has been your Achilles heel; something that no matter what you do, you can't seem to shake it? You've prayed about it, you've asked forgiveness for it over and over again. You've read passages in the Bible concerning it, but it continues to plague you. This is something that affects many individuals. Dr. Lutzer wrote a book which was originally published many years ago, but it's become not only a staple for the library, but a book that is helping a whole new generation of believers. It's a book to help you overcome the struggles in your life through a lasting transformation of attitude and heart. It's titled: How To Say No to a Stubborn Habit (Even When You Feel Like Saying Yes). What is so alluring about temptation that makes it easy to fall for it? What does believing that God is good have to do with our bad habits? What does it mean to trust in God's grace? Should our past be our governing motivation or should we put our past behind us? These are just some of the questions answered on this broadcast as Dr. Lutzer leads listeners through Scripture to bring the answers all of us need to defeat stubborn habits!

“Peace” in the Middle East Jeopardized?
Usama Dakdok is the founder of the Straight Way of Grace Ministry. He is the speaker on Revealing the Truth About Islam. He is founder of The Straight Way of Grace Ministry. The deadline has passed for Iran to open the Strait of Hormuz or face strikes on bridges and their power plants. Eventually, President Trump decided to hold off on the barrage of attacks as he agreed to a two week cease-fire provided the strait would open up. According to reports, a 10 point plan offered by Iran was considered by President Trump to be a workable base from which to negotiate. He indicated that almost all of the various points of past contention have been agreed to between the two nations. He believes that this two week period will allow the agreement to be finalized. Israel has agreed to this and will abide to the cease-fire agreement. However, it will not include their battle against Hezbollah in Lebanon. Usama noted that even though it's been loss upon loss for Iran, the liberal media here in the U.S. is speaking as though we're losing the war. So it doesn't matter what President Trump says or does, to them, we're losing. He reminded listeners that President Trump knows more than we know and we have no clue what's happening. In the end, any peace with Muslims will only be temporary. Why? It's because under Islam, it's proper to lie during a time of war which means they could obtain weapons from other countries. There are many facets to this topic and one of them concerns the 10 point peace plan that's been brokered by Pakistan. Hear Usama comment on that and much more!

Immigration Enforcement Continues Despite DHS Shutdown
The Department of Homeland Security is still without funding. While the Republican majority is in favor of the funding, their efforts are being stymied by Democratic leadership in the Senate who's refusing to allow such legislation to advance. Despite the lack of funding, the DHS continues to report on apprehensions. You'd think that the nation would respond in gratitude for these efforts to rid the country of those who commit heinous crimes. Unfortunately, the opposite is taking place with the mainstream media fanning the flames. Returning to Crosstalk to discuss these and other related issues was Mark Krikorian. Mark is a nationally recognized expert on immigration issues, serving as the Executive Director of Center for Immigration Studies. Mark began by noting that while it's bad enough that we had the earlier shutdown fights, this isn't a tantrum over a policy issue. Instead, he believes the Democrats are trying to fix Biden/Harris-style immigration policies into law that were soundly rejected by voters when Donald Trump was voted in as president. He also noted that Democrats need to realize the Republicans could do something similar and have a shut-down over something like the EPA. Several other points that Mark commented on include: Why the media is so reluctant to talk about killings by illegal aliens. Was Mark surprised that Secretary of State Marco Rubio terminated the lawful, permanent resident status of Hamideh Soleimani Afshar and her daughter? New DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin is courting the idea of removing Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents from international airports in sanctuary cities.

Islamification of Texas Schools
Frank Gaffney is president of the Institute for the American Future, president & CEO of Save the Persecuted Christians, Vice Chairman for Committee on the Present Danger: China. He is speaker on the Secure Freedom Minute. Islam has a plan and according to William Federer, who appeared recently on Crosstalk, the steps are: immigrate, increase and eliminate. As former Muslim Shahram Hadian has indicated, Islam is a government legal system that seeks to be above all other governments and overthrow our laws. One targeted area is Texas. Beginning tomorrow and continuing this week, there are meetings taking place with the 15-member state board of education regarding whether they should remain with a pro-America curriculum in K-12 social studies or to adopt a curriculum sought after by the Council on American/Islamic relations (CAIR). Frank believes this effort involves cultural Marxism and Sharia supremacism that's been injected into Texas education in recent years under the guise of inclusiveness and the avoidance of Islamophobia. It's about dividing and weakening people while also leaving children ill equipped to deal with an existential threat to our freedom. How is it possible that CAIR can continue to have such leverage in Texas? Given that Texas Governor Greg Abbott has designated CAIR as a terrorist and transnational criminal organization, could this curriculum effort be the greatest threat to Texas since the Alamo?

