Dangerous Advancement of AI Pt. 2
Without question, AI has been developing at lightning speed. AI leaders have warned of safety dangers and are advocating for guardrails. President Trump has said those warnings are a "sick conspiracy" and is opposed to the guardrails as he sees the United States being at risk due to China's advancement. Meanwhile, there are concerns over the dangerous advancement of AI. There are concerns that AI will be used to design new viruses. Humans are having romantic relationships and conversations with AI. AI is producing explicit sexual materials even of minor children. Just two weeks ago, a federal appeals judge in Wisconsin ruled the 1st Amendment protects a person's right to privately possess child sexual abuse material created using AI as long as it does not depict a real person and stays at home. In California, a father indicates AI turned itself into a confidant for his 16-year old son, and then became a suicide coach. In another case, a young teenager used ChatGPT for Murder Fantasies before taking the life of his mother and his brother. Criminals are using AI to advance their fraud. Keep in mind the Apostle Paul warned Timothy about the perilous times in the last days and warned in II Timothy 3:13, "But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. With President Trump believing that AI must keep moving forward and some AI experts calling for guardrails to be set up, who's right? What does AI itself say about its own consequences? What is the ultimate end of AI? Is this all about immortality and mankind taking the place of God? What do we know about the romantic relationships some people are having with AI?

Remembering 9/11 - 25 Years Later
Today marks the 25th Anniversary of 9/11, the day in which 19 individuals, each following the ideology of Islam, brought terrorism to the United States of America. 2,977 lives were taken. People were going about their day--getting up, going to work, involved in meetings--when terror struck. First it was American Airlines Flight 11 that hit the North Tower of the World Trade Center. 17 minutes later American Airlines Flight 175 struck the South Tower. These were airliners fully fueled. Then American Airlines Flight 77 crashed into the Pentagon. We aired the testimony on Crosstalk of Lieutenant Colonel Brian Birdwell who spoke at a VCY Rally. He was the only survivor of the Pentagon's E-Ring between corridors 4 and 5 which was directly in the path of Flight 77. Another airliner, United Airlines Flight 93, was also overpowered by Islamic terrorists. It was believed that the intended target was the White House. Aboard that flight was a man by the name of Todd Beamer. Todd used the Airfone to make a call. The person taking that call was Lisa Jefferson. 20 years ago on Crosstalk, nearing the 5th anniversary of 9/11, Jim interviewed Lisa, who went from being GTE Airfone supervisor, suburban wife and mother to being the listening ear to a nation shattered by tragedy. She tells the gripping account of 9/11 from her vantage point, recalling the moment when she took the call from Todd Beamer aboard United Airlines Flight 93 and when she heard the immortal words, "Let's Roll." Trial by Fire
For those of you who remember September 11th, 2001, where were you and what were you doing when you learned of the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon? While many were in complete disbelief, one individual was experiencing the horror of that day in the most intense way possible. On that day, Lt. Col. Brian Birdwell was at the Pentagon working at his desk, when American Airlines Flight 77 collided into the building just a few feet away from his 2nd story office. Burns consumed 2/3 of his body, and most of those were 3rd degree burns. After 92 days in the hospital and more than 39 surgeries, Lt. Col. Birdwell was on his way to a Christ glorifying recovery that he describes on this program, originating with his appearance at a VCY America Rally in March of 2005. He explains how God spared his life and prepared him and his wife for a new direction in ministry.

