But the only label that truly matters is the one God gave us first: very good. Not what we call ourselves. Not what others put on us. Let’s stop carrying false labels—and stop placing them on each other. Let’s see people the way God does.

Jesus said if you drink from Him, you’ll never thirst again. I learned that the hard way—dehydrated in Phoenix heat, nearly ended up in an ambulance. But even in my foolishness, His grace showed up. Drink water. Drink from Him. His well never runs dry. 💧

Cloudy mornings in the desert are beautiful—but today it’s already 80° at 6:18am. More than the weather, I’m reflecting on how easy it is to build identity around what we do. But God calls us to root who we are in Him—not in titles, roles, or platforms.

Renew your mind. Don’t brace for lack. Expect His goodness. Set your mind on things above—His mercy, His grace, His presence. He will show up.

The other day, I realized I was stressing myself out doing things God never asked me to do. He said “record the podcast,” and I added 10 extra tasks. Sometimes it’s not what we do, but how we do it. Rest matters. Focus matters. Let God be God.

People change—and that’s a good thing. Growth often comes through discomfort, pain, or even mustard-dipped chips. Don’t cling to stale, old bread when God’s offering something fresh. Let Him shape you, stretch you, and mature you into His image.

Run to the One who never changes.

Church, maybe it’s time we repent—not just to God, but to the people we’ve failed.