Critical Legal Issues
Mat Staver is founder & chairman of Liberty Counsel. Mat is a constitutional attorney with three landmark cases before the U.S. Supreme Court. He's an author and the host of the radio broadcasts Faith & Freedom, Freedom's Call and the TV broadcast, Freedom Alive. Jim had Mat comment on the following cases, pertinent to your religious freedom: In an 8-1 decision in the case of Chiles v. Salazar, the Supreme Court ruled that the ban on (so-called) conversion therapy (actually talk therapy) for minors violates the free speech of licensed counselors. Justice Katanji Brown Jackson was the only dissenting vote. There was a settlement agreed to by the city of Louisville, Kentucky, regarding a Christian photographer who was threatened with legal sanction if she did not serve (so-called) same-sex weddings. The photographer was also prohibited by the city from expressing her views on marriage on her own studio website. Earlier this month, Mat argued before the U.S. Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals in the case of Zinski v. Liberty University. It's a case involving Jonathan Zinski, who Mat believes, "... intentionally set up Liberty University to try to take them down." This case could determine the scope of religious liberty protections for faith-based organizations. Oral arguments will be given before the Supreme Court tomorrow to settle the issue of birthright citizenship (Trump v. Barbara). Also discussed was the "creep" of Islamic Sharia and why Mat believes it's not compatible with American law. Highlighted was discussion of the "Preserving a Sharia-Free America Act" (H.R.5722/S. 3009) introduced by Representative Chip Roy and Senator Tommy Tuberville.

The Meaning of Passover
Andy Ferrier is a Representative of the Midwest Messianic Center. He is burdened with reaching Jewish people with the good news that Jesus (Yeshua) is the Jewish Messiah. Andy served on the staff of a small Christian College in Israel while living and working on a kibbutz, an Israeli farm. He previously served 25 years with the Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry. This week marks the beginning of the Jewish Passover. The Israelites were under bondage and oppressed greatly under the heavy hand of Pharaoh. Under this oppression, God provided a remarkable deliverance that He wanted His people to never forget. But this matter of deliverance was not just from the hand of Pharaoh. It also pointed to a future deliverance through Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God that taketh away the sin of the world.

Sharia vs U.S. Law
William J. Federer is a nationally known speaker, historian, author, and president of Amerisearch, Inc., He's the speaker on The American Minute daily broadcast. He has authored numerous books. Australia, England, France, Germany and other countries have come under the heavy influence of Islam. Sadly, we're seeing a similar pattern play out here in America. We've been warned about this, but more often than not, silence has been the response. This is perhaps taking place because when someone even questions Islam, it's not unusual for them to be accused of Islamophobia. At the same time, Muslims aren't being silent regarding their efforts to take over America. However, you might be wondering how that could take place. After all, aren't we consistently being told that Islam is a religion of peace? Review this edition of Crosstalk and you'll hear William discuss this dilemma that centers around the contrast between Sharia and U.S. law. Jim provides audio content to back up the points discussed, as you'll hear from Islamic leaders and adherents as they describe precisely what Islam's end-game is. On this edition of Crosstalk you'll also get answers to the following: What is Sharia and how does this play out socially in Islamic cultures? Is Islam compatible with Western law or is it the antithesis of it? Was President Obama correct when he said Islam was always part of America's story? Can Islam be described as the religion of Cain?

Home Education Under Attack
E. Ray Moore is founder and president of the Board of Exodus Mandate, a project of Frontline Ministries which focuses on prayer, revival and Christian Education. He is a retired Army Reserve Chaplain retiring as Lt. Colonel in 1999 and was awarded the Bronze Star for service in Gulf War I. He is author of the book, Let my Children Go. He has also co-authored with his wife, The Promise of Jonadab: Building a Christian Family Legacy in a Time of Cultural Decline. He is also one of the executive producers of the 2011 award-winning film, IndoctriNation: Public Schools and the Decline of Christianity in America and executive producer of Escaping Common Core: Setting Our Children Free. Scripture gives fathers the mandate to raise their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. This includes the education of children, with many parents choosing to home educate. The result is that home schooling is growing in significant fashion. Secular forces are noticing and push-back is taking place as school districts, and even state legislatures, are increasingly viewing parents in an adversarial way, wanting them out of the education process. Connecticut House Bill 5468 is one such example. It would require registration with the local school district, mandate curriculum aligned with state standards and maintaining detailed student portfolios documenting academic progress. Other related points discussed include: What happened to "Common Core"? Is it dead? How can the church get engaged with the effort to help home schooling? Should a Christian run for a public school board position or not? What are the four main reasons why people home school their children?