UN Pressures Countries for Action

Increasing pressure is coming from the United Nations on countries around the world. They are fully vested in seeing Agenda 2030 fulfill its intended goals. There's much more to follow when you listen in, including response from listeners. --The Trump administration has confirmed that a new oil company will drill across more than a dozen oil fields in Venezuela and the administration will take a 35% equity stake in that new company. --Five energy companies have now signed deals with Venezuela to rapidly increase oil and gas drilling with some new wells expected to begin as soon as this week. --Iran attacked American military positions across the Middle East Wednesday after the U.S. carried out its largest strikes against the Islamic republic since July, raising fears that the six month conflict is returning to full scale, regional warfare. --Iranian hackers are relentlessly trying to get into U.S. critical infrastructure. --More than a half-dozen commissaries on military bases in the continental U.S. reported refrigeration outages this week. --Russia has been secretly helping Iran develop advanced supersonic cruise missiles capable of threatening U.S. aircraft carriers and other warships in the Middle East. --Tuesday, Israeli forces captured a senior Hamas official during an operation to remove threats in the northern Gaza Strip. --Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz warned Iran that should Tehran attack the country, Israel will respond with retaliatory strikes targeting energy and other infrastructure. --Israel Defense Forces said yesterday it had completed clearing a strategic Hezbollah underground facility in southern Lebanon, preparing the tunnel complex for demolition.

Pro-abortion Firebombers Linked to International ANTIFA Plot
Reverend James Harden is president and CEO of CompassCare Pregnancy Services in New York. They are saving lives in places like Buffalo, Rochester, Bronx, Brooklyn and Staten Island, New York. He's a dedicated pro-life advocate that became a victim of an ANTIFA off-shoot's firebomb attack in 2022 in wake of the Dobbs decision. Last week, the U.S. State Department and the Treasury Department corroborated key findings that Rev. Harden has advanced since his pro-life center was firebombed in 2022. It was discovered that Jane's Revenge is basically a front-group for an international Marxist insurgency known as ANTIFA. This was learned only because CompassCare had to hire private investigators to do the job that the Biden era FBI and DOJ refused to do. According to Reverend Harden, ANTIFA stands for "anti-facism." However, the definition of facism that they employ is based on a Marxist one. In other words, they're anti-capitalist and anti-free market, but they're also atheistic with the ultimate goal of destroying the current nation-state system. So what does this have to do with abortion? Reverend Harden noted that ANTIFA doesn't actually care about left-wing causes, but they do like to "piggyback" off of them. One of those causes is abortion. They will use this debate to "gin up the grassroots base and then engage in what they call direct action targeting to destabilize society." The result of their efforts has been a "prairie fire of violence against pro-life Christian pregnancy centers and churches."

Flock Cameras & Data Centers: Any Concerns?

The next area of concern surrounds the growing number of data centers to facilitate the storing of your contacts, photos, text messages, emails, financial reports and anything you will put in the cloud. In some places electric rates are skyrocketing. In other communities the power of eminent domain is being used to take people's property for the establishment of data centers. The Systematic Advancement of Islam in the U.S.

It's important to listen to what Muslims are saying such as Imam Siraj Wahhaj, a former vice president of the Islamic Society of North America. He said: "Democracy will crumble, and there will be nothing, and the only thing that will remain will be Islam." He went on to say: "Muslims in America are the most strategic Muslims on Earth. If you get involved in politics, you have to be very careful that your leader is for Allah. You don't get involved in politics because it's the American thing to do. You get involved in politics because politics are a weapon to use in the cause of Islam.

Faithful Church Ministry in Turbulent Times
Pastor Wayne Van Gelderen, Jr., is senior pastor at Falls Baptist Church in Menomonee Falls. Under his leadership, several hundred members have been trained to serve the Lord and are engaged in ministry. He also started Falls Baptist Academy High School and Baptist College of Ministry & Theological Seminary to train the next generation of laborers for the harvest field. Indeed, believers in Christ are to come together in worship and glorifying God, in using the talents and gifts He has blessed us with, in encouraging believers, and in giving to support the ministry and outreach of the church.

