The Throne is Too Heavy Part 3 | Zero Gravity

Some messages don’t get lost…they just find another way to be heard. This piece was first spoken live during a Face to Face gathering in Huger, SC.Right before the word began, the recording dropped. What was captured… was only the ending. But something about this message refused to stay partial. So this is it—whole.“Zero Gravity” isn’t about trying harder. It’s about finally letting go of the weight we were never meant to carry. The pressure to define yourself. The need to prove yourself. The exhaustion of constantly being on trial in your own mind. From Eden to Gethsemane…from the weight we picked upto the weight He carried…This is the story of returning to what we were always meant to be:Not performers. Not judges. Not our own god.But sons.Daughters.Free.If you’ve seen the clips… this is the full room.If you’ve ever felt the weight… this is the release. The throne is too heavy. But the door is still open.Come in… and move with the freedom of zero gravity.

The Blur Was Mercy | D.R. Ministries

I was beginning to tell my story…and pieces of it started fading away.I could remember the pain I went through, but not all of the recovery.I could remember being helped by three…but the faces began to escape me.It’s all becoming a blur…And maybe…just maybe…that’s mercy.

Sent | A Spoken Word Invitation for Face to Face

Sent is a spoken word message and invitation connected to the Face to Face gatherings. This piece explores something many people quietly carry: regret, the feeling of being behind, and the belief that past mistakes have disqualified them from purpose. Through reflection and testimony, the message challenges that assumption and reframes the story many of us tell about our lives. The idea behind Sent is simple: your past may not be the thing that disqualifies you — it may be the very thing God intends to use. This message now serves as an opening moment for the Face to Face gatherings, live worship experiences built around spoken word, music, testimony, and honest encounter. These gatherings are designed to create space where people can reflect, reconnect with God, and begin to see their story differently. The first gatherings will take place in South Carolina:📍 Anderson, SC — April 17📍 Charleston / Moncks Corner, SC — April 18Additional venue details and event information will be shared soon.Learn more about D.R. The Throne is Too Heavy Part 2: The Door and The Dance (A Christian Spoken Word)

THE THRONE IS TOO HEAVYA 3-Part Podcast SeriesPart 2: The Door & The DanceWho gets in… and what happens once you’re inside? For centuries, Paul and James have been placed on opposite sides of an argument—as if one preached grace and the other preached pressure. But they were never enemies. They were guards. In this second chapter of The Throne Is Too Heavy, we step into a single room with two watchmen standing in different places—one at the door, one on the floor—both protecting the same sacred truth.Paul stands at the entrance, holding the door open wide, refusing to let grace be turned into a ladder or faith into a transaction. You don’t earn your way in.You don’t perform your way in.You don’t clean yourself up before you belong.James stands inside the room, watching believers who know the words but have stopped moving.Because faith that never touches your hands eventually dies in your mouth.Belief was never meant to be a badge—it was meant to be a transformation. This episode explores: • Why grace must be guarded at the door • Why faith must be lived once you’re inside • How belief can become stagnant without obedience • And why the Bible isn’t divided—people areSet again to a gentle, reflective soundscape, this is not a debate to win or a doctrine to weaponize. It’s an invitation to enter honestly… and live faithfully. If you’ve been standing outside, convinced you don’t belong…The door is open.If you’ve been standing inside, convinced belief is enough…Let it move you.Two guards. One door. One room.Faith saves you.And faith changes you.Come in.Then dance.

    Mirror

Have you ever looked your SOUL in the mirror? This episode invites you to slow down and meet yourself again — not through the world’s reflection, but through the eyes of God. It’s a moment of stillness where the mirror stops reflecting and starts revealing.Through raw reflection and spiritual truth, I share what happens when we strip away what the world has layered on us — and we see the image that God designed from the very beginning.🎙️ Written and voiced by Deryl Richardson, founder of D.R. Ministries Inc.Listen. Reflect. Be reminded of who you really are.

