Da Killa KC
by Da Killa KC
Da Killa KC is the stage name of the up-and-coming American Singer-Songwriter and Indie Rap Artist Priscilla Hansak. She was born just northwest of Chicago in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. At the age of 5, she moved to Las Vegas, Nevada with family where she was raised and still resides. She wrote her first rap when she was 13 and won a rap battle between friends where she was then given the nickname KC, which stands for “Killa Cilla”. She began to build a reputation as a rapper to friends and peers alike. “I attended a behavioral school in 9th grade, and I can remember the one time I left my notebook in class. I think I just went to the rest room, but when I returned, the kids sitting at the same table as me were going through my notebook. They started mockingly reciting my lyrics and laughing at my rhymes. Even though I felt attacked since my notebook was really private to me, it fueled the fire in me to perfect my craft and keep writing bars”. She started locally making a name