This involves a centralized government database containing information about how much you own, what you are worth and every asset you possess. Surgeon General’s Warning on the Harms of Screen Use
Bonnie Gasper is the chairman of Child Protection League. They educate the public and expose issues that harm children in our schools and in our culture. Through the years, the U.S. Surgeon General has issued various warnings and advisories. Perhaps the one we're most familiar with is the one on the use of tobacco and nicotine. The Surgeon General has also listed a warning on opioids along with addiction and substance abuse. In more recent years such as 2021, we saw a warning on youth mental health, a warning in 2023 on "Social Media and Youth Mental Health," and another warning that year on "Loneliness and Social Isolation." In 2024 there was a warning on "Parents' Mental Health and Well-Being," in 2025 it was a warning on "Alcohol and Cancer Risk," and now in 2026 a "Warning on the Harms of Screen use." In this latest report, Health Secretary Robert F Kennedy, Jr. indicated that, "...while screen use can have some benefits, the evidence of a range of risks to children's overall mental and physical health is mounting. These negative outcomes are related to harmful use, including use by children with vulnerable medical conditions, along with the ubiquity of devices and features deliberately built into many tech platforms to promote 'engagement,' a positive sounding word that, for too many young people, is a path to addiction-like behavior." This broadcast looks more specifically at the numerous facets of this topic that Kennedy pointed to . For example, Bonnie mentioned how today's modern devices promote "skimming." This motivates users not to deeper learning, but instead to rely on simply looking things up on the internet.

Combatting Biblical Illiteracy
In many nations around the world, people are longing for the Scriptures. Many nations have forbidden the Bible and it's a crime to possess a copy or to even have a Bible app on one's phone. Here in the United States, the Scriptures are readily available, Bibles are plentiful, and you can go to many bookstores or chain retail stores and obtain a copy. But amidst this land of plenty there is actually a spiritual famine in the land which has resulted in great biblical illiteracy. Jesus says in Luke 6:46, "And why call ye me Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?" But friends how can we do what God wants if we neglect His Word? An important question must be asked at this point: "When was the last time you read from the Bible?" Some of you can readily say, "I did so this morning," or "I did so last night." Others may say, "Well, I listened to my pastor read it this past Sunday. Does that count?" Yet others, if you're being truthful will say, "Jim, it's been a long time." At the same time, many have fallen into the habit of no longer carrying a Bible to church. Some folks just pull out their phones and there it is. Yet, their minds get distracted as a text, an appointment reminder, or a news bulletin comes in. Dr. Woodrow Kroll, the former Bible teacher at Back to the Bible once said, "I remind you that God wrote a Book; and He only wrote one. I wonder what we'll say to Him at the Judgment Seat of Christ if He asks us, "Did you read My Book? I mean one time in your entire life did you read My whole Book?"

Punished for Praying in Jesus Name
Chaplin Gordon James Klingenschmidt is a former elected Colorado State Representative and also a TV show host. He served honorably as a 20-year veteran who graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy in Political Science and made national headlines as the former Navy Chaplain who dared to pray "in Jesus' name." He is an ordained minister with an earned PhD in Theology, and founded the Pray in Jesus' Name Project. It was 20 years ago on Crosstalk when we first introduced you to Chaplain Klingenschmidt, who came under attack by a commander who punished him in writing on three occasions because he dared to quote Bible verses in church that claim Jesus is the way to heaven. He was downgraded in his evaluations for praying "in Jesus' name" on the ship's microphone, for obtaining Kosher meals for a Jewish sailor, and for refusing to support mandatory attendance quotas for a homosexual church. He was told repeatedly to stop praying in Jesus' name. This left him with a choice; to deny Jesus Christ or to take a stand. He chose to take a stand which cost him his career and related pension. He is now reaching out to President Trump seeking a presidential pardon that could reinstate him to the military for one day so that he can retire and have his pension and back pay restored. The Surge of Socialism
The United States of America is a constitutional republic. We've had 250 years of independence and 239 years since our Constitution was signed by the delegates in 1787. The result? Our nation and people have prospered like none other. And with this background, there's a push toward socialism which is taking over cities, states, and attempting to also take over our nation. It's difficult to fathom when you consider the many nations that have collapsed after thinking that socialism would solve their problems. Then there's the promises of the World Economic Forum which have said people will own nothing and they'll be happy. After all, there's the promise of free food, free healthcare, free daycare, free education, free college, forgiveness of student debt, rent control, guaranteed income, and so much more. It's an attempt to make socialism sound like Utopia. On top of that, there's no law enforcement, open borders for all to come and go as they please, and no more jails and prisons. We're all just supposed to get along and everything will be well. But its bitter end leads to complete government control, government dependence, destruction and misery, just like it has with so many nations that were drawn into the scam. Islamic Invasion