The Throne Is Too Heavy Part 1–Between Two Gardens (A Christian Spoken Word)

THE THRONE IS TOO HEAVYBetween Two Gardens — A 3-Part PodcastCome home. Put it down.Part 1: Two Sons. Two Gardens. One Weight. Most people think the story begins with a rule.A tree. A boundary. A command. But it doesn’t.It begins with a Father… and a son.In this opening chapter of The Throne Is Too Heavy, we walk slowly through two gardens—Eden and Gethsemane—and discover the moment humanity picked up a weight it was never designed to carry: the burden of defining life without God.Adam was given a home and reached for a throne.Jesus was given a wilderness and chose trust. This episode explores: • What was really lost in Eden • Why exhaustion feels normal to us now • How sonship was exchanged for control • And how Jesus refused to repeat the same mistakeSet to a gentle acoustic soundscape, this is not a sermon meant to rush you—it’s a story meant to settle you.If you’ve been tired…If you’ve been trying to hold everything together…If you’ve been carrying more than you can name…There is a Father still calling. And the throne is still too heavy.Come home.Lay it down.

    Who Is Jesus?

Known as Yeshua in Hebrew, Iēsous in Greek, Iesus in Latin, and Jesus to us today, He has been called many things across languages and generations.Who Is Jesus is not an attempt to define Him by titles or theology, but to listen closely to the way He lived. And perhaps the most important thing to know about Himisn’t what we call Him —but how He taught us to lay the weight down…and exhale.

    When Heaven Took Them Home

Losing somebody you love doesn’t come with instructions...There’s no right way to stand. No right way to breathe. No right way to say goodbye. This piece… this story… this moment —it came from a place I didn’t ask to visit.A place where grief sits down beside youand God has to come sit even closer. If you’ve ever lost someone…if you’re carrying a weight you don’t talk about…if their birthday, or the holidays, or just quiet moments hit a little harder…then something in here is going to find you. This isn’t me being strong. This is me remembering. This is me learning how to let go without losing the love. This is me discovering that when Heaven takes someone home,God doesn’t leave you behind —He leans in.I don't know who this episode is for,but if it's for you, I hope it finds you...And when it finds you…I pray it brings the same kind of peace that found me,in a moment I never expected.— Deryl

    I Am Israel - D. R. Ministries

For 40 years I wandered this earth, knowing…there was a calling on my name, knowing I was chosen, yet I didn’t choose. “I Am Israel” is the moment conviction meets identity… and faith takes its breath again. This isn’t a sermon. It’s a declaration.A confession whispered into the quiet between who I was and who I’ve become.🔹 Written & Performed by Deryl Richardson🔹 Produced under D.R. Ministries Inc.🔹 © 2025 D.R. Wrestling Angel

Sometimes to get what we desire from God, we have to do as Jacob did, and wrestle that figurative angel. Don't give up! Don't let go! The blessings will come...

  11. 27

    Still Standing

This wasn’t meant to be a podcast. No script. No setup. Just me—raw, real, and reaching for God in the middle of the moment.I hit record because I had to get it out… and I’m sharing it now because somebody out there might need to hear what unfiltered faith sounds like. This is what it means to talk to God when you don’t have all the answers but you still believe.I didn’t clean it up or dress it up. No polish—just purpose.Because sometimes, still standing IS the testimony.Visit https://www.dr-ministries.com to learn more about the podcast and what D.R. Ministries Inc is doing.

  12. 26

    The Power of Right Now

It's never too late to begin. You don't have to let the sins of your past dictate the rest of your life through eternity. Jesus; as I call him, others call him his Hebrew name, Yeshua or Yehoshua, the Greeks knew him as Iesous, died so you can have a RIGHT NOW! ALL YOUR SINS CAN BE WASHED AWAY, and then...