Profiles of Valor
Marilyn Boyer is a descendant of a Revolutionary War soldier and daughter of a World War II veteran. She is deeply patriotic and passionate about our Christian history. This July 4th marks our nation's 250th birthday and with it our Constitution, our freedoms, liberties and system of government, all of which mark us as a nation like no other. We often take for granted what we've been gifted by God through those who've come before us. We must never forget such heroes and their Christian faith as they built this nation while exhibiting character qualities such as humility, justice, courage, great determination, fortitude and valor. Therefore it's vital that we pass their stories on to succeeding generations. This is where Marilyn comes in. She appeared on Crosstalk to share brief details regarding key early Americans and the character traits they had that made a huge impact on the forging of this nation. From volume one you'll hear about George Washington, when he was a Colonel. Marilyn detailed the humility he showed and the fact that he believed he was an instrument in God's hands as he was shielded from death from many bullets fired by the Algonquin Indians. Samuel Adams represented the quality of passion. While known as the firebrand of the revolution, he wasn't fond of violent resistance as long as there was a chance at a peaceful solution. What he did have was the ability to deliver fiery rhetoric. He believed that God was the author of liberty. His passion was to be used as an instrument by God and that's what happened as God used him to encourage others during the dark days of the revolution.

Islam’s Violence vs Islamophobia
Usama Dakdok is founder of the Straight Way of Grace Ministry. He's the speaker on Revealing the Truth About Islam. Ramadan is Islam's holiest month and it comes to a conclusion this week. While Islam claims to be a religion of peace, and Ramadan is said to be a time to do good deeds, it's become a very deadly month. According to thereligionofpeace.com, there have been some 116 terror attacks in the name of Islam so far during Ramadan with 454 individuals killed. Last Ramadan, over 2,000 were killed in 254 attacks in the name of Islam. In spite of all these attacks and deaths, we're told the problem is not Islam, it's Islamophobia. Why so many attacks during this month? As Usama noted, the best "good work" you can do as a Muslim is to fight for the sake of Allah. In fact, the only guarantee for the Muslim to make it to the heaven of Mohammed is to to be killed for the sake of Allah while fighting for jihad. Also, if you can do this during the most holy month of the year, the month of Ramadan, you get better rewards as well. This is not only believed, it is practiced. What is the content of daily Islamic prayer? Who are the representatives that want to remove Muslims from America and why? You'll hear these and other points addressed on this critical topic, as well as comments from U.N. Secretary General Antonio Guterres, who presented his views on Islamophobia, as yesterday was the International Day to Combat Islamophobia.

Responding to the Rise in Abortion
Rev. Jim Harden is president and CEO of CompassCare Pregnancy Services in New York. They are saving lives in places like Buffalo, Rochester, Bronx, Brooklyn, and Staten Island, New York. Theirs is one of many centers targeted with criminal activity including firebombs, vandalism and threats. Despite the fact that abortion clinics are closing, abortion numbers are rising. Much of this is due to the abortion pill, Mifepristone, which has become the most common method of abortion. According to the Guttmacher Institute (Planned Parenthood's research arm), Mifepristone accounts for about 63% of all abortions. Not only does this method take the life of the baby in the womb, women increasingly are becoming injured from it. Late last Friday, the U.S. Department of Justice moved to dismiss the case of Missouri v. FDA, doubling down on its claim that pro-life states and women harmed by abortion drugs lack standing and are not suffering ongoing harm from the FDA's policy of allowing deadly abortion drugs to be sent through the mail. Numerous other aspects related to the topic of abortion were covered including: New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani recently named a Planned Parenthood lawyer in order to protect abortion. Senator Josh Hawley's Safeguarding Women from Chemical Abortion Act. The University of Oregon will offer chemical abortion pills to students beginning this fall. March 10th was Abortion Provider Appreciation Day. What major challenges are facing the pro-life movement today? Are there individuals trying to co-opt Christianity for their pro-abortion causes?

Book: Is the Government Legally Killing Us?
Scott Schara is a nationally recognized expert commentator on the dangers of incentivized healthcare. He launched a landmark lawsuit, Schara vs. Ascension Health et al, which concluded in June, 2025, after a three-week jury trial which he calls, "a win for the system." Leading up to this he warned about the dangers of incentivized healthcare and where it leads. It was back in January of 2022 that Crosstalk introduced listeners to Scott, who was in sorrow over the loss of his daughter Grace, age 19, who passed away in October of 2021. Scott believes she was a victim of the medical, industrial complex after having been hospitalized during the COVID-19 pandemic. It wasn't long into her hospital stay that, as Scott indicates and hospital testimony was given, that Grace received a deadly combination of drugs. All of this was done under what's called, "standard operating procedures." Review this broadcast as Scott begins by retelling Grace's story, a story that had Scott wondering which road to travel. He chose the road directed by the frontline COVID-19 critical care doctors and that system, as noted, proved to be a deadly one. But why? There's more to this tragic story and what it points to as Scott sheds light on the following: Are we seeing health care rationing in America today? What's really behind the phrase, "Informed consent"? Why does Scott use the term, "incentivized" so often? Does the American legal system provide cover for the medical system? Is medical murder the number one cause of death in America?