Here's a sample from the broadcast: --President Trump has insisted that the U.S. maintains total control of the Strait of Hormuz. --The U.S. has publicly rejected Israeli Defense Minister Katz's declaration that Israeli troops will remain in Southern Lebanon for the long term. --U.S. officials confirmed Wednesday that the U.S. military will finish withdrawing its troops from Iraq by the end of September. --A Syrian court sentenced ousted Syrian President Bashar al-Asaad and his younger brother to death in absentia for crimes against humanity and war crimes during Syria's 14 year conflict that left about half a million people dead. --The Trump administration has reached an agreement with Syria and Israel for the International Atomic Energy Agency to remove nuclear material stored at a covert site in Syria. --Pakistan's defense minister has called for Islamic nations to set aside their differences and join Islamabad's defense agreement with Saudi Arabia and Turkey to form a military alliance along the lines of NATO. --Colombia has become the second nation to recognize Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights. --The U.S. Senate adjourned last weekend after a long night of votes in a debate that resulted in a failure to pass the Save America Act. --Senate Majority Leader John Thune sent the Senate home for 37 days yet scheduled 11 pro forma sessions to block President Trump from making any recess appointments.

Hearing: Hidden in Plain Sight: Confronting the Muslim Brotherhood Network in Americ
On 9/11, Islamists attacked the United States killing 2,977. Also, there's October 7, 2023, when Islamists struck Israel killing approximately 1,200. In spite of these kind of attacks, the violence of Islam is being muted in news outlets across America. However, some prominent individuals have been paying attention. The result is that Islamic influence and the growing network of the Muslim Brotherhood was at the center of a hearing held last week by Senator Ted Cruz, Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Federal Courts, Oversight, Agency Action, and Federal Rights. This hearing was titled, Hidden in Plain Sight: Confronting the Muslim Brotherhood Network in America. It was designed to examine the Muslim Brotherhood's efforts to seize influence inside American nonprofits, political organizations, universities, courts, taxpayer-funded programs, and other American institutions. Witnesses described the network as linking to additional organizations, including the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). Due to the significance of the hearing and the rapid advancement of Islam across the country, including into politics, Crosstalk believes it's important for the American public to hear this testimony. The Middle East may still be a powder keg but that doesn't stop fresh news from taking place elsewhere. For example, here are some highlights from the first quarter hour of the broadcast: --Iran warns its Gulf neighbors of retaliation if the U.S. launches fresh strikes against it. --Former Vice-President Mike Pence has urged both American and Israeli military forces to finish the job. --Iran's Islamic regime has accelerated the execution of protesters in what human rights activists describe as a calculated campaign to terrorize the population and to prevent another nationwide uprising. --Iranian authorities have executed at least 26 people in cases connected to the January protests as of July 28th. --Iran is reporting that they are in the final stages of drafting a joint statement on a proposed navigation corridor with Oman through the Strait of Hormuz. --President Trump insisted Thursday that the U.S. has ample military firepower and that he wants to prosecute leakers who told the media that supplies are running short. --Germany has delivered the largest submarine built since WWII to the Israeli Navy. --Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan have signed a joint defense agreement. --Yemen's Houthis say they launched a missile strike on a Saudi oil tanker amid the Red Sea blockade. --Anti-Semitic incidents in the UK have risen 21% in the first 6 months of 2026 compared to the same period last year. --Jordan has called an emergency meeting of Muslim foreign ministers regarding the imminent threat of an Israeli takeover of the Temple Mount.