  13. 25

    I'm Different

It's ok to be different. Imagine hearing the instrumental to your favorite rock song, rap song, or country song; and then over the music, singing from your soul how much you love the Lord... How many people would decide your fate from your music choice? I'm saying...God created you different, so it's ok to be...Different!

  14. 24

    Who Jesus is

Growing up, we sang a song “everybody ought to know who Jesus is” Here is my first sermon in a line that I hope becomes many.

  15. 23

    Journey vs Destination

Heaven is a place we hear about, read about, dream about. But is life about when you get there? or the journey of getting there? I took a break from podcasting, because sometimes grief can be overbearing, but my journey towards heaven just became more necessary if I am to see my mother and father again. Are you on your journey?

  16. 22

    I Am The Clay

In this episode, I take a dive into how God molds us out of this shapeless lump of clay into his magnificent masterpieces. Sometimes you have to go through the fire to harden you in places God found you vulnerable before. Let him make you. Let him mold you. Let's go to see Potter.

  17. 21

    Walk with Me Lord

A lot of times we want to scare people into Christianity. In this episode, I attempt to describe the feeling(s) involved with accepting Christ and allowing yourself to be led by the holy spirit. I believe that once you experience that feeling, you will never want to look away.

  18. 20

    Be Still

Sometimes in the mist of chaos, you need to quiet your souls, and grow your faith. Instead of charging ahead blindly God wants you to be still, and know who you have in your corner. Don't let your BIG problem make you forget that you have a BIGGER GOD! He says "Be stll, and know that I am God!" Blog available at : https://drministriesblog.wordpress.com/2023/07/16/be-still/

  19. 19

    HEAL THIS LAND

It doesn't benefit us to look to history to change our future. The benefit is to look to what we have learned from history, and to who has stood the test of time, to come to our rescue now. We are in dire need of the Saviour to heal this land. We are broken. We are divided. We are lost. In this episode, I dive into the role of our obsession with history, and finding a point that shows that our particular race or people were the dominant or chosen ones. I explore the value that the knowledge we seek actually has on our lives now. Does it truly matter if we can find a documented picture of Jesus Christ, and see the face he took when he walked this earth, and the birth certificate to match that shows his name? Are we searching for the right things? Blog also available at https://drministriesblog.wordpress.com/2023/06/08/heal-this-land/

  20. 18

    Wait on the Lord

There is a song that says, " I don't mind waiting on the Lord". So, we have to question ourselves, are we really willing to wait on God? Is there a limit to our waiting? There are many things in life, materialistic things we desire, we show great patience to obtain. Yet when it comes to the blessings God has in store for us, sometimes there is a need for things to happen right now, on our time. I dare to ask, how long are we willing to wait on God? 21. 17

    I'm Alive

This my testimony of the night I almost lost my life and how God raised me up from it. I had an allergic reaction to some medicine that I had been taking for 15 years that caused swelling on my tongue and throat to where i could barely breathe. But by the Grace of God, I survived and got stronger from the experience. Hopefully my story can bless and inspire someone else. Blog also available at: https://drministriesblog.wordpress.com/2023/03/23/im-alive/

  22. 16

    A Soldier

Who are we? The line between the people that follow Christ and the ones that don't in their everyday lives has been blurred more and more by muddying the labels. I believe there is one identity that holds true and stands as a true metaphor for who we are. Are you a SOLDIER in the army of God?  Blog available for written version at: https://drministriesblog.wordpress.com/2023/01/05/a-soldier/

  23. 15

    THE BOOK OF TJ

This podcast is dedicated to my dad. The minister, the social worker, the mechanic, the builder, the welder, the prayer warrior, the singer, the swiss army knife for God. A lot of times we wait until it's too late to tell someone we see them for who they are, but I want him to know that I see him as the loaf of bread that never ran out while feeding the multitude. The giver that never stopped giving.

  24. 14

    How Do We Pray?

It's the simplest yet most complicated question in the Christian faith. I attempt to answer this question for many that may have grown up and had or still have this question. How do we pray to God? What do we say? Do we pray like what we hear when we go to church? Is there a standard way to pray? What does the bible say?