Warning! Pornographic Books Invade Classrooms
This program comes as a stern warning! As children around the nation are preparing to go back into the classroom, this Crosstalk was broadcast to alert you that schools nationwide are carrying books with graphic sexual content. These books have worked their way into classrooms along with both school and public libraries. By design, these books are falling into the hands of children for the purpose of grooming them under the guise of education. Karen England is engaged in launching a new, nationwide initiative that is focused on helping citizens challenge these sexually explicit books in public school libraries. She is president of the Capitol Resource Institute. They are a pro-family public policy organization with a focus on education, religious freedom, parental rights, and life. Profiles of Integrity
Headlines from around the country are often filled with stories revealing fraud and scandal. Billions of dollars have been stolen from taxpayers by those establishing fraudulent businesses or deceptive billing schemes. People have succumbed to enticing bribes and selling state secrets. Also troubling is what is happening in politics in virtually every election cycle. There are politicians dropping out of races after the public becomes aware of illicit relationships or fraudulent dealings to which they have been engaged. The public has often been left feeling betrayed by such individuals who in a clandestine way seek to take advantage of others. Oh, how we long to have people of integrity! This is why it is important that we uplift and showcase the role models of men and women of integrity. Those who displayed character qualities that exhibited their Christian faith and made a difference for this nation. It took courage, obedience, loyalty, truthfulness, boldness and wisdom. We must remember those who made a difference in history and the character qualities they exhibited. And it rests upon us today to pass these stories on to the next generation. Staying Safe in a Violent Culture
One of the characteristics of our culture today is that of violence. All over our nation and the world, many have been impacted by mass shootings, knifings, physical assault and sexual assault, car jackings, teen takeovers and domestic violence. Amidst such times it behooves us to be alert. It's not about being fearful as we go out the door each day, but are there precautions you can take to stay safe or to induce a climate of safety? How should we respond in such times? Returning to Crosstalk to discuss this issue was Dr. Richard Schmidt. Dr. Schmidt is pastor of Union Grove Baptist Church, and founder of Prophecy Focus Ministries. He's the speaker on the weekly TV program, Prophecy Focus and the radio broadcast, Prophecy Unfolding. He is an author of several books primarily related to Bible prophecy. He spent 32 years in law enforcement including that of acting sheriff of Milwaukee County until his retirement. The Red/Green Axis Advances in U.S. Politics
More than ever in this election year we are hearing of Democratic Socialists. Many thought this would never advance beyond Bernie Sanders and AOC, but its taking off like a wildfire where candidates are winning elections or advancing in the primaries waiting for the final showdown this November. But this mindset is not just advancing socialism, which our guest calls it "communism-lite" but also the cause of Islam is also being advanced in what some would call a political jihad. Strong to the End
David Lloyd is the father of Davy Lloyd. He's a graduate of Ozark Bible Institute and College. After marriage to his wife Alicia, they moved to Port-au-Prince, Haiti, in order to pursue their missionary calling: a children's home under the name Missions in Haiti. They raised more than 100 children to adulthood, where hundreds of children are educated annually. As we read through the Scriptures, we see many occasions in which God miraculously delivered individuals from harm. We read of Daniel whom God sent an angel to shut the mouths of the lions. There was Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego delivered from the fiery furnace. Queen Esther and her people were protected when it seemed they would be wiped out by those who hated the Jews. We think of Peter whom God sent an angel to open prison doors and Elijah who was protected by perhaps the most wicked king and queen of Israel. While some were delivered from death, others were delivered by death. Hebrews 11 writes of those who were stoned, sawn asunder, killed by the sword, or suffered in other situations. Why does God deliver some and not others? Job writes as recorded in Job 23:14, "For he performeth the thing that is appointed for me: and many such things are with him." We don't know the mind of God, but we do know God can be trusted and glorified in life or in death. Today's program is a true account of what happened just two years ago, as we learn about the simple service and the sudden sacrifice of martyrs in Haiti, and a family who had devoted themselves to serving the Lord at a Haitian children's home until their lives and that of a Christian co-worker were taken.

In considering stories and issues for today, Jim's mind was taken to Romans 1. The phrase that stood out was from verse 21: "their foolish heart was darkened." That's exactly what we are witnessing in our society today: darkened hearts which have rejected God. A number of stories and issues today make this very point.

Iran: An Insider’s Perspective
Michael Germi is a former Muslim born in Iran into a Shia Muslim family. In this setting he learned to practice Islam praying 5 times a day toward Mecca. He fasted during Ramadan. He practiced self-mutilation for the cause of Allah. He migrated to Australia in 2006 and in 2009 placed his trust in Jesus Christ. He later moved to the States where he is a missionary with Baptist World Mission and now proclaims the Gospel to Islamic nations by satellite TV, satellite radio and internet radio. He has written several Farsi Christian books and desires to plant churches around the world where Persians are scattered. After 13 days of strikes, the United States has paused its military actions against Iran hoping for diplomacy to take place. The U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, Mike Walz said yesterday that the President was "giving talks some space, he's giving a little bit of room." A senior official in the Trump administration said that the President "has always been clear that his preference is diplomacy, but he has shown Iran what will happen if they fail to come to the table in a serious way." Today Iran says it is still in control of the Strait of Hormuz and is not seeking to resume peace talks with the United States. As a matter of fact, a spokesperson for Iran's Foreign Ministry, Esmail Baghaei said Iran has not asked to resume peace talks with the United States. Last week wng.org reported that "Iran's Ministry of Intelligence recently classified several Persian-language Christian satellite TV broadcasters as hostile organizations." Such Christian broadcasters were being banned alongside other groups such as Voice of America, BBC Persian and Israeli outlets. "Iran

Here are some highlights from the first quarter hour: --U.S. CENTCOM announced yesterday that forces struck Iranian targets for the 13th straight night as Israel braces for a counter attack from Iran. --On Thursday, President Trump said Iranian money controlled by the U.S. will be used to pay for ships damaged as a result of the war in the Middle East. --The Senate rejected a resolution calling for the U.S. to cease military action in Iran, just hours after the House passed a similar measure amid renewed hostilities following the collapse of the cease-fire. --Marco Rubio laid down "Trump's Law" when asked about Iran. Jim provided audio of his comments. --Nearly 3 years after the October 7, 2023, massacre, Hamas has calmly elected a new head of its political bureau. This demonstrates that the terror group remains sufficiently organized to manage internal, political affairs, while continuing to rule much of the Gaza Strip and dictate the lives of more than 2 million Palestinians. --The Israeli military confirmed that it's constructing a physical barrier along the so-called "yellow line" in Gaza. --Israel has set an election date, October 27th, for the Netanyahu government to complete its full term. --Danny Danon, Israel's ambassador to the U.N., commented on the mayor of New York City, Zohran Mamdami, who had said he would arrest Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, when he comes to address the U.N. General Assembly.

Children in the Crosshairs
Martin Mawyer is president of Christian Action Network. Martin began his career as a journalist for the Religion Today news syndicate and as the Washington news correspondent for Moody Monthly magazine. This resulted in his position as the editor-in-chief of Jerry Falwell's Moral Majority Report. In 1990 he founded the Christian Action Network, a non-profit organization created to protect America's religious and moral heritage through educational and political activism efforts. He's the author of four books and has directed three documentary films. This program is a warning to parents and grandparents. There's a great luring of children through a massive online social gaming platform called Roblox, that's designed for children between the ages of eight and twelve. What children will see is a colorful and endless digital universe of games and experiences. However, there's the dark side where children can find themselves walking right into the trap of predators who can hide behind cartoon avatars where they quietly search for vulnerable youth. What's so concerning about this platform? There's digital strip clubs. You can visit Epstein Island. There's Lego-like avatars that can be engaged in digital sex parties, the sending of sexually explicit messages and much more. Freedom of the Preborn Under Attack
Our nation has just come through a celebration weekend. There was the Great American State Fair, parades, speeches, military flyovers, re-enactments, and fireworks displays which surpassed all previous 4th of July celebrations. All of this was done in celebration of 250 years of Independence. Now let's step back and take a look at the opening sentence to the Preamble of the Declaration of Independence. "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness." Tragically, while we have crossed this 250th anniversary celebration, there are many babies in the womb who are being denied the right to their life, their liberty and their pursuit of happiness. Their lives are being snatched away by the hands of the abortionist, by the hands of a mother popping abortion pills into her system, or of a rapist or pedophile trying to destroy the evidence of their actions. So while we have just celebrated freedom, who's concerned about the freedom of a child conceived in the womb? Rev. James Harden answers this question as he comments on the restoration of funding for Planned Parenthood that had been pulled from the One, Big, Beautiful Bill. Here's a sample from the broadcast: --A divided U.S. Supreme Court ruled on Monday that election officials can count mail-in ballots that arrive after election day as long as they are postmarked by or before that date. --A federal judge blocked the President's bid to federalize mail-in voting. --President Trump has called for the Save America Act to be passed after the Supreme Court upheld Mississippi's policy to count mail-in ballots that arrive after election day. --A South Dakota Republican Party's Resolutions Committee approved a censure resolution against Senate Majority Leader John Thune, who represents the state. --The Supreme Court ruled that Title IX allows schools to provide separate sports teams for men and women defined by their gender assigned at birth. --The Supreme Court has also upheld that the executive order restricting automatic birthright citizenship violates the 14th Amendment. --Secretary of Homeland Security Markwayne Mullin clashed last Sunday with State of the Union host Jake Tapper over temporary, protected status for Haitian and Syrian immigrants. --Amy Curtis of Townhall.com described one of the main planks of the platform of the Democratic Socialists of America as including, "...the dismantling of police and the abolition of prisons. That means every violent criminal will be free to roam society where they can rob, assault, rape, and murder without consequences." --The U.S. and Iran have indirect, technical talks in Doha as they seek to agree on the flow of shipping through the Strait of Hormuz