  25. 13

    A SONG TO SING

A song is never just a song. the lyrics of a song can speak to someone in ways, your words may never be able to. I speak of the impact of songs from the first time i can remember hearing them to the way they shaped my life into the man I am today. The power in the lyrics, the music, the voice of an artist can easily be what shapes the life or changes the life of someone listening on any given day.

  26. 12

    The Time is Now

There’s no more time to sit on your calling. The time to live for God and do what he has designed you to do is now! Don’t wait until tomorrow, because tomorrow may never come.

  27. 11

    Perception is Reality

Perception is reality. It's a phrase that's echoed in every facet of life. it's a our lazy way of not getting to know people so we make up our own story, and sometimes it couldn't be further from the truth. The bible tells us not to judge unless we want to be judged for our own actions. Yet we ignore who we are and place judgement on people solely based on what we see and assume. But is that their reality?

  28. 10

    Why Not You

I'm sure if i posed the question to people around you, they can come up with every reason that God cannot use you, but as God showed with the people he used in the bible, despite their shortcomings, there is nothing that God can't bring you out of to use you and raise you up. So, look yourself in the mirror and pose the question, "Why not me?"

  29. 9

    Update God's Resume

God is yet still alive, yet we act like he hasn't done anything in 2000 years. We need to update his resume, tell the world what God has done for you. The bible is a great reference, a reliable text, but his reign didn't stop there. Let me elaborate...

  30. 8

    Count Your Blessings

If you ever doubt what God has done for you, sit down one day and attempt to count your blessings, by the second.

  31. 7

    Same God

With the expansion of churches taking this world by storm, have we forgotten that no matter how you do it, we are worshipping the same God?

  32. 6

    Introduction

Let me introduce myself. I am a child of the King. A vessel to be used by him. I hope that God continues to use me so that I can lead someone to him. Who am I? I'm just a nobody trying to tell everybody about somebody, that can save their soul. Blog available at: https://drministriesblog.wordpress.com/2022/04/10/introduction/

  33. 5

    Fly Away

I dedicate this podcast to my mother. Every time my wings would fail me; she has always been right there to replenish. Thank you, I thank God for you. The wind beneath my wings.

  34. 4

    The Whole Armor

Drafting from Ephesians the 6th chapter, I attempt to bring the whole armor to everyday life. I ask God that he walks with me and prepare me for whatever obstacles I'm to face. Many people accept God, and/or Jesus Christ as their savior, but lack a sense of what happens next... Blog available at: https://drministriesblog.wordpress.com/2022/04/03/whole-armor/

  35. 3

    My Testimony

God is a healing and delivering God. I can't go on with these podcasts without first telling you what God did for me and what got me to where I am. I'm sorry in advance that it's a little emotional for me, but hopefully after listening, you will understand. Let's pray together for the people suffering in silence from a sickness most don't understand.

  36. 2

    A Father's Prayer

The one thing I knew for sure I wanted to be in life has always been a father. This is my prayer to make me a better man and a better father.

  37. 1

    You Can't Hide

I've tried to hide from God most of my life and no matter where I ran, he always found me. When there is work for you to do, God knows how to get a hold of you. Enjoy my story, my testimony of the greatest game of hide and seek that was over before it ever got started.  Be sure to subscribe to my podcast now available on spotify, apple and google podcasts. Blog available at: https://drministriesblog.wordpress.com/2022/03/14/you-cant-hide/

  38. 0

    Forgiveness

It’s by God’s grace that we are forgiven. Sometimes the hardest thing to do is forgive ourselves. We can be our biggest obstacles to our blessings.

  39. -1

    By His Grace

Everything that the devil stole, God gave it back to me...this is a small sample of the wonders God has worked in my life. This story is sports related, but more importantly, it's a story of getting back and claiming what is mine.