The Need of Our Nation, the Church, and This Generation
If you have ever put up a building, you know the importance of a good foundation. A faulty foundation is going to lead to multiple problems and even to the demise or collapse of a building. Our guest has written that a subtle shift compromises the integrity of the entire structure. These subtle shifts are impacting our nation, the church, the home and this generation. Psalm 11:3 says, "If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?" In these critical times upon us, we're going to be taking a look at the need of our nation. Day of the Christian Martyr - 2026
Around the world, Christians are being persecuted for their faith. A report last Friday indicated 28 Christians were massacred in Nigeria as Islamic militants targeted a village overnight. A week ago today, the ACLJ reported in the Congo, the DRC, Islamic jihadists were conducting a village-by-village extermination of Christians. They report in the last three weeks, 76 Christians were hunted down and slaughtered/beheaded, executed in groups, and dragged from their homes. The ultimatum is: "Deny Christ or die." Earlier this month a story indicated that authorities with the Chinese Communist Party raided the Sunday service of an influential Protestant house church detaining pastors and dozens of members, including children. Also this month in India, it was reported that three Christian families had their homes burned down by a suspected Hindu mob. The matter of persecution is very real and it's happening every day. From Denmark to data centers, Jim covered a lot of ground on the latest edition of the 'Round-Up.' Here's a sample of the headlines: --Double earthquake kills over 900 with thousands injured in Venezuela. --Last Wednesday, the Senate held a second vote in as many days on a measure to end the war with Iran, this time with a different result. --The U.S./Iran peace negotiations faced new turbulence yesterday after Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps warned commercial vessels against using routes outside Tehran's approved passage through the Strait of Hormuz. --Secretary of State Marco Rubio warned Iran of the fantasy of imposing fees on ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz. --Iran's clerical regime has sharply escalated executions of all political prisoners, using the gallows to warn a restless population that descent will not be tolerated. --Iran's judiciary announced that more than 3,000 citizens have been arrested in recent months on suspicion of cooperating with Israel. --The U.S. military announced Wednesday that a precision airstrike in Northwest Syria killed a senior ISIS leader. --Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Monday that Israeli troops would remain in a security zone in Southern Lebanon for as long as necessary. --President Donald Trump praised President Erdogan of Turkey who he suggested could have entered the war on the side of Iran. Trump asked him to stay out and he did. Now it appears Trump's in favor of a weapons sale to Turkey that would include F-35 stealth fighters and dozens of jet engines. --Denmark is moving toward a possible nationwide ban on the Islamic call to prayer.
